My individual presentation is doing good although with a little bit of luck we could've won some more tight games but all well it doesn't really matter right now

At least 10 games, after that I have usually found my rhythm

My puck handling to be able to be the ultimate puck protector

 

4. How are you enjoying the VHLE so far? Or paying any attention at all?

 

I have not payed attention to it at all if I'm going to be honest

 

5. What's your favorite thing to do around Helsinki?

 

Easily to ski

1) Probably being a AGM or GM but I just don't think I'd have the time to give.

2) AGM probably, but I'm to familiar with all the jobs.

3) He's matched his points from last season already in almost half the games so pretty good.

I don't really have one but I have always loved watching Ryan Reynolds movies and he owns a soccer team in England which is a dream of mine.

Id say an introvert but I will let my play on the ice do the talking

Dark blue, definitely not baby blue.

Hits, I play a physical style of hcokey and pride myself on making big hits to change momentum of a game.  As a defensive player blocks would be great but that means we are stuck in our zone too much.

 

6) What do you think is the best award to win?

 

Playoff MVP.  I want to win as many cups as possible and to help my team with a MVP performance would be the greatest award.

Just seeing what Brodeur did between the pipes when he was at his prime was astounding. No matter who else was on the Devils, you didn't want to face them.

 

2) Who is your non-sports related idol?

Lucky the Leprechaun has become synonymous with Lucky Charms in a way that pretenders like Count Chocula could never dream of. There's so much marshmellow-y goodness in every bite.

 

3) Do you think of yourself as an introvert or extrovert?

More of an introvert. Being a ghost can be pretty lonely at times, but even then, sometimes you just need a little time to yourself. I'm glad I'm not the opposite, honestly.

Navy, or as dark of a blue as you can get. It's easier for ghosts to hide in the shadows that way.

 

5) If you could lead the league in one category, what would it be?

Penalty minutes. Everybody likes goalie fights, and if there was a way to drop the gloves more often, I'd take advantage.

Much more of a dog person. I don't need side eye when I'm just trying to lace up my skates, thank you very much Mr. Cat.

1. huh, I would like to say Joe Thornton or Patrick Marleau but goalie is my favorite position so probably Mike Smith?

3-0-2, Had a pretty good comeback yesterday.

If it would simply be changing my profession, then sure, it'd be fun. But I wouldn't want to lose my family and friends, or how I was brought up. So depends how much has changed.

I'm a believer that experience actually does mean something in the playoffs, STHS be damned. Chicago's got a bunch of veterans who have been here before, believe they take it.

Not a big soup person in general, but spent some time in the Boston area and man, did I have a lot of New England clam chowder there. I miss it.

Used to do pit crew for a semi-pro race team, doing fuel and general mechanic stuff. Far different than my actual day job these days, but enjoyed it.

I'd like to think that any first liner in an NHL team would absolutely demolish the league back when Gretzky played, the amount of things people can do now that they could do when he played is insane, for example if someone like mcdavid played back then the defensemen would simply have no chance, he is simply too good and has too many Deje options for that times defense.  Same with if you'd put Gretzky in today's league.  He would for sure be good but no where near mcdavid or Ovechkin good.

1. Well even though I never saw play probably Gretzky XD

2. Well I don't know if we'll ever see someone hit 200 point totals again unless scoring returns to how it was in the 80's but even if not I still think a player could come along that is better than 99.

Right now? Well I just watched Connor McDavid go through like 15 players and score a goal the other day, that's a nice start.

 

2) Will anyone ever be better than Gretzky?

Not by raw stats, because it'll be tough to get that sort of separation. But the skill level as a whole only continues to rise, so I wouldn't be surprised to see a player as fundamentally talented.

 

3) What is the worst thing a teammate can do?

Probably murder another teammate. I mean, that's generally my answer for a lot of "worst" things, I think it's tough to top.

 

4) How do you feel about the future of the VHL?

I think it's as strong right now as it's been in a long while, which is a great testament to VHL leadership and what they've put together here.

 

5) Guess how many players you will have when your time in the VHL is over?

6, maybe? I'm on number 5 right now, and I think it'd be fun to have a player around for Season 100. But that'll probably be it for me.

1) Well, everyone's favorite AGM is sick. Would you rather be bedridden for a day and then be fine, or be kinda sick for a full week?

 

One day, after that day you'll forget about it, if you are kinda sick for a week you lose all energy and that's much worse imo.

 

 

 

2) What is your go-to comfort food and/or activity while you are sick?

 

 Pizza and hockey never fails.

 

3) What is your least favorite symptom to have while sick?

 

 Filled nose, impossible to breathe normally.

 I'd say so, monopoly is always fun or a trivia game wouldn't fail me either

 Really make sure you want those people on your team.  The last thing we'd want is to trade them

Less, not by a large margain but since there's one more draft happening there won't be as much hype.  But there is still plenty of hype for it

As someone who literally came up COVID-positive last week, being sick for the whole week isn't great. Just get it overwith by me.

I did a whole lot of mindless video games, especially sports video games. Something where I don't really have to concentrate on anything is great.

 

3) What is your least favorite symptom to have while sick?

I didn't have it last week, but nausea sucks. Just feeling unsettled constantly like that is the worst.

Love board games, have a bunch of them. We've been on a Ticket to Ride kick with friends recently, including other maps like the Europe one.

 

5) Looking forward to the draft, Helsinki is looking pretty stacked at picks. What do you think the priorities should be? 

Glad that we have them! Offense has to be the priority, especially at the top of the draft. We've built from the back out, but need more people to put the puck in the net.

 

6) Now that there is another league (VHLE), do you think the VHL draft has more or less meaning?

Don't think it's changed much, honestly. If anything, I hope that it ultimately helps by keeping people in that middle zone more active for when they eventually hit the VHL.
