54. Maybe some more general questions, I found when I used to do PCs it wasn't always great to focus on current team events. More general questions make it easier to answer if somebody is doing the PC a bit late.

55. It really depends on this FA class, the bears have a lot of picks and could make something big happen there too. Bana's always been great at that kind of stuff so I don't expect a bad season at all.

1. Hard to say since it does need to stay focused on the VHL for the most part right? I guess fun locations to expand to and such.

60. According to Bojo we are playing the wolves first game so I would beat up Leduc. I wanted him on the bears so now that he's not I want to beat him up.

1. How was your Christmas/Holiday season? What did you get up to?

It was lovely. Visited my family and my "in-laws," and spent much of it just chilling. I avoided being stranded in the arctic too, so that was pretty rad.

 

3. If you got a gift, which was the best/most memorable?

My ma and pa got me a Traegar BBQ/smoker, so I'm looking forward to becoming a REAL MAN this Spring/Summer.

 

4. What are your thoughts on Vancouver winning the cup?

That's good for them, they were a really good, well-built team. I would have preferred to see Prague win in the finals, but them's the breaks!

 

5. What are your thoughts on Nesbitt extending with the Bears? @AW13

That was great for everyone involved! Seattle secures having one of, if not the best defensive core in the league, and keeps y'all competitive going into the season!

 

6.Who are some players the Bears should be looking at for 7th and 8th overall in the draft?

Kronchy Kardashian would be a very solid pick if he makes it that far. Garsh is reliable and fun. Logan Foley brings in WildfireMicro, who is always a very active locker room presence, y'all would jive well.

 

7. What's something good going on in your life right now?

My girlfriend finally just got spinal surgery after a year of having a pretty severe herneated disc. The three weeks leading up to the surgery she was barely able to move, and had far worse mobility and quality of life than a paraplegic. The surgery went well though, and I'm finally hopeful she'll be able to get back to a place of relative normal sooner than later!

3. As a GM, one of my favorite players of all time @JetsGoalie101sent over some gold plated shades that I have encased on my mantle presently.

5. He is great but the Seattle fans will cheer louder when they get Lampi signed long term.

1. How was your Christmas/Holiday season? What did you get up to?

It wasn’t very good when I was sick, but I’m grateful that I was able to take place in the Charity Drive when I started to recover.

 

2. What was the best food you ate over the holiday season?

Chinese~ I haven’t had it from a good restaurant in 2 years so it was an amazing treat for New Years?

 

3. If you got a gift, which was the best/most memorable?

I got my sons a play set of cars and tracks, with towers and garages! I have been having a blast with the boys and watching them open their gifts!! (even if we were all sick lol)

 

4. What are your thoughts on Vancouver winning the cup?

As a former Wolves Captain with Jimmy Spyro, it makes me a little happy to see their success, but nowhere near as happy as I will be when we win the cup here in Seattle!!

 

5. What are your thoughts on Nesbitt extending with the Bears? @AW13

This excites me because now I’ll have a chance to be on the same team as an old friend of mine! Ash Sparks is incredibly hyped with how the starting line up is looking this season, especially knowing one of the star players in Nesbitt chose to extend here of their own volition.

 

6.Who are some players the Bears should be looking at for 7th and 8th overall in the draft?

Ash Sparks has been very critical in himself, and he has made this holiday break count to refresh his mentality and focus between the pipes. He is very eager to play at least 10 games for the Bears, and make a solid impact when he his called upon.

Awesome! Any time I get to spend time with my extended family is a breath of fresh air. Always have a blast.

It had to be sweet potato marshmallow casserole. Absolutely unreal when I tried it for the first time.

 

3. If you got a gift, which was the best/most memorable?

My best friend got me a signed Mike Tyson glove. He was hinting at getting me something nice and I genuinely had no idea what it was. I can't wait to put it in a display box next to my TV.

I HATE Vancouver! We can't let this happen again. Let's go win one.

Heck yeah! Obviously last season didn't meet our expectations, but keeping a player like Nesbitt is crucial if we want to find success in the next couple seasons.

Well that's out of the window now that we have the 4th overall pick. I really want AJ's player Randy Bobandy if he drops. Please fall to us!

Well we needed someone to replace DeGroot. It's gonna be tough to replace that production, but I still believe we can make some noise next season.

 

11. What are your thoughts on Seattle drafting Randy Bobandy 4th overall?

I'm stoked! I expect Randy to be a star very soon.

 

12. What are your thoughts on the Seattle roster heading into the season?

We have a good mix of young and old. Even if we struggle right off the bat I think we could push for a playoff spot towards the end of the season. 

 

13. Ash Sparks will be learning behind Dusty Wilson this season. For a first bonding experience, what did the two do together?

They got absolutely plastered at a local bar in Seattle. 

 

14. Who, if any, do you think should be team captains this season?

Dusty carries us so I'm gonna go with Dusty, Hogan and Chip. Would be pretty cool if I got it, but I just wanna win. Everything else is just a bonus.

 

15. The Bears got a new team mascot. What is it and what is their name?

It's a Florida man. I'm joking, but wouldn't that be great? It's a bear and its name is Grizz because I have no creativity.
