    I really enjoyed when fishy was closing up and archiving old discussions and it went well until they left.

     

    If you really want I can just add a script that does the following:

     

    1) after a week of inactivity it marks a post as going to be archived if no one says anything

    2) after an additional inactive week it archives it.

    3) if someone marks it as resolved it archives it.

     

    I don't really see the need for manually handling it, we should ideally only be having like a handful of simultaneous discussions.

    Removing them would increase cap space on bad teams, also allows us to implement a cap floor in the future resulting in those teams picking up more of those active FAs we've been talking about. Removing bonuses doesn't stop GMs from offering the minimum and having it bumped every season... doesn't break anything.

     

    Biggest of all for me is that bonuses don't provide any value or enjoyment. If a player needs money for their career plan/purchases, they should ask for it in negotiations.. not be surprised with it as an afterthought. Not that it matters very much but... it's also not very realistic.

    I propose we remove the ability to apply bonuses during a contract. Pretty sure I've brought this up before but it was in combination with a few other ideas and never went forward.

     

    This does NOT impact a team from offering more money upfront, exclusively stops them from spending all of their remaining cap room on players already on their roster.

    @VHLM GM Sims start Wednesday!

     

    All lines will need to be submitted to me by using the Team Management section of the portal. Please make sure to grab the most recent client file before setting your lines up! Also ensure you have the most up to date version of the STHS Client (I believe it's version 3.3.6 at the moment). Waivers and trades will be processed before each sim so PLEASE ensure you update your lines to remove traded players and are messaging me your waiver placements. If trades result in invalid lines and I have no instructions, I will be using the partial auto generated lines to fix it.

     

    Please keep all communication about your lines in Discord DMs. 

     

    I'll be streaming using this YouTube channel and providing links in Discord before each sim. Refer to the #roles channel for instructions on how to be notified.

    I can't unclick the depreciation button. The calendar also specifies the time on the 9th that the cutoff occurred (12 PM EST). Luckily it only works out to 24 TPA that you lost.

    The cutoff for buying the fighters was when I did depreciation on the 9th, I believe you purchased them later that day. Unfortunately due to the new depreciation format it's much harder to redo depreciation and allow late fighters.

     

    I'll decline the purchases for now.
