From anyone trying to do maths at home

London gave a S77 3rd and a S78 2nd for King. Rest of the assets all went from Vancouver to Davos and vice versa.

Super stoked to have you onboard, @IamMOOSE. Let's get that bread

smh don't tell them, let people freak out over it.

Thanks for your time as a David; you'll be missed.

Also thanks to the others for the trade talks and good offers!

Definite underpayment for King although understandable given the circumstance.

I would even argue underpayment for Hornet but I'm old-fashioned.

A bit into negotiations on this one I started cringing at the time I asked you for a 1st+3rd for Davis. Guess that was a sign-and-trade though and you didn't have any competition so yours was the best return I could have gotten.

I still got a lot back in this one so I'm happy.

99% sure this would be the first time a GM was involved in a trade with their player, but wasn't either the team sending or receiving said player

make it a trivia question

Ylonen was passed around without Esso's consent a few times.

But was he directly involved in the trades? Like, here, McWolf is part of the 3-way deal, but Hornet was never London property

I got Ylonen from Davos while Esso was GM of NY, NY was not a party in the trade

I guess it was effectively a three-way when you consider that I traded for Ylonen, realized that trading for Ylonen was idiotic, and immediately traded him to you:

DAV receives:

Walter Clements

S73 PRG 2nd (I think)

NYA receives:

S73 DAV 2nd (I think)

PRG receives:

Joel Ylonen

Ironically the Prague 2nd ended up a few spots higher than the Davos one so it was a really roundabout and incredibly stupid way for me to move up in the draft for nothing...but I guess it worked.

Still though now that I'm thinking about it, Esso would be sending his player to Prague in this situation. So this doesn't really matter as he'd still be in the business of sending/receiving.

...though he was also traded around a ton with NY/Seattle/Calgary/back to Seattle/back to NY and I don't know the specifics of those deals.
