For the first time ever I have dropped in the draft to the 2nd round (in the modern era). While this is not surprising as I recreated in a popular class as well as started with less than maximum recreate TPE its still a weird feeling. Ever since my first ever player getting drafted with the last pick of the 2nd round (56 VHLM Draft) it has lit a fire under me which has caused me to constantly strive to get near the top of my class. Its a strange feeling to not being the #1 touted guy in a draft class. While this is something ill have to probably get used to since I am no longer who I once was, it still is weird. I liked being the guy that people traded up to get. One thing that is confusing me is that only two VHLM teams reached out to me for an interview? Is that something that's new or is that because people know what they get when they draft me (most of the time)? This is all new to me and it looks like I will have to prove myself once again why I should be at the top of the class. That's it incoherent rambling done.

Review: I listened to the whole thing and I find myself looking forward to the new episodes when they drop every week. The editing mixed with the casualness of the podcast makes it a more relaxing listen and while I'm working and listening that is exactly what I'm looking for. Id suggest for future episodes to look into all the things you missed while you were away from the league and see what cool events or big trades you might have missed. All in all I love these keep making them 8/10

Review: I love reading these articles. I wish more like these were made by every team since the draft is one of the best things (imo) about the VHL. It needs more eyes and I like to hear the explanations from each GM's perspective and why they picked who they did. All in all a great read and the added color and potential ratings were a good touch (even though they were a touch biased) Great read and solid everything 9/10

1. Draft was completed today as most might know as most will be joining our team today so Are you happy being selected by the Yukon Rush? (If returning are you happy returning to the team?) Yes I am! Yukon was one of the teams that actually reached out before the draft and has lots of players that I know very well. It will be a fun team to try to win another VHLM Cup with. 2. What do you think was the most surprising event during today's Draft? The trade for Hulk Hogan was surprising. Its unusual to see a trade so quickly after someone was drafted. 3. What are your expectations for the team this season? Finals at least and Cup hopefully. I would like to see Yukon be one of the best teams in the league we definitely have the fire power to get it done. 4. What are your expectations for your player this season? Id like to get close to 80 points. I think ill start on the 2nd line to start the season but eventually ill work my way up to those first line mins. 5. Who do you think will win the Founder's Cup this year? Founders cup is coming back to Yukon at the end of the season. 6. Riddle: It stalks the countryside with ears that cannot hear. What is it? Wind? oh Corn.. I would have never gotten that one.

Tmr we will lose affiliation and someone will convince Josh to go hard on trivia answer sharing! Congrats Josh you have gone from the background to the face. Hopefully your run is a little better than mine was!

Blade is very nice but vicious when cornered /thread

Gm's all getting burnt out I feel your pain and I held on way longer than I should have and it ruined my VHL experience for awhile. If you have to take a break its 100% worth it and don't hang on longer than you need to. I regret not stepping back from my roles earlier because I left messier than I should have. Here's hoping you can stick around

This but imo we need more variety in the ways in which we can earn TPE this could be an easy one. Especially if built into the portal and things linked to the forums. Then some of the clickers that never leave the portal might visit the forums.

It's been a few seasons since I've last been drafted. This is the first character I've created that hasn't had max carryover in a very long time and that has pushed me pretty far down the draft board. That combined with my bout of inactivity will most likely slide me down the draft. This might be the very first time I've been drafted outside of the top 5 which was my first player ever (Keaton Louth). Currently on the draft board I'm ranked 24th by TPE. That would slot me into the late 2nd round early third round rage which is a very intriguing prospect. Its an entire new career to be the player that is a later round pick that works their way up back to the front of the VHL Draft rankings. I believe with my previous activity levels that it might boost me a little up the draft board but with the recent turn over of the VHLM and its GM's who knows what General Managers remember or were here for it.
