review: great job on making a literal board game into a great signature. i like how you went minimal with it, and it doesn't even feel empty or bland. the font you chose works well with the clue logo, and the skates, stick, and hands are good enough that they don't jump out as obviously photoshopped. it could possibly do with some brush work to busy up the background a bit, but i don't think it would add much more to the piece. i really like this one. 9/10

the vhl draft has come and gone, and for harkat mulds, that means heading to his new team in toronto. in a bit of a shock, he fell down to the 9th overall pick of the vhl draft. teams with those first few draft picks either decided they didn't like what they saw from mulds, or had other needs that he did not fit. in any case, his name was called by gm peace, and he is packing his bags and making the move. it came as a bit of a surprise to mulds since he hadn't been contacted by the organization leading up to the draft. but with the picks they had it made sense they didn't expect to see him available. he's still getting settled in at the moment, but the team is young and hungry and there are a lot of reasons to be hopeful for the future of the legion. this season will be another one where they focus on development, but it's here where they lay the foundation of a potentially great team.

1. hopefully that will be us, team europe. we have been pretty strong all tournament. 2. kotkakoivu has excelled to another level and carried us along with him. 3. i'm quite happy with my player's contributions to the team! 4. i haven't taken as much interest in at as recent years, but i've looked forward to results every day. 5. i doubt it has done much to affect my draft stock either way. 6. i'm not much of a tv person, but i've been re-reading the harry potter series. i'm nearly finished now.

nice job red. i like how you’ve brought attention to the render’s face by giving the whole thing a bit of a vignette. i think the colours you chose for the background might be working against you, but it’s not extremely jarring, and the whole thing is blended well. 7/10

nice work on this one ledge. two renders is difficult to pull off, but it works well here. i would possibly blend in the tasteful “xxxxxx” and “…..” things so they don’t quite stick out as much. the logo swap is nicely done as well. great job, 8/10.

1. it was such a close series the whole way, i really thought we had it in the bag. oh well, it was a fun season. 2. i'm not surprised at all, i knew we had the resiliency to fight back. 3. has to be karjalainen. dude absolutely crushed it the whole playoffs. 4. i always predict 4-3. i can't remember final score, is that what it ended up? 5. i would have said zaza colors for the game winner. 6. i think it's my nose. in front of me but blocked out of my vision. oh, the future. lol

the off-season is well underway and that means it's finally time for harkat mulds to be drafted. he will be eligible for both the vhle and vhl drafts. i have been hoping to be able to skip the vhle, under the assumption that if you were at 350 tpe by the time of being drafted, you had the option of asking to be called up by your vhl team. however, i'm not sure if that is the case anymore, and if it is going based on the tpe cutoff, which is today, then i'll be just six tpe short of that goal, which would really suck. i don't want my player to play in the vhle, i want a nine season vhl career. i've been contacted by a few teams from both leagues, so we'll see what ends up happening there. i really hope i can make the jump to the vhl this season, i'll be pretty upset if i can't.

1. i wasn’t super surprised, no. our team has a lot more depth than they did. 2. no huge surprises at all in the first round. i think every team performed almost exactly as expected. 3. they’ve been doing that sort of thing all season. it is exactly what you expect from a top team like ottawa. 4. that means six more weeks of growing their playoff beard. 5. i think both of those holidays suck. 6. the turkey eats the stuffing that we stuff down it’s neck.

well my final games as general manager of the malmo nighthawks came and went in the blink of an eye. after an amazing sweep of warsaw in the first round of playoffs, we went in to a matchup that we knew we had our work cut out for. and then it was over just like that. almost as quickly as it had started, the nighthawks were swept away by moscow, and that put an end to our season. i definitely expected the series to go longer than it did, even predicting a seven game thriller in the playoff bracket challenge. moscow was just that little bit better all around and proved to be too tall of a task for malmo. so, not the ideal ending to my tenure, but you can’t win all the time. it’s a bit of a weird feeling at the moment, mostly from that weird limbo period in between our season ending, and the new general manager being announced. couple that with our underwhelming exit from the playoffs, you can kind of see the picture.

i’d like to apply. i have plenty of experience running STHS, and have my own license. Streaming isn’t an issue, and my availability is very consistent day to day.

the season 80 vhlm playoffs are underway, and for the yukon rush, that meant a matchup against the miami marauders. in this david vs. goliath battle, many had the yukon rush down to sweep miami, and they did not disappoint. yukon came into the playoffs after a very successful regular season campaign that saw them top the league. on the other hand, miami just barely squeaked into the playoffs, and their roster didn't quite have the depth to match the rush. many expected the dominant yukon first line to carry them to victory, but it was actually the second line that did most of the damage. we had maximus decimus meridius put up an impressive 11 points in 4 games, with alexandre leduc close behind with eight points to his name. we saw both goalers split their starts, and while their numbers aren't league topping, they did a good enough job to seal the wins. in the next round, yukon will go up against the halifax 21st in what should be another great matchup.

a big farewell post isn’t really my style. being gm of malmo was an honour and i am forever grateful that i was given that privilege. thank you to everybody that made malmo such a special place to me these last few seasons. juice, stz, muff, telkster, animal, v.2, fromtheinside, boom, scoop, infernal, jakky, kevin, cole, minion, tete, snu. the list goes on and i am probably forgetting people, but thank you. im looking forward to ushering in a new chapter for the malmo franchise!
