You can win 2 TPE by answering the 6 questions
(PS : @Beketov ❤️

1 - situations like this are always full of a lot of emotion. It's important to have some kind of support, some kind of escape, and I hope Beketov feels that from the VHL community.

2 - I wish I had an answer but I really don't.

3 - I'm proud of the team and mortified by my performance.

4 - Depends on the position. High scoring is always the pointzz mentality but I'm not doing that this time.

5 - horrifying. I am hoping the Sabres offer all of their Russians prospects a contract as purely a humanitarian measure.

6 - Wright, Slaf, Cooley, Nemec, Jiricek

(PS : @Beketov ❤️

1. Having recently gone through this myself, it's a difficult situation, and different people process grief differently. The biggest thing, though, is that loss brings families together, and that gathering often results in the best healing process.

2. I absolutely love them! Very sharp.

3. I feel like I should be better considering how good the team is around us, but we are winning games and in the thick of the hunt. If we want to be better, though, I'll need to be better.

4. From what I've seen, defense is king. Builds that don't utilize defense are bound to struggle.

5. As a Flyers fan, it especially sucks. This kid is really talented, and we were looking forward to seeing what he could do. Russia is clearly using this kid as an example, and it just sucks to see them using him as a pawn in their games.

6. CUTTER HYPE!! I'm really excited to see what he can do for the orange and the black!

You can win 2 TPE by answering the 6 questions

1. The very first scorer in team history? Unfortunately, the old indexes are lost to us, leaving a gray area in league history to verify that, but Mike Szatkowski is a legendary forward that the VHL award given to the league leader in points is named after.

2. In fact, Szatkowski was a major component of the Season 9 Toronto Legion, along with fellow future Hall of Famers Kevin Brooks, Jochen Walser, and Alex Gegeny, the first Legion team to win the Continental Cup.

3. As the goaltender, I am the very last line of defense for my team. It's my job to support the hard work of my teammates by keeping the puck out of the net. It's crucial for me to stymie the opponent's hard effort as well and demoralize them. If they don't believe they can score, they won't.

4. Armani Calamari @WildfireMicro would be my choice as one of the most resilient and determined players I've ever met. An afterthought in the Season 80 draft, all Armani has done is be the beating heart of this team on and off the ice. He hasn't gotten the respect he deserves around the league, but I know Armani will always give 110% when he's in front of me on the ice.

5. Absolutely! This is a good team, and a continually improving one. As long as we keep playing well and getting better, we will be a team no one wants to face in the playoffs.

6. The kid - and let's remember that, this is a kid, after all - got served a major helping of humble pie after having it fed to him by everyone he knows that he was going to be the first overall pick, then had to process sliding out of the top three picks on live television. It was a rough night, but it doesn’t take away from the skill that Shane Wright has, and I think he's going to mature into a great player.

You can win 2 TPE by answering the 6 questions

1 - Exactly what Doomsday said.

2 - The one year with the one guy.

3 - Defense, so stickchecking, hitting, shot blocking, and quick, simple breakout passes.

4 - I'm still getting to know all the members of the team, so I'll cop out and say Doomsday for GM of the Year.

5 - It certainly looks promising. I just want to keep improving and hopefully that's enough to get us over the hump.

6 - He says it was incidental, but that's one motivated young man. I'm expecting tremendous things from him this season.

1.  What Doomsday said.

2.  Season 9 started it all for Toronto

3.  As a centerman turned winger, its to support the defense and provide scoring chances, along with a strong forecheck.

4.  Probably Armani Calamari.  I'd give him a trophy for being the most random and chatty teammate.

5.  We could definitely, but we need to score more.  Scoring has dried up in recent seasons.

6.  Whatever.  The attitude/ego problem speaks for itself.

3. to the team, if they was not with a great team they wouldn’t be able to do that !

4. offenseeee, i think the more offense you create, the best chances to win you have!

1 - MVP easily. It's going to be tough with a shutdown defenseman, but that would make it even better.

2 - I'd rather a lonely discord locker room because everyone is chatting on-site.

3 - Our offense is all about balance. It's hard to defend against a team that attacks in waves.

4 - No offense, 1 in physical play, 4 in defense. ;)

5 - Success is success, regardless of how ugly the form is. 😆

6 - Breathe. Honestly at that point there's nothing else you can do. I was on a ridiculously turbulent flight from Philly one time in a little crop duster of a plane. It was terrifying, but I was already in there and wasn't at the controls, so there was nothing I could do about it.

1. I'll take the Slobodzian because it'll be mine soon enough anyway

2. Both can be pretty fun but anywhere in the middle would be even better!

3. Being smart

4. Spreading the lines out and keeping the team strategies defensive

5. It's improved a lot the past few seasons and now he can cover the whole net, as long as the chances are down Lindbergh will be a brickwall for many seasons

6. Just watched Escape Room so looking for clues or a key xD

Posting for @Agito this week!

1. Asides from the Continental Cup, my goal is to win the Aidan Shaw Trophy as the top goaltender in the VHL. It's named after a legendary player who played here in Toronto, so I think it would be extra special for a Legion goaltender to win that award.

2. What fun is winning if there's no one to enjoy it with? All you need to make a run is a respectable season, so if I have an active core good enough to make the playoffs, we can hit another gear there and win it all.

3. These three got where they are today with one shared trait: hard work. They've trained hard, overcome a lot, and it doesn't hurt that they're all skilled hockey players. They're point leaders for this team because everything they've experienced in their careers has made them the players that they are.

4. Know your opponent. Know what they're good at, disrupt that, and do what you can to prevent them from doing the same to you.

5. I'm pretty happy with how well I've played, but the best part of it is that I know I can be even better! I'm getting great support from my teammates up front, and I'm doing everything I can to keep the team in every game we play. It's something that has worked very well for us, and if we can maintain this level of play, we're in great shape this season.

6. I put my trust into the pilot and the crew of the aircraft, as they are experienced and trained for situations like this. It's not much different to me than trusting the defensemen to be where they need to be to protect me, like how they trust me to back them up and reward their hard work with a stop.

1.  I have a Stolzschweiger already, but an MVP or top scorer would be nice, but I think that's a tall proposition.

2.  Manage the best of both those worlds at the same time to get the ideal situation.

3.  I think our defense is improved so we can play up and down the ice instead of being bottled up in our own zone.  We create some chances but haven't really scored often.

4.  High-pace, high-scoring chance generation hockey.  We can't ever win if we don't outscore the other team.  We have won too many low-scoring, tight games to be comfortable.

5.  He's been the team MVP so far.  He's kept it close too many times and has stolen games for us.  For me personally he's the team MVP this season, we owe him some nights off.

6.  All you can do is breathe and try to remain calm, really.  Turbulence is frightening for some, annoying for others.  It's all perspective.

1. I think je really can reach the top 5! That would be awesome

2. I don’t really know but anything can be good just need to find the right fit

3. Yeah for sure because some teams will downgrade and some will upgrade

4. The season looks good, I don’t play now but I’m really excited to join them when I’ll be ready

5. flames win at 100%, they give a really good player but they received a guy that is for me the same talent+ a top 4 D-man and a 1st pick

6. it’s really bad.. I’m from Canada and I hope all the verity will be said and we could take a new step

1. I wouldn't be shocked to see him be a top five scorer at this point. He's just shy of 700 career points and Atreides just doesn't look like he intends to stop racking up the points anytime soon.

2. As in, a sponsorship? I imagine striking a deal with Tim Horton's would be very lucrative for both sides. There's a link to Toronto hockey in Horton, and Toronto loves their Tim's.

3. Not at all, I'm confident in the team we have. We all we got, we all we need.

4. I feel pretty good, honestly. It seems like overall scoring is down, but our defensive play is greatly improved, and our offense is much more balanced. It's crazy when you think about it, but this season's team might actually be better suited to win in the playoffs.

5. I think the Panthers had to be pretty confident that Huberdeau wasn't coming back after this season, and got someone who will be sticking around in Tkachuk. Hope Florida's plan works out, because they could really be in trouble if that team fizzles out considering they won't have a first round pick for several years. The Flames did very well for themselves, I'd say.

6. It's an absolute disaster. If something actually did happen, then those responsible need to be held accountable. As a Flyers fan, the possibility that Carter Hart could be involved in this would just be the cherry on top of the shit sundae this off-season has been for us.

1 - I expect Paul to be a top 5 scorer when the season is over.

2 - I am also going to interpret this as a sponsorship question, but I'm gonna go the other way and say I want the Legion to sponsor a number of youth hockey camps in the GTA.

3 - Nah, we good fam.

4 - We seem to go through hot and cold streaks more than I remember on most teams that I've been on. It seems like playoffs will be a coin flip for us.

5 - I think Florida made a big mistake.

6 - Shameful, embarrassing, disgusting, abhorrent. Keep it going.

1.  A top 10 finish would be great for him

2.  Tim hortons coffee.  Mmm, coffee...

3.  I really dont think so.  Trade deadline deals aren't that common anymore, so sticking with our guys is a usual habit.

4.  Offense has been lacking, but defense has been good.

5.  Good for Calgary!  They got themselves out of a jam

6.  Who knows anymore... I wonder what took so long for this to come out and why it did at this time.  Wonder what happened in 1983, 87, 92, 95, 99, 05, 08, 12, etc... will there be allegations for every single year now?

1. It went well, but at the same time, it was very frustrating. It felt like there were too many games where I let my teammates down, and it didn't particularly sit well with me.

2. There were some games where, as a team, we just took too many penalties. I'm guilty too, leading the VHL in penalty minutes as a goalie. I felt we were usually well-disciplined, but when we weren't, it really got out of hand for us.

3. We should win all six of them!! That momentum would be fantastic for us heading into the playoffs!

4. Very much, I'm very happy with my development, and now I'm at the stage where I'll be preparing for the inevitable regression.

5. Bill Russell might just be the greatest winner in the history of sports. He was absolutely dominant, and the amount of championship banners that hang in Boston that were won during his career is simply incredible. The sports world truly lost a great in Bill Russell.

6. I don't think it's much different from any other vice: failing to control your urges will destroy you. Gambling is seeing a big rise in popularity, especially through sports, and folks really need to be responsible with it.

1. Damn cant even answer this one, spent the season over in Europe

2. Maybe if Busser was in the line up ;) - Don't really see much that can be improved, maybe better line matching

3. Honestly didn't take a look so a wild guess.. Four

4. More than happy, it's been coming a lot easier for me and don't see why I cannot continue for the rest of my career

5. Don't really know much about Russell. R.I.P. to a legend!

6. Craziness. I get trying a scratch ticket or an odd night out at the casino but people who do it daily, weekly or even monthly is too costly in my opinion

1 - Two words: Rather disappointing. But I'm a rookie shut-down guy, so that's somewhat to be expected.

2 - Hard to say. I know I'm expecting more out of myself next season.

3 - It's a little late for me to answer this, so I'll pass.

4 - Yeah, not too bad, all things considered. I got my full 12 each week. Could have done better in fantasy at least.

5 - I'm not a basketball guy but I know that name. Sadly, that's about it.

6 - This is kind of a random question. People by nature tend toward some form of addiction, though, don't they?

1. It wasn't our best season, but I thought we had a shot heading into the playoffs.

2.  Maybe we play too much puck possession and don't shoot enough.  We got outshot more often than not.  We are confident but it maybe too confident... I don't know.

3.  I hoped we would have gone in on a hot streak, but things didn't turn out the way I had hoped.

4.  I think I did average at best.  It's alright I'm satisfied with that.

5.  He didn't get a fair shake for what he accomplished, and I'm not a fan of basketball.

6.  I don't know what to think when talking about gambling addiction.  There are way too many lines being crossed.
