After your first round selections - which surprised me - your rise above Mexico was both fun to witness and fuel for me to bug Motzaburger that Mexico kept falling and falling in the standings. Good luck next season, Hounds! Now for my guys... obviously I have to start with @Elmebeck. You are a fantastic AGM that is arguably the breath of life for the team and locker room. You're inclusiveness, passion, presence and commitment to the players on the team will make you a great GM in the future. Saskatoon was insanely dominant this year, a year which the VHL will remember as Saskatoon's season. Season sixty nine (haha, nice) goes down in the record book - on the VHLM index anyway - as the strongest season ever by any single VHLM team. Congratulations, everyone, you all deserved this.

1. Very happy. No, wait... There is no words to describe how I feel this season went, truthfully. I'm overjoyed. 2. I'm hoping it's a team that'll go down in the record books for years as one of the best VHLM teams ever. 4 (3). Non't jinx us! 8 (4). I'll be spending as much time as possible with my family. 9 (5). One of my goals in 2020 is to buy a used vehicle - relatively new still - so I can replace my 2004 Chevy Impala and recently sold 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan (sold for parts). 10 (6). Yes, yes we will.

Let's break it down! (1) SASKATOON WILD vs. (8) YUKON RUSH FORWARDS: When comparing only forwards between the two teams, it's clearly Saskatoon that has the advantage, but like the popular saying goes... "Were it so easy." We know that any team in the post-season has a moderate chance to win the championship, and if we look back to season sixty three when the dreadfully outclassed Ottawa Lynx beat the Las Vegas Aces in the semi-final round, we can then begun to understand that anything can happen in the post season. Did you know that Ottawa won one of those games with less than ten shots? It's true, look it up. Just because Saskatoon's forwards are dominant in a direct comparison doesn't mean they're going to dominate... but it could. We have to remember history, because if we forget it, we are doomed to repeat it. Saskatoon is led by forwards like Mikko Lahtinen, Ondrej Ohradka, Killy Foilen, Edu Stava, Jesse Nyman, and Dagmar Havlova. Meanwhile on the other side of the rink is the Rush, who are in turn lead by forwards Magnum, Spaz and Rushmore. DEFENSE: The Saskatoon defensive core is no longer the top in the league with the development of Mexico's top four being similar quality to others, however against the Yukon Rush, there really is no comparison to be made. Alex Armstrong will do his best in this series, but he's the only comparable defender to the likes of DeYeeto, Encarnation and OQuinn from the Wild. GOALIES: Well... there is no comparison. Unfortunately the Rush will be forced to use an inactive goaltender, and sadly this might be the reason they lose.
