Hello Everyone, 
 
Hope you all have had a good regular season. Now that its the post season it is time for the GM's of the WJC to be picked and start the process so that this years tournament will be a great one. Please message in this topic and we will get you an application sent in a timely manner. No need to fret if you have experience or not, this is one of the best ways to get experience. If you have any questions we will do our best to answer them to the best of our ability.
 
Requirements of Role:
Choose a full team, including 9 F, 4 D, and 2 G, based on nationality (spreadsheet will be provided) Lead the team in all aspects - activity on the forum, engaging with your players in the LR & the other teams in the WJC LR, Articles, Graphics, etc. Let's really make these experiences for all members a fun one! Submit lines for each game using STHS.

Important Notes:
GM Pay will be 2 CAPPED TPE per week for the whole tournament. NO GM or STHS experience is required. Similar to the player aspects of learning and being part of something, the same applies for the Gm position. This is an excellent opportunity to learn managing and the program we use for the GM's and lines; STHS. If you are an experienced member and want to help someone learn, are a new member looking for assistance, or are simply looking to have a sidekick, you are welcome to hire an AGM.  
How to Apply:
Post in this thread stating your interest, as well as the team or teams that you would be interested in managing. If you wish to include something else, you're more than welcome to. Once we give enough time for members to apply, we will hold discussions on the candidates and then send out applications VIA private messages to each individual who is being considered for this season's tournament.

The main problem is establishing what the actual one people agreed on when there were a lot of different options.
 
So, to establish a consensus which probably already exists, here’s what I’m thinking makes the most sense:
 
- In relation to theme and other doubles weeks job pay of 6+ counts as a PT meaning if you wish to use it instead of a PT to claim a theme week that’s fine. However in replacing a PT it replaces any option of a PT. That means you cannot claim theme week off of pay and also welfare. That would be two distinctly different “PT’s” which is not allowed.
 
- In relation to normal weeks Job Pay is just looked at as 6 TPE, not a “PT replacement” and can be used however someone wishes. If they want it to be their PT, that’s fine. If they want it to be their supplemental tasks, that’s fine. This includes being able to claim welfare. Ultimately that makes the job pay equal to someone doing the supplemental tasks which seems fair.

Basically there’s no reason to overthink the “PT replacement” thing. That is an option, not a requirement, and mostly exists so that people who have the hardest jobs in the league don’t have to do an extra PT or give up the bonuses everyone else gets. In a regular week just look at job pay as capped TPE, not any kind of “replacement.” Make sense? @BOG

Hey Dad
 
 This is Armani speaking. How are you? I am doing well personally. Sweden is a beautiful country and the people there can speak English relatively well. I love thier meatballs too and I found an amazing restaurant for them. Anyways I know that you are finally going to try dating again and I think that is great! I know that moving on from Mom's death has been extremely hard, but I think she would want you to at least try to move amd find someone nice to talk to now that I have moved out. You can't just talk about hockey with Mr.Simon next door forever!
 
 Anyways, I hope to be in a position where we can have a video chat soon. It's even extremely busy lately with practice and games that I have not found the time. I haven't checked the standings in a while, but I think we are at least close to the top of the standings. When I eventually get called up I'll be looking forward to talking to you again. Be sure to save me some maple syrup for then! Now the coach is trying to get my attention for the next meeting so I have to bounce. I'll email you again soon!

Armani Calamari has had quite a busy week. He was drafted with the 18th pick by the Toronto Legion and then was notified that he was drafted in the 8th round by the Vasteras Iron Eagles. Despite the surprise that he was drafted so late, Armani does not seem to be worrying too much about it. He is currently planning on getting on a plane towards Sweden, but we managed to get this statement from him:
 
"Honestly the VHLE draft results did not bother me too much. I was actually talking to my dad while we ate some waffles when I was notified. I am just excited for the opportunity to play for a new team in a brand new league. After I get done in Sweden I can head back to Toronto to show my stuff to the Legion faithful. It's all extremely exciting"
 
The hype surrounding the European league is definitely exciting and we will hopefully be able to provide updates from Armani's performance in the E. And hey, if he loves waffles, Sweden is full of them and is famous for it. We wish Armani a lot of luck in his upcoming games in Europe!

I like Flex the most.
