ESPN.MX - The Mexico City Kings are enjoying an amazing run of form as they approach the midway point of the season. With 12 wins in a row, they have charged up to 1st place in the standings and are aiming to solidify themselves at the top of the table. Some unsung heroes have been in the spotlight recently for Mexico. Magnus Verlander (@Jbeezy76) has been phenomenal on the top line, recently scoring his 1st career hat trick to prove he is the right man to be on that top line. Liam Fishcl (@linsangeles) has been another great player for the Kings over the course of this season. With 24 points in 28 games from the 3rd line he has added some much needed depth scoring that has been instrumental to Mexico's success. Kevin Wu (@kevinscix) has been an absolute stud on defence as well, with 42 blocked shots and 31 points he has been a force on both ends of the ice. If things continue to go this way, the Kings will certainly be challenging for 1st overall at the end of the season and will be hoping for a deep playoff run to go along with that.
