I'm very interested to see the numbers. I'm very interested to see someone else do the work and figure out how one of lower teams in the league, shot up so much during the season, and stole the show in the playoffs. What can be controlled. What does it mean. Does it mean anything? Can one team start out "so bad" and "get stacked" and then "moonshot" to the Founders Cup? This past season, I started too late, I could have come out the gate with high ratings, leaving me open and familiar to "rising tide lifts all ships" my teammates. I tried to help out as the weeks came closer to the playoffs. To hit as many 200 TPE players as possible. I wonder what things looked like inside OTTs dressing room. Sharing images, sharing ideas, helping others hit capped TPE. I know Tagger did an amazing job for solo artists out there. But I wonder if, at all, the success of the Lynx, were part in parcle to their educated/familiar/what have you members ... What was the official listing of teams, TPA totals, stats ... I wonder where to find that ... I can't help but be a bit baffled how they 4-0'ed HFX ... Although, I did see a theme amongst HFXers where they were purposefully capping themselves so they can start the VHLM and potentially hit insane numbers ... bit of an odd feat if you ask me, but hey, it's a free country ...

Yeah, that’s fine. It’s not a ton of work but 4 for 2 should be fine for a VHL.com. Just don’t try to use them for an actual PT.

I mean I do think Ottawa were the stronger team on paper, at least at the end of the season if not most of the second half. I think you guys benefitted early on from guys like Revchenko who came into the season with a bunch of TPE, whereas most of my guys were draftees and took the season to get there, but in the end we had enough guys get to a reasonable point that I do think we were moderately the stronger team (and would have been more so, had it not been for Trifecta retiring James and creating Axelsson, thus splitting his season's worth of TPE between two guys). Given not being able to add past 200, any advantage a Revchenko might have over a Wilinsky for example, during the season, is negligible at this stage. Do I think we were 4 games to 1 stronger? Probably not. A justified result would probably have been Ottawa in 6 or 7, or even Vegas in 7. Ottawa in 5 wasn't an unheard of result, but it probably wasn't exactly the perfect result for talent balance.

I never said it was rigged, and I mean the i hope the VHL is more stable as in WYSIWYG, and, since we can apply all tpe as tpa, hopefully we can get on a team that is active, I’m not sure where to look, but I’d be curiously to see the season head to head ott v LVA, because I just remember winning more games than losing 5-1. Closer to the end of the year, as ott may have signed FAs or made trades, or banded together as a team to hit tpe caps idk, I now realize I wasn’t looking at the right roster/stats so my expectation was “our team is so on par, why did we get rekt” but it’s probably more like LVA was the underdogs even against ott /shrug 

Our list doesn't have Ryan Kastelic, Bo Axelsson, Randoms, Jesse Wilson, or Milan Baros. It does have Jerome Mitchell, Braylon James, Hinga Dinga Durgen, and JP Desjardin who we don't still have.

I might be missing something but I don't think he ever tried to say it was rigged. Moreso that Vegas deserved to win (debatable) and didn't.

If Jubo ends up being GM, I'd like to apply to be AGM.

Do you like the idea of the wild-card game or would you prefer to see playoffs contested solely between the top 4 teams?

THE OSLO STORM MADE THE GRAVEST MISTAKE POSSIBLE WHEN THEY TRADED MOUNTAIN AWAY AFTER NOT PUBLICLY ANNOUNCING THEY DRAFTED MOUNTAIN TO BEGIN WITH. THE ONLY ROLE MOUNTAIN WISHES IS TO BURN THEM TO THE GROUND AND SHIT UPON THEIR ASHES.
 
4) If the role didn't go to you, which member would you like to see take over the Oslo Storm?

TPE has a tendency to mean more at lower amounts. The difference between 100 and 200 is substantial but once you’re talking 500 and 600 or 900 and 1000 it’s more or less inconsequential.

Jose Gonzalez announced Thursday afternoon that he will be opening three day hockey camp to help the young forwards in the Las Vegas region get more experience. He announced that any players aged 11-15 can come to this camp. This was announced soon after the extremely successful camp Alexander Pepper opened in the Las Vegas region. “I hope that the more involvement the team has in the community, the more young players will work hard enough to get to this level. I have already had 42 young children sign up, and I am hoping that we can get at least 200 in through this.” If Gonzalez keeps getting so many people sign up they might have to set up a second camp as they only have a licence to hold 345 kids that weekend. “I am hoping I can get a few of my teammates to join in on this, Pepper probably will, I am hoping Scott Shawinganen will join in, and of course we have to get Jubo in so he can coach them. If you have a kid that maybe interested you can sign up online and at City National Arena.

Jose Gonzalez was selected to represent team America, who has been performing extremely poorly at the WJC s62. Jose has also been impressive in the VHLM with 26 goals and 52 points in 46 games. He has played for the Las Vegas Aces who are currently in 3rd place behind Ottawa and Halifax. The United States has a record of 3-5. After their previous game with team ASIA we talked to Jose.

MEDIA: How are you doing today Jose?

JOSE: As good as you can do after a loss.
 
MEDIA: Can you give us some insight on why the United States is under performing?

JOSE: I think everyone is not playing well, I don't know what is going on.

MEDIA: Well you have been playing extremely poorly with just 2 goals in 8 games and 6 points in those same games what can you say?

JOSE: I think I came in here cocky. I came into this competition expecting to win and win big and it has hindered my performance.

MEDIA: Do you think this performance can show any insight into your future into the VHL and possibly the VHLM?
 
JOSE: I hope not... I have been playing extremely well and am currently the number one rookie ion the VHLM so I am hoping this just jet lag from traveling to Hong Kong.
 
MEDIA: Enough about your performance at the WJC, can we talk about your performance in the VHLM season this year?

JOSE: Of course.

MEDIA: With you being the current 2nd best rookie in the VHLM what are you thinking?

JOSE: Well it is to beat Julian of course. We are super competitive in practice and with everything so we are fighting hard to be the best.

MEDIA: With everyone predicting how the VHL draft with happen what are you thinking.

JOSE: To be honest, I haven't looked at any of those predictions. I will go off of what happens that fateful night, and hope that I gain my right into a hopeful future.

MEDIA: Are there any teams you are looking to be drafted by?

JOSE: I grew up being a Seattle fan so I am looking at Seattle, but anywhere in the US would be awesome.
 
MEDIA: With you being on a higher level team so long, is there anything that you are considering pet peeves or pregame rituals?

JOSE: I don't think so no, but I do for sure eat a steak before every game if you want to count that.

MEDIA: A huge story line going into this season was the Las Vegas picked two Las Vegas locals to play on their team and both have performed extremely well. Are you hoping to be drafted by the same team as Alexander in the VHL draft?

JOSE: Well of course I am, Alex and I go back a long way and playing for the same team in the VHLM has been a dream let alone the Aces.

So with the lack of simming, thanks @Higgins, we've been relegated to suckling on the teet that is the world juniors, spelling it out for word count points.
The tither tather of wishy washy performance has, me personally, slacking in the TPE department. My creative juices are being whipped with folks like @Enorama racking up maximum uncapped TPE via hof articles, watch out Gabriel McAllistar (sp?). But, what can ya do as a youngling right? You can just do what you can, hit the capped TPE, and roll with it, hope to be an impact player and perform within the shadow of these behemoths. Will uncapped TPE opportunities arise, will they be exploited and abused? Perhaps, but I guess that's anywhere you go, parity, alas. Here's an interesting tidbit, I'm writing this within the editor on the forum site, and I can't press the enter key .... I'd really much like to format this POS article for the three (3) people who will potentially read it ... But honestly, they're just here for the reviewing TPE since the trivia is fkin hard (for me). I want to see our team excel, but I would also rather a few games consistently than 5 games one day and then a 3 day break, bruv. Second of all, Europes "super star" Oilstain Revchokeblow is having a "career" year, after being torched by his VHL affiliate (seriously, who would draft this guy), he was relegated to the VHLM where he has been riding the coat tails of Borwinn and the other winger we have .... But on the world stage, when he's leaned on to be "the guy" it seems like he cant quite locate the top shelf where mama keeps the peanut butter, or the bottle of frenchies mustard for that matter. But what did you really expect? Something of substance? Go read an actual magazine. It's 379 words so far, and I had to copy paste it into a new tab into google docs, fml. 150x2 good for 4tpe, sure, I'm a hore(s).
