  1. Btw since your next weeks schedule has opened up a bit what will Dahlberg be up to maybe some practice could help?
  2. I mean Gebauer has 182TPE and is 6 points over Gucci Garrop but otherwise nice article
  3. Mark Gebauer Center Goals Points
  4. 1. This season's Themed Point Task had you write or make a graphic about the upcoming Sponsor's Shield Tournament and the brands that will compete in it. (if you are associated with a brand) Which brand do you think has the best roster? UB games since its my team but to be honest its probably not. 2. What would you like next season's theme to be? Maybe something about the World Cup. 3. Who has your vote for the VHLM's MVP so far in this season? I would say probably Brick Wahl but the playoffs will be a major factor. 4. If you had the choice between every job possible in the league, which one would you do? (you can say none if you want to only be a player, it is fine) GM must be a lot of work but it I think I would have loads of fun. 5. I am going to release a mock draft early next week. Let's put you up with the same task; who will be the first 4 picks of the draft? 1st pick (DAV) Zabby 2nd pick (NYA) Sullivan 3rd pick (HSK) Brick 4th pick (NYA from TOR) Gebauer 6. Do you read the weekly Newsletter? Is this stuff interesting for you? Yes its incredibly useful
  5. "Well I am a bit anxious of the playoffs, to be honest I mean I am used to high-pressure situations but the recent trade and being this being my first playoffs in the league kinda change the entire dynamic a bit for me. I really hope that I will be able to perform on my best level but I have been practicing and I think it has been paying off in the more recent games. I feel more confident than ever and that is a big part of what helps me keep my game on a good level but I am by no means an ice cold veteran that plays like this was a practice scrimmage if you know what i mean. I am also confident in my team i have stellar guys around me that keep me motivated and that play fantastic hockey and a player like Brick in the net does also help a great deal so I would say I am ready for the playoffs and I just hope we can make our coaching staff proud and rewards ourselves for the hard work that we put in during the entire season."
  6. After being traded from Ottawa Mark Gebauer was headed for one of the leagues strongest teams, the Saskatoon Wild. Even though the distance is immense with a travel time of over 6 hours and more than 2900km Gebauer immediately seemed to fit into his new environment. When his trade was made public there were some opinions on it as always but most agreed that this move would be beneficial for both teams, in the long run, the only ones that looked at it with dismay were Saskatoons rivals that hated seeing them getting their hands on one of the highest scoring centers in the league. Gebauer seemed happy about the trade when asked about it in press conferences the only downer is that he missed a couple of games before he was able to start since he first had to do some in depth medical tests. Gebauer was feared to have injured his left ankle in practice and showed signs of being over worked and therefore the staff decided to keep him out for a couple of games which now looking at it with hindsight might have changed their playoff position. Since Gebauer is on the lineup the Saskatoon wild, which has only been the case for the past nine games, he has scored 8 Goals and also racked up 6 assists. This shows that Gebauer definitely found his way into the team and is now an integral part of it. In his game against his former team, he has not been holding back either scoring twice and having another 2 assists. He seems to be working well with his linemates and also possess an ability to score in clutch situations such as overtime. If we take a look into the future and try to see where Saskatoon will end up in the playoffs its hard to not see them as one of the top teams but on the other hand the competition is fierce and even with Gebauer they lost games against Halifax and Las Vegas which might be a bad omen when considering that they most likely will face each other at some point in the tournament. Personally, I believe Saskatoon will end up no lower than the 3rd place but they have a real chance at winning it all and it is kinda dependent on how well the players on each team develope as much as how lucky each team is on a given day. Gebauers personal future seems to be looking bright he has been shooting up the rankings and probably will be drafted in the first round and will be heading to the VHL quite soon but that is in the further in the future and it is more important to try and win the playoffs at the moment. His personal performance in the playoffs might play an important part in when he will be picked and therefore with what team he will end up so it is important for him to give everything now and play to the best of his abilities, but nothing else should be the goal for any hockey player before any game.

  9. Review: I hope you will be making more of these. This is dope as hell and it has a retro vibe that i like a lot. The only thing that could improve the graphic if the UB logo fit a bit more naturally on the jersey but that is very hard to do and I think having it like this doesnt make the graphic less awesome. Great Job!
  10. Review: The logo fits into the graphic nicely and i think you choose a great picture of your player. The lens flare is an effect i personally dont like so much but you make it work giving Joel a kind of shiny look which I like. I just think the Font is too plain to go with such a great graphic and i would try finding something that matches the Jolt Juice Font.
  11. Review: Great mashup and idea between player and brand graphic (also why do goalies have the dopest graphics) the colours fit very well and I also like the way you arranged them making people focusing on the player naturally by following the flow of the Graphic.
  12. Review (Logo): The logo is well done and seems like a nice Team Logo but I don't quite see the connection between jolt juice and the crusades I would maybe change it according to the brand a bit. If the team was called the crusaders it would be dope but sadly its not.
  13. Review: The background seems a bit plain maybe you could add some cracks into the black so that it is not a solid colour but you already did a lot with the fire effects that make this look really good already. I like the pose of the player since its giving the entire piece movement and makes it look really active. Well done!
  14. Review: I think this banner could use some more work in terms of editing for example I would like to see them wearing some hockey jerseys (or something at all for that matter) but as a joke it is okay. Anyway contact gebauer when you have a party next time.
  15. Review: Another outstanding graphic from you. I really like the spare use of colours to make the brand which this whole thing is kinda about pop while having a sleek but still interesting background. Great design 10/10 no regrets.
  16. Review: It is a nice graphic and I really like the background and the effects as well. The logos also are placed nicely even though I would consider making the VHL one a bit transparent or less flashy. I only have one complaint which is the font of the letters it seems pretty plain and if you would change it to something else that might elevate the entire graphic.
  17. 1. The World Junior Championship medal round just started, what do you believe the top 3 will look like at the end of it? It ended already so for me it was a great experience and I am proud of team world and how we did even if I had distant hopes of a medal 2. There are still important games to be played, but who should be named the World Junior Championship Most Valuable Player, in your opinion? Its hard to say in my opinion I would maybe award it to a veteran or a rookie that might not normally make it and played above their level. 3. The Yukon Rush were the first team to clinch a VHLM playoff spot, with their 76 points in 52 games. Do you believe any team can compete with them come playoffs time? Saskatoon has made moves and they are looking stronger than ever. 4. The S64 VHLM Draft Rankings were just released: (if you are eligible for this draft) In what round do you believe you will be selected? I think I might be selected in the first round if I am eligible. 5. What aspect of your game have you been training the most, recently? Well scoring is a big part of my game so i just have been grinding that lately. 6. Were you surprised by the announcement that Tagger was stepping down from the Recruitment Crew? Give a grade from 1 to 10 to McWolf, his replacement (wrong answers only). NO WHAT?! this is a definite McWolf/10 move
  18. "I will be happy to be playing for UB games and also the biggest part for me is to test myself against the top players of the league. The tournament is for fun in the first place of course but I would be lying if i said i don really want to dangle past some of those VHL defenders that have been making fun of me for being undrafted and playing in the minors but well we will see how it all turns out, in the end, it also is about representing the Brand that we signed with and I am more than happy to be doing so. UB games was part of my childhood as I have always been playing video games until late at night to the dismay of my parents if I might add but still I have fond memories of it and to this day I sometimes turn on my YKick270 to play some games on it but now it is just an issue of not having enough time to do so but if I am in the next edition ill buy it for sure just to be able and show that to my friends and family and tell them that it was worth the time i spend playing late at night."
  19. As of today young German center, Mark Gebauer has signed a contract with UB Games to be part of their team and represent the Brand. This was overshadowed by him also moving from Ottawa to Saskatoon but we are going to focus on UB games first and what that moves means for the upcoming prospect. First of all Mark can be happy to be receiving any kind of endorsement money since he was unsigned so far but it is bittersweet since he is one of the lowest paid players in the Team as well as the league in general even though he has been putting up numbers in Ottawa and has proven himself to be one of the top prospects and future draft picks. Playing on UB games allows Mark Gebauer to play side to side with some of the leagues biggest talents such as Gabriel McAlister, Jaspar Canmore and Edwin Preencarnation, these 3 are the most stacked line in the entire sponsorship shield tournament and will for sure be making a lot of noise the question only is if there is enough depth in the other lines to keep up with the opponents and let these three players be the force that wins the game. Norris Stopko one of the best if goalies the league has will be sharing the net with Brick Wahl the goalie with an attitude who is also part of Marks new team in Saskatoon, and for sure is a welcome face to see back in the net making his incredible saves, this gives UB incredible strength at the goalie position which might enable them to win close games by just having their incredible goalies stop some normally guaranteed goals which will allow them to edge out the win. All in all Mark can be happy to be playing for UB since he will have a chance to learn from the best and mingle with the starts and his low salary should not be the main focus when evaluating what he is getting out of this deal but rather the fun times and the experience he will gather along the way. He has already expressed that he is happy about this opportunity and he sees it as a step in a process to become a better more well-rounded player in the future and that he is happy to share the ice with legendary Gabriel McAllister before he retires. The other move that has had people talking is Mark Gebauer leaving Ottawa. Ottawa sadly won't be a real contender in the playoffs this year as they are just lacking veteran players at the moment but since they got Mark without spending anything on him it was incredible what they were able to get out of having found this prospect and maybe even though mark won't be wearing their jersey anymore he might be responsible for ushering in a new era in Ottawa by allowing them to become a dominant force through the next draft. We talked to Mark after the trade was made public and hew as very sad that he had to leave behind Ottawa and all the great friends that he has there but he is also more than happy to be heading into his future and hopes to continue scoring.

  21. I am still kinda hoping the Ottawa prospect end up together it would make for an awesome storyline in my eyes.
  22. Also its the dark horse coming out of nowhere rewarding its fans with premium hockey content server by none other than Piotr Jerwa and friends, soooo if good hockey with nice storylines makes you angry then don't follow team world. In all seriousness though all the teams this WJC are great to root for in my opinion.
  23. Team world has been having a decent run so far in the world cup junior but they were heading into their game against the USA with limited hopes. Nathan N quickly made the hearts of any team world fan beat a bit quicker by giving them a 1:0 advantage after just four minutes, but this lasted only for so long as USA was able to convert a power play to tie the game and the teams left the ice with the game being tied. Team World and USA were battling each other to take the lead in the second period and Team world was able to edge out the lead when Piotr Jerwa sends the puck flying into the net of Team USA and allowed team World to head into the locker room with high hopes. Team USA was now forced to try everything to score and tie the game but Nathan N was able to capitalize on the empty net and scored the last goal of the season making the win perfect for team world. Piotr Jerwa has been having a great tournament being 3rd in goals scored and 5th in total points and he might be leading team world to a miracle run that no one saw coming.
  24. After winning the championship last year Ottawa new they had to rely on their new recruits since many of their former star players got called up to the majors and this shows in the standings with Ottawa being second last in the league with only twentytwo wins. On the other side of the same coin, this also promises Ottawa a great future since many of their prospects have been developing at a great pace and have been starting to make some noise in the VHML. First of course is Elias Dahlberg who is playing out of his mind topping the league in scoring and one of the players with the most assists. Elias sure is one of the brightest stars the VHML has to offer at the moment and he is a substantial reason for Ottawas hopes. Finn Davidson is also shaping up to become a future top goalie and has been steadily working on his fundamentals. The two centres Chance Mathews and Mark Gebauer are also cornerstones of the Ottawa offence and if they pick up the pace to match Elias Dahlberg then maybe Ottawa might suddenly become a force to be reckoned with.
