Don't know them well, hope everything works out for them.

2. Are you satisfied with our S79 draft selections?

To be honest I wasn't paying attention, I think they'll pay off though.

3. We could really use some help at defense, do you think its something that will hurt us a lot if we can't find someone?

I think it will leave a pretty big gap, yes.

4. I've seen some guys putting us as the victory cup winner in their predictions, are you confident about the coming season?

We'll have to see what happens going forward. I think we need another 1st line defenseman.

5. What is your thought about Carey Price being unprotected by the habs? (this is bullshit!!! Yes I'm mad about it)

I think it's a bold move/they probably have a side deal going on.

6. We are at the middle of the summer season, do you think autumn arrive too fast?

Absolutely, I didn't really get to enjoy summer that much.

1c. I am currently playing with the Hounds and as you may know we have a very very good team, so i don't really mind who i am playing with. I will be happy to play with anyone as long as we win.

2. I did a lot of watercraft.

3. I was often in the gym and on the ice, but i was mostly watching sequences of last year's game to see what i was doing wrong and to improve my game.

4. Italy, there is a lot of history in this country

5. I would say home made food, it is always better.

To be honest I didn't have much interaction. Dom I think can step into his role pretty well.

Hit training camp hard, trying to work on using a big frame.

I think we should be higher in the standing but we have had some inconsistent play this season from a lot of different players and now have a morale hit so might be hard to turn around completely. It was looking bleak for a while towards the play-offs and I was think I was going to have to go all Riga in the sims pages. But trust the process, trust the managers and team mates; we will pull through at some point even if it is next season or the year after etc... 

 

2. Who is better, Brayden Point or Elias Pettersson?

This is hard to answer in a non-bias way since I am a Vancouver Canuck fan so I am always going to lean towards Pettersson but if I had to choice a player I think I would take Point over Pettersson since experience and health is more in Points' favor at this moment. Pettersson is still simply a lot of upside and still is very much unproven so I hope Vancouver offers him a three-four year bridge deal around $6m to 7M per season with options after he proves himself more that he is worth the $10M per season. (Off topic but I hope the trade Quinn Hughes as he is a turn over machine and cost them in their own end yet Van fans only see the points he produces which mainly come from the PP so he is not worth what he is ask. Bridge deal of even a $4-5M is risk from the way I see him play. But I am also a big believer in prove yourself and take less then you are worth as team is more important then one player.

3. Which do you like more, Cats or Dogs? Do you have any pets?

This is like a three parter? Do I have any pets? No, I don't but I would like to get a dog to walk twice a day to force my fat ass out the door for walks. What do I like more? Both have pros & cons as I have had both in the past so I tend to lean towards a cat since they couldn't careless about you unless you don't feed them. A dog needs so much attention it like having a second wife or child.

4. Your a winger in the NHL, who are would be the perfect line mates?

No such thing!! Considering when I played forward I was a two way forward that drop hard to the net and back checked myself into my own net half the time type of player. I had offensive flare but wasn't good at dangling so I either drove through some one or passed around them. I needed a player that could dangle but also drive the net so I am thinking of players that have skill but are more hard nose players so like a Bo Horvat and Tkachuk brothers. But we would also need a sniper on the line to produce the goals as we create the chances so I am going with Malkin. Ideally you would want a playmaker, grinder/power forward with a sniper or Three grinder/power forward type players that are hard to play against in all areas of the ice.

5. Who do you think will win the Stanley Cup next season?

Too early to say with all the changes but Team that didn't change that much like Tampa, Islanders, Dallas, Minnesota and Vegas are all contenders still but Winnipeg looks way better on paper then last season. I also feel like a lot of team didn't improve or didn't improve enough. Chicago would be a dark horse as they are better but how much better considering the division that they are playing in; they might even have a hard time making the play-off and could still be bottom of their division depending on how things play-out.

As a AGM myself doing question now, I know how hard they are to create even when you have a hundred different question you could ask so I think they are good as long as you get us responding. Should you be fired? As an AGM you have no rights so are you really in a position to be fired? LOL

3. Not sure, I'll say the QMJHL since Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand played there.

Yes, But it is very hard to follow the NFL while in Japan so I don't think I know what has happened for the past three or four years since moving here. Brady was traded or something but still won or something like that. I haven't seen the VHL fantasy football league and I don't think I would be very good at it due to where I love at the moment.

GM all the way since you make all the calls about the players and the whole team. Having been a manager before in real life I can tell you it is a lot easier being the boss then being manager, supervisor stuck in the middle trying to get the employee to actually perform to the standards that the boss wants.

Interesting fact. I have played in two out of the three leagues in Canada. All three are also completely different from each other as the WHL has long trips, big tough defensive minded hockey. Ontario is more two way hockey very local with short trips and QMJHL is offensive minded with mid-length trips depending on where you are playing. I found the QMJHL tougher as tender to play in then I did when I played in the WHL but the schedule in the WHL was very tough.

 

4. What do you think about your VHL player's performance so far?

He has been very much himself this season; inconsistent as usually but lately he has been on fire with multiple point game over the past week and only one single point game up until today when he finally didn't collect a point. But it has been bitter sweet since we as a team have been very inconsistent at the moment without being able to string together a group of wins. It has been a tough season but I hope it changes when the play-off start.

 

5. Do you usually participate in the VHL theme week's?

Yes, I actually look forward to them due to the extra TPE that I can earn for my player. I also like being challenged to create new ideas for TPE so it is a nice change for the week to week core that TPE earning can create at times.

 

6. What would you choose are your jersey number if you were in the NHL?

When I first started playing jersey numbers were assigned based on position so you didn't have much choice. When I played defense I was given the number 3 and when I played forward I was given number 9. As a Tender you are always given either 1, 30, 31 or 33. So the first year when I was given the chance and a bit of a joke with my coach and team mates I choose number 3 as I could handle the puck well and was referred to as the third defender. This was due to the fact that I didn't switch to playing tender until I was Peewee age and I was just as good at playing out if not better. So I split time between tending, defense and forward. In Juniors the number are assigned to you as a rookie so I wore a ton of different numbers from 20, 30, 31, 33, 37, 47 but a lot of the time my numbers were already assigned as I was coming up out of Bantam or Midget to play for short period of time. First time I was allowed to pick my two favorite numbers 37 & 47 were already taken by the two starting tenders so I was defaulted to 33, which is one of least favorite numbers. If was given the chance to choose a number now I would pick either 37 (Which is 10 but 10 looks funny on a goalie so I picked 37) or I would pick 67 just because I don't think anyone has really ever worn that number in the NHL to date let a lone a tender.

1. I hope they both re-sign, and I think they will.

2. Malmo has been on fire all season, the Bears have been for ten seasons or so. It would be cool to see Malmo get it but in a way I want Seattle to win another.

3. Yeah, it will be fun to see how it all plays out for sure. 

4. With the 7th pick I would pick up a goaltender for the future, and it looks like a Prague legend could be available 

5. I definitely can't wait to get back out there and improve.

1.) I’m no fortune teller but I know @diamond_ace possess a silver tongue, I don’t know a person he can’t charm into wanting to be on his team. They would have to be some kind of monster!

2.) Seattle: so-we can keep up the story that teams that get rid of venus tend to win cups and i wanna see @Jubo get a cup!

3.)no, it’s probably exciting for those entering it but i personally am not invested.

4.) always nab a C or a D man literally you can’t go wrong.

5.) Venus works hard and plays harder, there is no off season just prep for next year’s domination!

I hope everyone signs and that we can fix some of the teams issues from last year but that being said if Bouchard can fire off like he did towards the end of the season then we should have a good chance again at the playoffs.

Malmo and yes I am a bit late since Malmo have already won the cup. I would love to see a different team win every season if Prague isn't winning it.

Nope, Since I am still focus on the VHL and trying to bring Prague a championship. After that my focus is in the VHLM with Yukon as we hope to make a run this season if Dom can draft the right players and I stop setting our scouting department on fire!! LOL!!

Depends on whom is available at that spot but as a team I think we are starting to transition towards the dreaded rebuild soon but with no picks really this year and limited picks next year at some the team will need to decide to trade way assets to restock the cupboards with picks for season 82 draft class. Would love to see Dooms drafted at 7 but I think he might go higher to Toronto if they don't take Josh instead. Sadly by the trade deadline it might be time to trade Dom and Bouch for futures but I also hold out hope that FA might be rewarding and help bridge the gap for another season or two.

Can't wait to get back out there type all the way. This break has been killing me and we still have at least made the Wild card games every season I have played here so cannot imagine missing the playoffs as it might force an early retirement with all the extra time on hand to think about the maybe and the could haves.

I'm 50/50 on each, have history with both.

 

Yes.. although its a bit stressful at the moment. 

 

Probably trade it for a young player who has a season or two under their belt already.

I am honestly ecstatic for all the new opportunities it will add for new players and people to make an impact.
