They lineup on the VHLSC headquarters in Las Vegas every year for their chance to sponsor this media piece. Last year it was an honour to have Mr. Slider's Home Lubrication as our sponsor.
I think for me there are a few things that separate them. Personal awards with more weight in the league, save percentage and less games.
Shutouts are like the shutouts by a Defensive backfield. Yes its sweet when they don't allow any points in games, but if they are against the Browns its not much of a feat haha
If you're going by shutouts to determine your vote, we are in for a rough debate. Brian Boucher was an average goaltender in the NHL, he had 6 shutouts in a row, but no one will tell you he was a great goalie.
To me shutouts is an added stat but not needed in the debate. Awards is tough because of the era they may have come from. Top Rookie can mean a very weak class too.
Stevo does this thing call the Mufasa. He cuts a tiny cut in both your thumbs and he forces you to wipe your thumbs below his eyes to make you look like Simba. It's sick and its very disturbing. Worst of all I tried going to a shrink for the issues it gave me, but Dr. Timon just made me remind myself of the reason I was there!!
Why? Congrats to you too because you deserve it. I think you think I'm upset you won. I've won that award before so its not bad someone new got the trophy. Congrats man!
