1. Today is the trade deadline and we completely revamped the defense. Do you think our newfound depth will be important moving forward?

I hope so as in part of that new defense and depth.   

 

 

2. About 17 people created players so far today. Your thoughts?

 

I am one of those players and I'm excited to start a new career here in Saskatoon.  Hopefully it will end in a cup like my previous player here.

 

 

 

3. Do any of you plan to spend time in the VHLE if given the opportunity?

 

Yes, my player is European and would love to play a season or so in Europe.

 

 

4. Who wins the series between the Canadiens and Golden Knights?

 

Vegas will win.  With a username like mine I will always go against the habs.

 

 

5. We need just 3 points to clinch a playoff spot. Do you think this roster has championship potential?

 

Yes i think so.  One of the reasons I signed here is there is a chance at a cup and icetime .

 

6. What did you do over the weekend?

 

Went to see a house on Friday that was terrible and then had to take my 6 month old son to walk in clinic Saturday but thankfully he was ok and then relaxed on Sunday.

It's a new league that was created with the purpose of being a bridge between the M and the VHL. Hasn't started yet but it will after next season.

Tattoo is inspired by a wrestler who passed away last year at 22 years old (the last name of my current player, as well), but it's just like a generic unknown woman, didn't use her likeness, because I felt it would've been weird. 1. I think it's gonna be the difference. Our new additions have been contributing right away so it's nice to see

2. Not too many big names I don't think but I think that'll make it a very front heavy draft for the VHL

3. I would hope not, as I've always had the "VHL or bust" mentality but whatever happens just happens i guess

4. My heart says Fuck the Habs and I want them to win but my head says Vegas

5. It's going to depend on the blue line additions to carry us over the hump. It'll be tough to leapfrog the top teams but with our new players I think we can do it

1.yes depth is huge especially in a long playoff series this could definitely help us a lot

Well considering I'm one of those newfound players, I say of course. This team is hungry, we play for one another, and we'll only continue to get better going forward.

I think it's great that more people are creating players every day. New people equals more competition. No job is safe so if you want your job, you are going to have to work hard for it.

I'll play for anyone that gives me a chance. I was fortunate enough to get that opportunity with the Wild and I would do it again in the VHLE.

 

4. Who wins the series between the Canadiens and Golden Knights?

 

As of right now, Montreal leads the series 2-1 but I'm still going with Vegas. They had the game won until a major mistake happened so I think they'll come back stronger.

Of course we are, we got the whole blend of playmaking forwards, shutdown D men, and a goalie that can steal you multiple games in a playoff series. As a team, we just have to play our game and trust one another.

1. I was not here all season but we killed it at the end

2. Not sure, maybe a real blowout victory could spark the boys. Obviously it's a sim so not great chances but a huge game from a rookie or something could get us going

1. Hey, we made the playoffs. I was only able to contribute at the tail end but I hope it was enough.

2. We have to want it more. At this stage, there isn't a better motivator than lifting that VHLM Championship trophy.

3. I signed with a team I enjoyed playing for and had a great first season.

4. It's going to be interesting how the dispersal draft shakes out. I hope that I can make a return to Sasky, but we'll see. I'm down to play anywhere.

5. I run cross-country and track.

6. Naw I have not. Don't really play MC that often.

1. I got here at the end of the season but I thought we finished strong. Have to carry that same momentum into next season.

2. It isn't a series until the home team loses. They won their games at home. Now let's go win our home games.

3. My mentality is to make it as difficult as possible for the other team. My play was nothing too crazy. Just have to keep doing my job and that job is to not allow anything easy.

4. I'm looking to become more of a factor for my team by training and putting in the work in the offseason.

5. I used to play basketball when I was younger.

I just joined, so I don't know about the whole season, but we finished strong even though we didn't get the ending we wished for.

Well, we already lost, sooooooo.

Not really, I'm just getting started. Getting my first goal and point was pretty much the only thing I could've done on a personal-level.

1. What league do you think you'll be playing in next season? - VHLM, with my sights set on the VHLE for Season 80.

 

2. Is your player in any offseason tournaments? - Not this season, but I imagine next offseason will be a different story. 

 

3. Honest question, do you think the VHLE will be a success? - I do, as I believe it will help streamline the league into a more appropriate development curve. The VHLM will be able to function as the developmental league it's designed to be, and the VHLE will mean that players that reach the VHL will be much better prepared to succeed there. 

 

4. What is your favorite flavor of wings? (Buffalo, Terriyaki, etc.) - Buffalo all the way, but I do love me Garlic Parm as well. 

 

5. Who do you think has the best VHLE logo? - My personal favorite was the Berlin Steel with the Tiger I tank.

1. VHLM, no chance I make the jump to the bigs, since it's impossible
