Hello! First thing that pops out to me is the dramatic effects, which I am a fan of in graphics. I do think that the lighting at the top should be more subtle though, and in my opinion either offset the first name in the back or scrap it altogether in this situation. The slight blur effect works great in this graphic, and with the splatter effect and the nice funneling light from the top to bottom is really tying together the dramatic effect of the graphic. I like the font and the gradient on the font, everything in the graphic seems in good balance. Review 7.8/10

Hello there, First thing that stands out to me is your ability with fonts, it truly is a a work of art in the placement and choices of fonts. It fits well into the graphic and is in my opinion a perfect balance between being subtle and overbearing. Other than that, I enjoy the subtle effects around the player and the blurring of the background is done nicely. I guess the only thing I can nitpick about is the NHL logo, but hey, I fuckin hate doing jersey/logo swaps too so who am I to judge! Review 8/10

Calgary Wranglers Press Conference 1. Another week has passed. The Wranglers have been on an incredible run, going (11-3-2 ) since our last press conference. What is needed to continue winning at this rate ? Just keep playing the way were playing, it shouldn't be that hard to maintain this pace especially with this group of players. 2. Your season record has improved to (33-12-5). This pace would have the Wranglers finish with 48 wins. Would this surpass your expectations ? It seems about right, this team is too stacked to afford lower expectations. 3. Even tho you have been winning a lot of games, Seattle has stayed within a point from you. Tuesday Calgary and Seattle play each other twice. What are your score predictions for those two games? I think Calgary takes two wins, one in OT/SO. 4. What are your thoughts on the newly announced expansion? I think it's great. Shows that the league is expanding and new players aren't just leaving after a brief stay. 5. What expansion team city and logo do you like the best ? London United looks alright, but that LA logo is honestly a letdown... 6. Outside the VHL the NHL is getting closer to beginning its playoffs. What NHL team will you root for ? Since the sharks are out I'll probably root for Pavelski and Dallas to get a cup.

Hello! One thing that sticks out to me that I like is the font you chose and the differing fonts for first/last name, as well as the placement of the first name. I think it is well done and adds to the graphic. Where I think this graphic needs improvement is in the background and details. The glow and saturation effects are overpowering, best left to more subtle usage. Not bad concepts though, and definitely room to grow with the ideas coming through this graphic. 5/10

Hello! I am liking the graphic. I like the clipping effect you have created with the player showing within the boundaries of the number. I like the background as well, it goes well with the concept of the graphic you are going with. If there is something that maybe could be improved, adding some sort of texture between the city background and the number would go well to add to the graphic, and the text doesn't looks like it is the absolute best choice. I think jersey m54 would go well with this photo, or even a cursive font would too, but thats my opinion. 6/10 good job!

I think the most important aspect is to go into the playoffs hot, which is a good possibility since we are getting our backup games out of the way early. 2. How do you feel about the Wranglers most recent contract extensions ? A 2 year deal to Edwin The Encarnacion and A 3 year deal to Willie Dredge. I am very excited to be back, Calgary has allowed me to break out this season with some great linemates. As for Encarnacion I thought it was imperative to sign him if he was willing to stay, what he has to offer is too good to give up for free. 3. The VHL has theme week this week. Which theme would you like to see the league do, if you could choose ? Something that is easy to make a graphic about haha. 4. Mikko Lahtinen is currently on an 8 game goal scoring streak and an 11 game point streak. No one is hotter right now! Can you explain his explosive breakout this season ? There is only one explanation.... BEKETOV IS ABUSING HIS POWERS!!!! In all seriousness I think it's just a lot of good factors going on. A good build, good linemates, chemistry etc. 5. Latrell Mitchell and General Zod are in the top 10 in +/- in the entire league. They also lead all rookies and deserve a little recognition. They have been great in their roles this season. Do you have any pointers to keep them going in right direction? It's not easy going + in this league of scoring, props to them for keeping it out of the net. 6. Which is the best: waffles, pancakes or French toast ? This is the hardest decision of life and you force me to make it in the morning... All of them combined with bacon and eggs please. Yo Jubi! I can appreciate a graphic like this because it stands out from the ordinary. The drawing effect, not even sure how you pulled it off, is great and it makes for such an interesting graphic that draws the eye's attention. The glowing highlight goes well with this cartoon/drawing effect and also brings out smaller darker lines and crevices that in return bring detail to the graphic. Where I believe the graphic lacks is in the text, In my opinion it is taking away from the graphic in it's simplicity. I'm not sure what font could fix this, but adding a blend to the text that would create the same effect from the image to the text would probably look better than a simple font. Other than that it is a great concept and great execution. Review: 8/10

Hello! You did a really good job with doing the jersey/logo swap, as that is something not too many people including myself are good at implementing especially when it is at an angle, good job! I also like the font and effect on the text, I think it is a good choice for the graphic. If I must nitpick, the model could use some editing to bring out the shadows and highlights to make the graphic look more dramatic. This could be as simple as using a camera raw filter on the render/model layer if you are using photoshop. Overall its a solid graphic and I want the name of that font so I can use it for future projects ?. Review: 7.5/10

Last season we fizzled in the playoffs so maybe we should be saving some of our magnificent firepower for the real deal while maintaining top seed. 2. How important is it to you, that the Wranglers get contract extensions signed for upcoming UFA's Edwin The Encarnacion, Willie Dredge and Mikko Lahtinnen ? Lahtinen is a must as he is breaking out this season into a true star player for years to come. The Encarnacion is having a good season for us and I think he should be coming back next season. 3. Can you explain why Calgary would be a great team to sign an extension with ? After being in the locker room for awhile, I can say that Calgary is an extremely fun and active locker room. The guys that make up the team are excellent and makes a player want to stay and have another go just to have another season of talking with them daily. 5. Who is your favorite player that is not a Calgary Wrangler ? Jaguar has been fun to watch the past few seasons. 6. Nevermind a playoff beard. You get to choose a new funky hairstyle for a playoff run. What are you going with ? (Share a pic or GIF if you want) Dredge will grow his hair out to his knees and have the most luscious lettuce the VHL has ever seen! 7. If you had to choose one. What would your dream VHL job be ? I think once I have more experience in the VHL I would try to GM in the VHLM and see how I like it and what I can do for new players.

Hey there, I like the graphic. The concept of having the render inside/through the logos is awesome and well executed. The slight blur around certain areas aid it in blending the image together and is well done. When the graphic is enlarged the text effect sort of hurts the eyes but I see when it is reduced into a smaller sig the effect actually is soothing and works well. I like the work that is done and I can't really find anything to nitpick at, maybe if anything there could be more color variations in the background instead of all black? Overall good graphic, really cool concept and great execution of said concept. 8.5/10

Hello! First off I would like to say that this is really well done in my opinion. The render is very very clear and every detail is sharp. The slight fog/shine effect on the shoulders is good and I think it adds a lot to the graphic. Great choice of background that complements the color palette you chose to go for in this graphic. Lighting and shading is done well although personally I do my graphics with a bit more lighting and shading as I think it makes graphic more dramatic, but thats just me. IF I had to nitpick/add criticism to certain things, I would say the fog/shine on the helmet looks slightly off, I think it would have been better to have no fog effect on the helmet and highlight the lighting more. As for the text, I think having a color dodge text with slightly less filling effect would have looked great considering the background and color palette you chose, but honestly the text looks fine as it is. Overall, I really like this graphic, good work. 8.8/10

I always tend to give praise to goalies because I believe they get roasted the most when things get bad, Laffy's been doing solid work for the team and it shouldn't go unnoticed. 3. Could anyone have predicted Davos 1 point behind us with a game in hand, clawing at us for 1st place in the league ? I picked Davos to be missing playoffs so you can say that I didn't. 4. Which active VHL player has the best name ? Theres a bunch of good ones, I like Gritty. 5. What is going on with D.C 3-5-0 ? They are 2nd last in the league, after finishing 3rd overall last season. I think they just had a rough start and will be back up and contending soon. 6. There is a mandatory 14 day worldwide lockdown. You have $200 and can only buy 3 different items. What you buying ?
