Well, everyone's favorite AGM is sick. Would you rather be bedridden for a day and then be fine, or be kinda sick for a full week?

In bed for a full day sleeping than suffering for a week.

 

 

2) What is your go-to comfort food and/or activity while you are sick?

 

Watching something on tv and if I feel too crapy but on sports talk radio and drift in and out of sleep.

 

 

 

3) What is your least favorite symptom to have while sick?

Post nasal drip sucks as it makes it harder to sleep and therefore harder to get better 

 

 

4) Are you a board game person? What's your favorite?

 

My favourite would be risk although rarely play that one anymore.  With covid haven't played games in awhile .

 

 

5) Looking forward to the draft, Helsinki is looking pretty stacked at picks. What do you think the priorities should be? 

 

 Some offense I'd say mostly  and maybe another dman. We got a good goalie last year.

 

6) Now that there is another league (VHLE), do you think the VHL draft has more or less meaning?

 

I don't think it's changed much just means guys will get here a season or two later than before

1. The amount of ties for awards was a little ridiculous. But it goes to show just how skilled everyone is. 

2. I am excited to be a part of this prospect pool. Hopefully we can turn this franchise's fortunes around.

3. To develop into VHL player by seasons end.

4. We have the prospect pool to contend in the future. Wait one season to see who is for real.

5. An interesting question. The ability to move as fast as my faulty mind can even if it just situational is too appealing to me.

6. I haven't done any hockey training irl. The key to training in any sport is consistency. Putting in the hard work each and every day.

I feel like there should be ties for some awards. There are some cases where there needs to be a clear winner.

I'm excited to join the team. I now have a goal to strive for.

Further develop and actually make the VHL

Develop into a cup contender and begin chasing a dynasty

I mean, the world is 70% water so it's turbo travel all the time if you can swim that fast.

Having mits is great, but play recognition is forgotten about. That's what really separates good from great.

I did not pay much attention to them to be honest. Congrats to the winners and those nominated.

Lets hope the GM actually puts effort in to building this team up to where it once was. What he has done since taking over is nothing notable. Hard to be motivated to want to play for him.

3) What are your goals for you player this season?

have a great season with Istanbul and challenge for a cup.

Returning Helsinki to a competitive club.

swim as fast as a motorboat. Flying is cool

but at such a low speed it seems pointless.

A good system and building up good chemistry in the group.

It got me 3 prediction points, which seems better than average. So I'm not going to argue.

Welcome to everybody new! We're going to have a very strong team here shortly, and I'm excited to see what the future holds. I think it's bright.

 

3) What are your goals for you player this season?

I just don't want to fall flat on my face. Rookie years as a goalie are never easy, but I want to prove that I belong in this league.

 

4) What do you think our team goals should be?

I think it's one more growing year to be honest, before really going for it starting next season. So I wouldn't mind a bit of experimentation to see what our best lines look like.

How often are you really around water? But if you could float, that's something that's really unique. I'm taking that one.

Dedication. All the skills and proper training techniques don't mean a thing if you don't get off your ass to do it. You've got to put your all in every time you train.

3. Point per game, try to finish above 56% on faceoffs.

4. Near or in the playoffs, I agree with what someone said in the Titans discord that we could surprise some people this season. Just making the post season would be enough, wouldn't expect a deep run or anything.

3. First full season in the VHL, hope to do what I can.

Without a doubt Christmas

Coffee, drink Nespresso mostly.

 

3) Do you think it's easier to build a team via the draft or via free agency?

The draft is probably best as it's cheaper and free agents may want to win so you have to build through the draft first.

I don't really listen to them but my wife has been into calm down with Erin Andrews and Carissa Thompson and it's good if you're a football fan 

 

5) Why is Helsinki the best team in the VHL?

 

Have good group of young players and prospects from the past draft so as a rookie it will be great to grow with them.

I don't think we are the worse but the reason would be that we don't have enough experience yet but it will com

I've always been a Christmas person, for the time off and being able to spend it with family and friends as much as anything. Everybody's happy and joyful.

Neither really, honestly a diet coke person if I need a caffeine fix. I've been drinking tea more recently though, there's something calming about it, which I enjoy. 

 

3) Do you think it's easier to build a team via the draft or via free agency?

I'm in for the full rebuild, give me a tear down and draft picks. I think it's the best way to build something truly sustainable as well.

 

4) Do you have any podcast recommendations?

I'm big into comedy podcasts in general, life's too short by making myself angry listening to a political podcast or otherwise. All Fantasy Everything is a fun one for people here - they do fantasy drafts, but of inane things like the Taco Bell menu (a great episode to start on).

 

5) Why is Helsinki the best team in the VHL?

It's got the best core for the future, so maybe it's not top of the standings right now, but I'd bet it has the best overall success in the '80s if you polled me right now.

 

6) Why is Helsinki the worst team in the VHL? 

Because this question was clearly written by a hater who's jealous of our success. There's no other option.

Watching TFC lose the MLS Cup final in penalties after a goalless game in the freezing cold at BMO stadium.

I'll say 5th and in the play-in. This team is built to get better as the season goes on, and I think we'll do exactly that.

Since coming to the Titans, Johnston has brought a new energy to the Titans first line. It's easy to see what type of talent he is from the jump.

 

3) What is your favorite team logo in the league?

If we're including the VHLE in this, my answer is Vasteras. Yes, I'm saying this just to make people angry. No, I will not take further questions.

 

4) If you could rebrand any team, what would it be and why?

My honest answer is that I wouldn't rebrand any team, because I think history is important as a differentiator in a league like this and sets a bad precedent. With that said though, Americans is a dumb name.

 

5) What is your worst sports memory?

I currently live in Minnesota, grew up in Philadelphia pre-2008, and am a Northwestern alum. There are good sports memories?

 

6) What is your best sports memory?

With the above said, being in Notre Dame stadium to watch Northwestern football come back to win in 2014 was pretty sweet. Northwestern's Gator Bowl win a season later was also sweet - don't remember that one as well though due to Mr. Jack Daniels.

Live with the in-laws while our house is being renovated so having my wife aunt and uncle here .

Yes I think I may have missed one

1. Gonna have to say no on that, they are good in hot coco though.
