VHL NHL 16 Sim

Alright, I finally have all the rosters done. I don't know where you guys want me to put this. My little test stuff I did was in the old thread in Off-Topic, so I'll throw this here as well. I'm going to go through with a round robin, where each team faces every team in their conference once. At the end of those 4 games per team, it'll go into a tournament seeded by how each team did in the round robin.

 

For what I'm doing, I'm going to have every team make the post-season, but the 1st place teams get a buy into the conference finals. I drew it out like this in the other thread:

I'm not going to have any kind of "schedule" for this, because of my work and how long it's taken me to get this thing ready, and also that it takes like 20 minutes per game to sim. That's a lot of games for this tourney. If I could set aside a time frame each day to do a bunch of games, then I'd throw this in VHL League Discussion and have a thing going, but because it's all under my schedule, I'm keeping it here.

Yeah, basically I'm going to create every player on every VHL team, then use the roster moves screen to move all of our guys into a team's lineup, then put in our lines according to the sim file. Just want to know if any of you have any specific team that you think works best for your team. Obviously, creating will take some time, as will roster moves, as will line changes. The lines are the worst part, because of the stupid NHL 16/17/18 edit lines screen. It was way easier on PS3/360.

 

 

Although separately, I'm thinking of maybe just doing a signup thread where anyone who wants in I'll create their player, then randomize teams and place each on an All-Star team or something. Then do like a 4 team tourney.
