  4. Content: 3/3 Jesus, long article. I agree with Slobo that it does read strangely because of the constant switching between first and third person, but, for the most part I think you did a decent job of explaining why Brampton is so strong. I'm not going to dock you here, because I think you've put enough effort into the actual content of the article, despite the grammatical errors and how it reads. Grammar: .25/2 Slobo found them all. This was definitely a big step down from your last number of articles, unfortunately. Its mostly all stupid things, but they really added up in this one. If I had any advice for you, it would be to shorten up your articles and take your time. I'd rather read a 500 word article with perfect grammar/readability than a 2000 word article that isn't proofed enough. I believe quality over quantity is the kicker here. Appearance: 1/1 You have enough here. Overall: 4.25/6 FINAL: 4/6
  5. 6/6

  7. Content: 3/3 Nice article! It sounds like its a damn shame that you were never able to win a cup with Snijder. I understand your reasoning for hating Valiq, though. You went from a dominant player to an average player, which would be a huge adjustment for anyone to go through. Best of luck with Keeler. Grammar: 2/2 Just two stupid things: near = nearly 2 final season = two final seasons Appearance: 1/1 Looking good. Overall 6/6
  8. Content: 3/3 Really nice article here! Very interesting story about Hanz's career, and how Hudson and Hunter came to be. I would like to say I wish you luck in Brampton this season, but, as a Yukonian, I refuse! Hopefully both Hudson and Hunter can not only match what their father Hanz did, but surpass it by becoming stars in the big leagues. Grammar: 2/2 Only found one thing, good job! in a 6-0 loss = after a 6-0 loss Appearance: 1/1 Looks pretty good. I don't really like how new paragraphs start mid-sentence, but it still looks good. Overall: 6/6
  9. Season 38 VHL Entry Draft - Helsinki Titans The day of the VHL Entry Draft is always one of the most exciting times of the year, and this year was certainly no different. Each and every analyst report had wildly different predictions, keeping us on the edge of our seats to hear the next name that would be called. There is a lot to talk about in this draft, far too much to cover in this article, but today we will be zoning in on the Helsinki Titans. After winning the draft lottery, the Titans ended up with the first, third, seventh, fifteenth and nineteenth picks in the Season 38 VHL Entry Draft. The Titans draftees gettin' their pose on. Their first pick, which happened to be the first overall pick, was one that most analysts actually did agree on. Vojczek Svoboda is a Czech defenseman who dominated the VHLM with his heavy hits, quick feet, laser shot, and crisp pass. It was no surprise to anyone that he was drafted first overall to the Helsinki Titans. With their next pick, the third overall pick, the Titans chose to draft another top-tier defenseman: Don Draper. Draper only became a known name in the hockey world shortly prior to Season 37 when he announced his entrance to the VHLM. After a slow start, Draper quickly rose to be one of the most prominent players in the league. This pick, however, left many people wondering why Helsinki would use two first round picks to draft two defensemen, especially when they already had more of a defensive core than an offensive. Here is what GM Vince Wong had to say: “When you get a chance to add two guys with the drive that Svoboda and Draper have, you simply can’t pass that up. Their work ethic is priceless as far as I’m concerned. If our offense is lacking in the future, well, we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.” Now, this draft wasn't all about the defensemen for the Titans. With their third and final first round pick, seventh overall, the Titans picked up budding forward Chris Raymond. As the end of Season 37 approached, we saw Raymond’s practice hours skyrocket. He has proven that he has the enthusiasm and drive to be a top-tier forward in the VHL. Raymond is under the player agent Kachur, who has fielded many depth players in the past, but will certainly be looking to turn Raymond into a superstar. Chris Raymond logging some practice hours. Next up, at 15th overall, is Josh Bennett. Not much is known about Bennett at this time, but with any luck, he could become a good depth player for Helsinki in later years. With their final pick of the draft, 19th overall, the Titans opted for yet another defenseman; Ryan Barrett. However, unlike the first two defensemen they drafted, Barrett seem to be developing quite slowly and it’s questionable whether he will ever make it to the big leagues or not. Overall, I think this draft went really well for the Titans. They have put themselves in a position that allows all of their Season 38 draftees, with the exception of Svoboda, to continue developing in the minors for another season. If the players drafted this season develop into the players we expect them to be, the Titans will be a force to be reckoned with in future seasons.

Id be really interested in this job. I can be counted on to get the job done reliably, every week. I believe I'm one of the most active guys on this site currently and would love to get even more involved with the league. Also, I have a PC. I think thus far, with my grading job, I have proved I can be reliable to do the job I sign up for. I have worked with STHS a bit under the guidance of eaglesfan, so I do have some of the knowledge required for this. PS I know I currently have two jobs, but I am looking to pass on the surveying job to a newer member. And this something I am extremely interested in taking on.
  11. Content: 3/3 Nice interview! I know already said this when I graded your bio, but don't get discouraged at this. Even just from paying attention to what we mark down when we grade these, you'll be able to improve to 6/6 in no time at all. As Slobo said, welcome to the league and I hope you have a blast playing in Ottawa. Grammar: 1.25/2 First off all, good on you for reaching out and getting your work spell-checked. Obviously that means you care and are willing to go the extra mile to improve. As for grading, Slobo got all the errors. Appearance: 1/1 Looks good. Overall: 5.25/6 FINAL: 5/6
  12. This man knows whats up. Context: 3/3 Good as usual. You guys raise some really good points about the awards, and how they could potentially be compromised when people get put on the ballot that don't deserve to be. Team Merc fell to shit. Now..on to the draft.....thank you for giving me the honor of being the only nay! Professionalism: 2/2 Dissin' Don Draper really puts this down, but, I will give it to you. (: Editing: 1/1 Sounds good. Overall: 6/6

  21. Content: 3/3 Nicely done. I was looking forward to this after reading the North American one, and you didn't disappoint. You obviously put time into gathering information required to rank each city, so that is good. Davos sounds like a bad ass city and I now want to visit. Grammar: 2/2 Much better this time! though = through likely Vasteras = likely that Vasteras Appearance: 1/1 Looks good. Overall: 6/6
  22. Content: 3/3 548 words. Nicely written. First of all, good luck in Bern this season. There is definitely a big void left with the departure of World Peace and Blaine Olynick, some may question whether or not the rest of the Bern squad as it is will be able to fill it. Grammar: 2/2 Only found one thing, good job! Said AwfulHomesick on the trade = I don't really like how this was worded. It maybe should have been after the quote like, "...open arms.", said Bern GM AwfulHomesick. Appearance: 1/1 Looks alright. A title and maybe a picture somewhere in the middle would have made it great. Overall: 6/6
  23. Well the draft is going to be tonight around 8 or 8:30
