One of the things we are going to be doing in the near future is reaching out to the list of inactive users we have. That list has been compiled with emails and we hashing out the details now. Our hope is to encourage them to return to activity here in the VHL. With that, I wanted to use this space to bring some insight into what I've found while doing this work. Most of this is simply to go "wow, interesting" as you look. But, who knows, maybe this will create some fruitful discussions. Now, while our league is much older than 2013, I believe that is the year we moved forum hosts (though I could be wrong). What I'm not sure about is if the forum is counting every existing account prior to the move as a new account in the system, so keep that in mind. It was a move to a completely different infrastructure and the numbers seem right for how many total members would have been in the league in 2013 (we moved here late in the year so wouldn't have been many new members joining that year) so yeah, members from before this forum are counted as 2013 new members here. Nice data gathering, crazy to see how the Portal and Beaviss/Spade's recruiting changed the shape of the league! Kinda wild to see that we are a month and a half into the year and despite “low recruitment numbers” we’re already like halfway to our annual total from pre-2018.
