  1. Yes, I know I should have used a clipping mask. No, I don't know how to use a clipping mask. Yes, I will try to learn once I'm done with college for the semester!
  2. A main VHL twitter seems like it could work, and it would be an extra position on the Media Team which would be solid. I'm not sold on the idea of each team having one however, as that'd be quite a bit of work to create and post draft graphics, signings, and game results/performances. On that main account, there'd be plenty of room to have centralized content that features original content and the best of PT's created by our users.

  4. Hello Americans! Here are some questions for you to ponder publicly for this week. 1. What are your thoughts on the new AGM hire? 2. Do you think we can make a push to sneak into the playoffs this year? 3. If you had to be stuck with one player on this team during quarantine, who would it be and why? 4. Which player/GM would you absolutely not want to be stuck with during quarantine and why? 5. With the upcoming All-Star skills competition, who would you nominate to go from our team? 6. Lastly, if you could prank one player on the team, who would it be and why?
  5. Appreciate the questions as always! 1. Honestly, I'd love for you to stay 2. I think he makes changes to spark the team, and they've produced results 3. I'm always confident in our ability to win 4. Sure, they're all good guys, it's nice to have more folks around 5. I think I always have room for improvement, but I'm not doing too shabby 6. The bathrooms for sure. Yeesh.
  6. As usual, I'll toss my name in for this position. Would be honored to be an AGM. Will be glad to speak for my experience/qualification privately with you!
  7. You are an S71 draftee which makes you eligible for manual readjustment down to 350 TPE!

  9. TEAM CANADA WJC ROSTER FINALIZED! After hours of poring through quality candidates, GM Spartan has finally selected 9 forwards, 4 defenseman, and 2 goalies to represent Canada at the impending World Junior Championships. Canada was the first team to have finalized their roster, signaling the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization as they look to get back atop the podiums, with gold medals hanging on their chests. This reporter was able to get ahold of the GM to ask him a few questions about the roster. What do you think is the strength of this roster? "I think that the youth and raw talent of this roster can outshine any other nation or team. We may have one of the youngest teams when it comes down to the selection, but I have no doubt that we will have the most active team, and the most vibrant team. The players were selected on their current activeness around forums, Discord, and with updating." What are you most excited about? "Honestly, a decent amount of players on this team are some of the most active and engaged members of this community. That being said, there is still plenty of room for them to grow and earn more TPE per week. If we can get some guys to grind out some TPE, I think we definitely have a shot at landing a spot on the final podium, maybe even at the top!" Who was a dark horse to make the team, but ultimately did? "Hahaha, I can't share any names just yet, but there were a couple players whose activity and energy around the league earned them a spot on this roster. As I said, I think team Canada will be the most energetic and vibrant team during this WJC, and some of those dark horses will play a massive role in helping us achieve that goal and more." Overall, Spartan seems extremely excited with the roster he was able to nail down. By this reporter's research and analysis, it seems that Canada should have some extremely talented and established players to lead the team, with a few high potential prospects shoring up the depth. If those prospects can meet the hype, which Spartan is confident that they will, Team Canada will be a force to watch. (Word Count - 383)
  10. Hoping to make my country proud. Congrats to the other GM's chosen, and I look forward to seeing you all out on the ice!
  11. Love you and your questions Viper, always nice to reply to 'em! 1. I love the addition of Proto and major kudos to the blues for hiring him. Even if there are other, more experienced candidates, he's the perfect fit for LVA. 2. Very comfortable with it, though I think we can try to get a few more guys active in there. 3. I have specific ideas that I've talked to Proto/Viper about, but i'll keep those private from the public 4. I think we're a solid squad overall, and his hiring may spur us to perform a bit better than we were. Change always requires results. 5. A community award would be nice for the person most active and beneficial within our LR and in public. Someone who can be called "Mr. Las Vegas Ace" 6. I wish I could have 69, but that may be a bit unrealistic. I'd like at least 42.0 points. Currently sitting at 26 so that's a bit more achievable!
  12. I'd like to throw my name in the hat as well. Even though I'm not a captain/alternate, I like to try to keep our LR active and a good time. I post press conference questions in EFL so I'd be able to do that here as well. I may not have the experience that some others may have, but I definitely have the drive and passion to learn more and improve every day, and that's what I'll try to push our players to do if I am selected as AGM. Plus I have a Mac and reached out to Gustav for the instructions for STHS a whiiiile ago so that shows initiative I guess!
  13. @RMTGames please reply and say "confirm" that I recruited you to VHL
  14. I will apply as well. Not much experience, but I've already received instructions on how to get the lines client(?) up and running on a Mac. I'll take whichever team has an opening, and I look forward to the challenge!
  15. On this fine Monday evening, I got a chance to sit down with @Poptart, the beloved GM of the Las Vegas Aces. After about a third of the season, I wanted to pick his brain and find out his thoughts on how the Aces have performed so far this season. Overall, he feels great about the state of the team, noting that "we are only 3 points back of the 2nd spot in the league with a rookie goalie," and impressive feat for sure. Offensively, the Aces are in the top 2 in the league in goals scored at 128 which surely contribute to the team's success. However, Poptart acknowledges that there is still "a little bit of work to do on the defensive side," as the Aces have given up 103 goals on the season, a mediocre statistic. However, Poptart is confident that as the season progresses and the rookies continue to develop, the Aces will hit their stride and surge in the playoffs. When asked about the biggest challenge the Aces face as a team, he was quick to point to the number of rookies on the team. Without much experience playing together, the team needs time to develop chemistry and figure out the "combinations that work and how everyone works together." However, he did mention that the team has been doing well to adapt on the fly, as the Aces have rarely lost back to back games this season. Lastly, I asked Poptart about what has surprised him the most so far this season. Fairly, he mentioned that not much has been surprising from what he expected before the season started. His preparation and knowledge of the team has certainly paid dividends, as the team has been extremely competitive through the first 27 games of the season. After a pause, he admitted that the play of one Alex Letang has been a pleasant surprise. The organization was high on the first-gen player before the draft, and expected Letang to be a "Day 1 contributor, but not this much!" Through 27 games, Letang has slashed a 2/17/19 along with a +19 rating, certainly decent for a rookie. Overall, it's clear that Poptart has done an exceptional job putting together and running this team. We will all be watching closely to see how the Aces improve over the rest of the season! Thanks to Poptart for the time and patience for this interview, and hopefully I get to chat with some more folks around the league in the future!
  16. Thanks as usual for the questions Viper! 1. I'm not impressed. We have some phenomenal players, but we can always do better. Everyone in the locker room believes that we have more to show, and that's what we're going to aim to do. 2. I think I can contribute a bit more offensively. I got my first couple goals recently, but we haven't been winning. 3. I think 18+ minutes for a second pairing defenseman is pretty decent. I'm happy with it! 4. Of course, that's easy. 5. I'd be down, I think it'd be fun to recognize folks on the team for their efforts. 6. I'd probably say our GM Poptart. He never lets us be content with our performance and always says to strive for more.
