  9. D.C. DRAGONS PRESS CONFERENCE New season, another playoff push? Answer 3 for 1 TPE, Answer 6 for 2 1. GM Frostbeard recently said that he believes D.C. Dragons have the roster to contend for the 1st place in NA, what are you thoughts about that? 2. Team Captain VLG was recently seen discussing future plans with tabloid magazine journalists - as your teammate, has he told anyone about his future plans? 3. D.C. Dragons recently made a trade and acquired a starter goaltender from Riga, do you think that will help our team finally be considered true contenders? 4. Mark Calaway is strongly considered to be one of the best defencemen going into S93, how influential will he be for D.C Dragons this season? 5. What are your individual expectations going into S93? 6. Recently Ben Laas in an off-season press conference said that the hidden jem going into S93 for D.C. Dragons is Keegan Gamble, do you agree with that statement?
  10. Howdy Probably a bit of a chill Media Spot this time. Few things to talk about - firstly Grimgor, his time in VHLE, expectations for season with Helsinki, then about D.C. Dragons, the trade that brought in Henry Tucker Jr and my place in VHL now and going forward. Firstly, about Grimgor - really liking the character, love that fact that I can roleplay a character and I through that I don't feel bad about sometimes being an arse. That said, I know no one here actually would take any thrash talk seriously. I do have some serious expectations from this season, that also will influence my career in Helsinki - I am expecting 1st line time, if I do get that even in my first season, there is a chance in resigning after my rookie contract is over. I am also expecting to become a true hired gun with Grimgor at some point as I have always wanted to have FA experience. Secondly, about D.C. Dragons. I feel like we are in a really good spot going into S93. Honestly, I really feel strong about our players, roster, sure, don't know what S93 will bring in terms of chemistry on ice but we can for sure work with that and the goal is to get to playoffs, prove that D.C. squad has what it takes to win some serious playoff games. I do have to say, I did rush the rebuild a bit too quickly but then again, have had lots of fun with our team, have lovely on the team so that is incredibly huge thing. The biggest gap in our roster of course was our missing goaltender and having a chance to acquire and resign Henry Tucker Jr. was absolutely massive. Now we have a true starter for 2 seasons. I am incredibly excited to see ourselves on ice. I know, there probably will be a ton of people doubting D.C. but I have full faith in our team. Thirdly, the more I think about it, the more I understand that Grimgor might be my last player in VHL. At least for a while. This is my 4th one and I feel I am getting to a nice point where I can go and rest for few seasons. Will that include me stepping from D.C. Dragons GM position? I am not yet sure, I do love D.C. Dragons, I love the team and people there but will just need to wait and see how it goes. I am looking forward to seeing that S100 for VHL, for sure it is going to be absolutely magical. I do like number 104, that might be a season to return? Well, whatever happens, we shall see. I am still fully commited to see my player finish a strong career and still do my duties to my full capacity in D.C. I am a little bit excited about recruitment drive for VHL, always happy to help new people in the VHL, hopefully quite a few will stick around and have fun with all of us! Well, in any case, that is it - a small media spot to talk about what matters to me right now.

Welcome @NSG to D.C. Dragons! Let's make it a good one! @hedgehog337 Lai veicas, paldies par maiņas darījumu! @Nykonax Good luck in Riga!
  13. 1. We're entering the home stretch now, with the Vikings winning three of four games against the Bratislava Watchmen to pull four points ahead of their threat to a playoff spot. What's your confidence level heading into this week's match-ups? Bwaaaagh! It iz da time for smashing e'? GO AND DO BIG SMASHES! Da Green Big Boss is feeling really, really confident! WAAAAGH! 2. Who has the team MVP been to this point? It iz me! Grimgor Ironhide, always da big MVP! 3. What is your secret to success on and off the ice? Don't eat a squig before a game and you fine. Eat a squig and you sleepin' like a damn stunty on his big grudge book. 4. Thanksgiving has come and gone in the United States, is your tree up yet? What is this Thanksgiving you talk about? Do ya eat it? If so, invite me over and I will dominate any food given to me WAAAGH! 5. I encountered snowfall on the way to work this morning, have you had to deal with snow yet this season? Big Snow all the time. Biggest of snows. Cold but I do like cold, you can eat the white flakes and they turn into watah' - it iz da best of it all! 6. Rumors swirling out of Chicago are that Corey Perry, who the Blackhawks brought in to be a father-type of mentor for Connor Bedard, has allegedly engaged in extramarital affairs with Connor's mother. On a scale of 0 to 10, how much did Perry understand the assignment? Who iz dat? Iz that Perry guy any goodz? I don't think so, if you are not a true stepdaddy after one night, you are NOTHING - that iz how Grimgor does it, it iz that da way!

  15. D.C. Dragons Official AGM Performance Review Review #1 : AGM O.D. Willemson Performance reviewed by independed reviewer "Johnny Froststache" After being contracted by GM John Frostbeard, I Johnny Froststache, an individual who in no way knows anything about this Frostbeard fellow, am tasked to evaluate and review D.C. Dragons AGM O.D. Willemson and his performance in his position with D.C. Dragons. As an important note to transparency, D.C. Dragons have agreed to publish all their performance reviews. GM Frostbeard or anyone else in the management team WILL NOT be reviewed as part of this process. Monday, 13th of November, 1st Performance review meeting, organized in AGM O.D. Willemson. O.D. doesn't arrive to his own performance review, questions about where is he during the work hours start to come up. His private secretary and his secretary's secretary both have not showed up to work. One of them posted an Instagram story saying "Eatin ice-cream with my bossman, the BEST DAY EVAH!". Seems that spelling mistakes are meant to be there for an effect. Wednesday, 15th of November, 2nd Performance review meeting, organized in AGM O.D. Willemson office. AGM has once gain not showed up to his own performance review but has left a note saying "There is a new Lego set brb". Both his assistant and assistant's assistant are putting together Lego Millenium Falcon and have told me to go away and not be a bother to them. I feel insulted. Friday, 17th of November, 3rd Performance review meeting, organized in the arena cafe, O.D. Willemson was seen in the parking lot talking to Ben Laas and The Frenchman, after trying to catch up to him with a delicious Latte in my left hand, I tripped on a corner of the cafe rug and spilled the coffee on my new DnD inspired shirt. I felt disgusted that noone came to my rescue and the coffee shops workers just asked "Will you want a second one, dear?". After calming myself, noticed that O.D. Willemson, Ben Laas and The Frenchman have driven away in O.D. Willemson's Ford F150. Monday, 20th of November, 4th and Final performance review in GM John Frostbeard's Office. Both GM and AGM are not anywhere to be seen. Have filled a complaint to GM Frostbeard. Yet to receive any worthy respose. Official review and recommendation. O.D. Willemson has showed no real interest, value, activity or general respect towards the position he is holding within the D.C. Dragons organisation. His work ethic is lacking, his ability to work in this position in constantly compromised by his absence. There is no valuable insight, information of any quality or a substantial opinion that O.D. Willemson can offer to anything related to running a VHL franchise. As an individual who has no redemable qualities for this position, O.D. Willemson might very well be sabotaging D.C. Dragons franchise by existing in this field of work. After consulting with many professionals and individuals who have worked in hockey management for many years, I have come to consensus that O.D. Willemson in any other franchise would have been fired already. Reviewer recommendation I recommend AGM O.D. Willemson would receive a salary increase and be signed indefinitely.
