Slightly delayed as we are now in S89 but it was a longer than usual process, including a run-off vote! It gives me pleasure to announce the Hall of Fame inductees of S88!

S85 Alexander Beketov Trophy (Most Assists)

1x All-VHL Second Team (S85)

Two Continental Cups (S79, S85)

@v.2  came back from a... 50? 60? season hiatus and dropped his 2nd Hall of Famer in remarkable fashion. In a competitive field of fine defencemen we have seen grace the VHL in recent seasons, Tui Sova stood out with his contributions to 3 expansion franchises, winning Malmo's 2nd championship as a sophomore and then captaining D.C. to finally breaking their duck in S85 after nearly 20 seasons of not quite making the final step. In the process, Sova made his name as playmaking defenceman, twice leading the league in assists and only narrowly missing out on the Valiq Trophy. He was no slouch defensively either, a member of the 1,000/1,000 club and a proven winner.

We also have a Builder induction in S88 with a member of the newer generation of the VHL earning the honour after it seems like he has closed the book on his most active chapter (although we have seen many a comeback story over the years). @Dil started off in the VHL at a young age and gained a certain reputation early on, which made his rise through the ranks all the more impressive and testament to his tenacity. Dil has GMed in the VHLM, VHLE, and VHL, joined the BOG, and has had 3 players successful individually and with their teams, but is now best known for his contributions to the league's recruitment and of course being the right-hand man on the portal, developing many of the newer features we see and use today. All in all, a strong resume for someone who only joined in S63.

Congratulations @v.2  and @Dil!
