Midterms have been absolutely rocking me so while I have a chance to sit down and write some words, I will take that opportunity to write about the Los Angeles Stars season (I really like being on LA because I can extend the city name to two words). Speaking personally, I had a pretty mediocre season. I didn't really have a lot of hopes for the team but I was hoping to at least get 80-90 points, and bare minimum hit point per game. I did neither, getting nineteen points and forty four assists for sixty three points on the season. Woof. I think after the Pines experiment people should write off passing as a skill altogether. As a supplementary it does it's jobs, but scoring is just so much better. In comparison to S73 draftees, Steve's John Merrick had 84 points while focusing on Puck handling and scoring. Dakota Lame had 90 points while having a similar build to mine, but reversing scoring and passing. In conclusion, fuck passing, all my homies hate passing. I plan on finishing getting defense to 99, and then pumping scoring until it's 99. This kinda works with the general spread of having 10-15 between passing and scoring, I wish I hadn't gone so deep on it because it sucks. The transition period might be awkward as passing and scoring are near even but I'm thinking end game (hopefully S75 playoffs!). On a more team sense, LA had three rookie defenseman this year, and I'm pretty hype for our future on the back end. @JigglyGumballs has been a consistent earner and I bet they become not only our franchise defenseman, but one of the leagues replacements for aging stars. I think Jiggly also proves that passing sucks on defense as well, as despite being the highest TPE defensemen on the team by over 100, they got absolutely shafted point wise, getting the least of the three rookies. Jiggly if you read this abandon all hope in passing and SCORE SCORE SCORE. This may be because of the fact that we really didn't have scoring on LA in general, and may be what's happening to Pines as well. Since losing Gunnar our highest scoring stat is a four way tie at 90 and puck handling 87. Mikeal Keef, who I can only assume is pronounced me-kai-el-, is another passing-first defenseman, but had better puck luck, I guess. But we especially gotta talk about Lester Green @Smarch. This man has 40 passing AND scoring. Despite this he had the highest point totals for the LA defense. I think this really talks about the value of 99 defense, as there is truly no other reason to explain why they got so much points during the season. In conclusion, I'm looking forward to the future in LA. We'll have 3 goated young defenseman, led by checking master Markus Nygren @Devise and backstopped by the biggest hat in the m f game in Doug Dimmadome @Esso2264. Also Pines goat prepare for him pot 200 points in the lottery tournament dweebs.
