  1. I actually believe that Magnum will be a stud once he forms a line with Graves and Killinger, @Corco. Killinger is that typical two way forward with ton of strength, or so I hope. Magnum will be the checker, going in and getting pucks on the line. Graves is that pure passer, who will be racking in assists feeding the puck to yourself and Killinger. I'm quite excited about it! I'll try my best to get you an enjoyable rookie season with Magnum, too!
  2. *Deep exhale* Alright Bana calmed me down, so I apologize for the above. I still don’t support Dil in this position after what he’s done I’m the past - most recently with Calgary - but I’m deciding to let go of the darkness to see the light here. You ha e your opportunity, Dil. Please don’t squander it.
  3. Precisely, especially over some of the applicants.
  4. Only if you made a stupid decision.
  5. HOUSTON, TEXAS -- Erik Killinger has finally arrived in Houston after a lengthy legal process of acquiring the proper papers to earn a living in the VHLM out of the United States of America. Lots of forms, lots of documents, the proper visa's and passport information from Canada has all been filed, approved, and the flight left Saskatoon in the morning. The Bull's equipment manager picked him up from the airport to help transport his gear from the George Bush International Airport to the rink, where they were greeted by a few reporters as they made their way through the arena. The Fan 590 got an opportunity to get a short but exclusive interview with the first overall draft pick. We asked how the flight was and got the typical 'it was alright' response most people give. It's kinda true, nothing fantastic happens on a plane, certainly nothing worth while enough to share a story about... unless of course you're in a plane that is eventually made a movie of, or the wrong side of a Reddit post on r/entitled or something like that. He did add 'it was a long one' shortly after though, and explained his hold overs at other airports. It wasn't a direct flight to Houston, he made three stops on the way and transferred planes once. We only had a few minutes with Killinger, so we simply asked him if he was excited to join the Houston Bulls. "Absolutely," Killinger smirked. "I spoke with Mr. Frost earlier before the draft and knew I would be getting selected with the first pick, their first pick, and was pretty excited at the time to be selected by Houston. I think most of that excitement is gone, and now I'm ready to work hard and bring Houston the hardware they drafted me for. He (Frost) told me a few of his plans, so I think Houston has a real shot at claiming the championship this season."
  6. @Beketov Please let me know when you get TOR G in the lineup, I'd like to send lines in before the sims start (I can't send them without). Appreciate it!
  7. Will you be the one to end the Davos never good meme?
  8. Gustavo was kille- wait, wrong topic.
  9. This was a 'Wild' season to end my VHLM GM career on! I'll always remember winning S69.... 'cause 69.
  10. It's not all about TPE! Ain't saying Toronto makes the playoffs, but I have confidence we'll be better than Davos.
  11. He's not on the farm, not scratches, and doesn't show on on the index on Toronto's roster. Must have been removed by accident, but that wouldn't have been my doing (I haven't done Toronto's lines since the playoffs started).
  12. Nope, just RIFT and TOR G. TOR G won us a few games, even. Appreciate it, thank you!
  13. @Beketov Toronto's missing an CPU G. Can't create lineups without it.
  14. New season about to start, new set of questions to answer: 1. Toronto has changed significantly in less than a week after Peace was awarded the Legion from Devise How would you analyze his moves, additions and asset management? 2. Who - in your opinion (including yourself) - is Toronto’s top three prospects? 3. We’ve got a lot of inactive bodies taking up roster spots this season, but the majority of them are on expiring contracts. Which inactive players do you think should return for another season in Toronto? 4. Who do you think will lead Toronto in points at the mid way mark of the season? 5. If there is anyone most likely to win an award at the end of the season on Toronto, who is most likely to win it? 6. Where do you think Toronto will finish in the standings?
  15. It's important to note here that's as much as it's about retention, this specific segment (playing active players over inactive players) is actually governed by a rule for VHLM GMs. There are exceptions to the rule periodically made, but generally the whole 'inactive over active' thing is strictly enforced, and GMs have been warned and even released (*cough*) for breaking this rule. The job of a VHLM GM is to grow the community - not in the sense of adding players to the league - but developing new players into members here on VHL.
  16. And this one only retired once!
