How about just doing the voting in a thread? Everyone can choose his top three which then gets 3/2/1 or 5/3/1 points and nobody can vote for his own team.

Hopefully the voting allows you to pick multiple PTs. Also what if I think my team's is the best? Do I vote for the least inferior PT?

No it'll be one I think and yes

If you do a vote, don't make it public. Because then people will vote specifically for their teams to try and stem the tide of certain things. 

 

Or alternatively you could do "match ups" between the PT for voting. That way despite team bias, you'll still have the rest of the league determining who they think will be better. 

 

Although I do agree that I wish there was a better way of determining how we are rewarding the effort here.

I see what the goal was but I agree with you boubabi, having it be graded over popular opinion would be the better bet. I think the real prize was learning about the Legions history and now about the other teams as well.
