    osens got a reaction from AJW in What's HOT what's Not - OMI ABERG EDITION
    Omi Aberg is one of the Ottawa Lynx leaders in the center position. He is a gritty, hard-working center, who likes to create some trouble for the opponent's defense. Aberg will be eligible to pick in the next draft, so scouts have been looking at this youngster/oldster, because he is 50 years old, for a good while. There are a lot of good things about Omi Aberg, but there are also some not so good.
    HOT - Defense
    Aberg is a so-called two-way forwards. He will leave everything out in offense, but will always skate as fast as possible back to defense, so there wouldn't be any stupid goals to be let in. He doesn't give up in defense, he will stand in front of any shots the opposing team will make, it doesn't matter if it's a weak wrist shot or hard one-timer. He will be there and he won't let the other team score. He is very quick on defense and he has excellent hockey IQ - he sees all passing lines and he can intercept them and lead his team to fastbreak.
    NOT - Puck Handling
    Aberg is awesome in offense, well in some way. He can move to the front of the net and he is talented there. He can tip some pucks, or make passes from the front or just take away the goalie's vision, but Aberg is not at that point, where he can lead his offensive rushes. His puck handling is shockingly bad and he should focus on that in the next off-season. Well, the good news is for the next Aberg team or other scouts, that this skill he will probably learn to get better at. He should get some expert puck handlers, like Dakota Lamb, who are known to lead their offensive rushes and they are a pain in the ass to defense because no one can take the puck off them. Aberg can bring other things to the table, but sadly not puck handling at this time of the year.
    HOT - Creativity
    One thing that Aberg really has - creativity in defense and offense. If you give him the puck, he will act fast. The good thing about him is, that he has got everything in his book to help him do everything. He has great shots, that can beat any goalie in the league, but also accurate and quick pass, which can lead to some dangerous shots and even goals. From watching Aberg play, you can tell he spends so much less time with the puck than other centers in the league. It is sometimes bad, and sometimes good. It shows that he is a quick thinker and he will find a way quickly to make any situation work. Even in defense, he can put a quick pass to other wingers, which can lead to some dangerous rushes. Aberg is a really dangerous player even without a puck, he fills the line perfectly and he is always there, where he needs to be.

    Omi Aberg will be picked pretty highly in this draft and he will be trying to show everyone his A-game every night in the upcoming VHLM games, to show the VHL GM's to pick him instead of other players.

    OTTAWA LYNX PRESS CONFERENCE
    WEEK ENDING JUNE 20, 2021

    1. Has this season gone as you would've hoped for your player?
    More or less. I would want to be more active in locker room, but life is busy but I am trying my best, but player wise it's coming along really well.
    2. For Season 79 draftees, have you received any interviews yet from VHL teams? For drafted players, what do you hope to accomplish in the VHL with your team, and when do you think you'll go up?
    I have gotten 1 interview, so I am not the hottest fish in the market, I guess.
    3. What's been the best part of the VHL (game overall) for you so far?
    Just interacting with other fun people that are in the league, learning more about these people.
    4. Who do you want to win the Stanley Cup of the remaining teams (Golden Knights, Canadiens, Islanders, Lightning)?
    I guess Canadiens, love their story and Knights are poopy.
    5. What do you enjoy doing now that summer is almost officially here?
    I love swimming, because I am all about that water life, love being underwater, that great feeling.
    6. Favorite music band?
    Don't really have one, but if I would have to name one it would probably be The Avalanches, their music is pretty chill.

    ajwllmsn’s S79 VHL Mock Draft
    (First Round)

    To start things off I must say I have never been part of a draft myself so I am sorry if I am biased in any way. I got inspiration from other Mock Drafts and thought this would be fun to do since my first player will be part of this draft. I don’t know all the draftees personally so I’m not sure who has more impact on the community or not, but I think I have a pretty good idea. So I am sorry if I put anyone too high or low but I tried my best!

    Also, this is the standings in the VHL at the moment I am writing this:

    I will follow this order starting with HC Davos all the way to Seattle (if they have their first round picks or not).

    1st

    HC Davos Dynamo
    @Zetterberg
    RW Tyler Reinhart

    With the first overall pick it is not a shock that Tyler Reinhart will be going to the Dynamo. Reinhart has racked up 125 points in 67 games so far and leads all VHLM rookies in almost all categories. The Dynamo do have Declan Wolf and Griff Mackenzie both coming up next season as Right Wingers but I don’t think it would be a good idea to pass up on a staff member in Zetterberg who also leads the draft class in TPE. Reinhart has far more potential than the two players listed as well anyways. I believe Tyler Reinhart will be Davos’ Franchise player and lead Davos to many playoffs and cups. Reinhart in my eyes could easily be top 10 in all time TPE at the pace he is going already.

    2nd

    Vancouver Wolves
    @MexicanCow123
    LW Jerome Reinhart

    This pick I do believe belongs to Jerome Reinhart who will be going to Vancouver 2nd overall. My reasoning for this is MexicanCow123 is a well known staff member through the community and also has a good Left Winger in Reinhart. 82 points in 67 games so far with 39 goals is definitely something to look at. Vancouver does have Kid Frost moving up next season but I believe Jerome Reinhart has so much more potential. Reinhart should be a great Franchise player for the Wolves and should be their top guy very soon.

    3rd

    Vancouver Wolves (From Toronto)
    @scoop
    RW Taylor Mourning

    The third overall pick could go to a couple of players but I do believe Taylor Mourning will end up in Vancouver. The wolves have plenty of centers and are in need of more wingers. As stated above, Vancouver has two wingers moving up next season but Mourning has far more potential and could definitely make a good duo with Jerome Reinhart if they both end up in Vancouver. Mourning currently has 48 points in 68 games with Philadelphia. I think those stats will improve in Vancouver since Scoop is an active member and Taylor Mourning’s skill should rapidly increase to see top line minutes in the next couple of seasons.

    4th

    Moscow Menace
    @ROOKIE745
    C Jonathan Ori

    The fourth overall pick in my eyes belongs to Jonathan Ori. The highest ranked centerman in the draft would have a good spot in Moscow. Moscow has five centers at the moment but two are S72 centers who will be gone soon. I believe Ori will move his way up the depth charts for centermen in Moscow in seasons to come. Ori has put up 38 points in 69 games with Minnesota which isn’t too impressive, but performance in the VHLM is not always the same in the VHL. Ori could easily be a solid 2nd line centerman behind Paul Atreides - a Malkin/Crosby type of deal.

    5th

    Los Angeles Stars
    @JardyB10
    D Poopy Peepants

    Poopy Peepants has great potential to end up in Los Angeles. Peepants is the top ranked defenceman in this draft and has 41 points in 68 games with Miami this season. Which is very good for being on the last place team in the league. JardyB10 is an active player and known through the community. The stars will be losing their veteran Roque Davis next season and could only have one more defenceman moving up. Peepants is a fast improving player and could very easily make his way to top pairings in the future with Los Angeles.

    6th

    Riga Reign
    @Beketov
    G Papa Emeritus

    This pick seriously confuses me and I could be so wrong. Papa Emeritus is an amazing goalie behind the works of the senior staff member Beketov, so I do believe Emeritus could go higher. But I am sticking him here since all the other teams ahead have two goalies who won’t be leaving soon. Riga does have two goalies on their team but Calvin Harvey is S73 and will retire soon. With a 52-8-4 record on Yukon this year, Emeritus can easily work his way to the starter spot on Riga. I believe Emeritus can stay with Riga for a long time and help to make Riga a successful team. This goalie has a lot of value and will be wanted by many teams.

    7th

    Prague Phantoms (From D.C.)
    @osens
    C Omi Aberg

    This could be a stretch but I do think Omi Aberg could end up in Prague. The phantoms are in dying need of another centerman and Aberg is the second best in the draft. Prague could take Aberg with their 12th pick, but I believe he will be gone before then. Aberg has 45 points in 68 games with the Ottawa Lynx this season and has been working hard on improving. osens is a very active player who maxes capped tpe every week so it is not too shocking that he could go higher than what his ranking currently is.

    8th

    Malmo Nighthawks
    @jRuutu
    D Erlantz Jokinen

    The Malmo Nighthawks should be taking Erlantz Jokinen at 8th overall. jRuutu is an active player with 68 points in 67 games in Yukon. Malmo has veteran defenceman who will retire soon so Jokinen can definitely take their place. The Nighthawks do have two defencemen ready to move up next season but Jokinen has more potential and is more active. I believe Jokinen will be Malmo’s top defenceman and leader very soon.

    9th

    Seattle Bears (From Calgary)
    @SlapshotDragon
    RW Sigard Petrenko

    The Seattle Bears are dying for wingers and Petrenko would be a solid pick to be their only forward prospect. Petrenko would start playing instantly for the Bears and could possibly see second line minutes with the lack of wingers Seattle has. Petrenko joined the VHLM late this season but has racked up 32 points in 27 games in Houston. SlapshotDragon is an active member on the forums and Petrenko is not his first player, so Seattle should have trust in this solid right winger.

    10th

    Warsaw Predators (From New York)
    @Donno100
    G Orion D H Chiester IX

    The Predators have one goalie at the moment and could definitely use a second with a great pick in Chiester IX. Chiester IX has a 12-12-2 record with the Ottawa Lynx who have a losing record, so 12-12-2 is pretty impressive. Donno100 is an active member who does not max capped tpe weekly but is most definitely the next best goalie for Warsaw to choose. Warsaw’s current goalie is getting closer to retirement as well so Chiester IX could see starting minutes very soon if they stay consistent.

    11th

    Helsinki Titans
    @Baby Boomer
    RW Baby Bob

    The Helsinki Titans do not need a winger but could use a solid right winger like Baby Bob. Baby Boomer is an active member and Baby Bob has been doing well with 72 points in 69 games in Mississauga, on one of the worst teams in the VHLM. Helsinki has plenty of right wingers but they are mostly veterans, so Baby Bob could eventually move their way up the depth charts once those veterans retire.

    12th

    Prague Phantoms
    @ajwllmsn
    RW AJ Williams

    The Prague Phantoms could definitely use a right winger like AJ Williams. Prague currently has one right winger and none ready to move up yet. Williams could fit as a 2nd liner eventually with improvement, and then a first liner once S73 Dan Baillie Jr retires. Williams has 50 points in 68 games with the Ottawa Lynx which is not bad for being on a losing team. If the phantoms pick up centerman Omi Aberg with their 7th overall pick, Williams and Aberg could see a long career together, both being Lynx alumni.

    13th

    Vancouver Wolves (From London)
    @PadStack
    LW Miroslav Tsarov

    Even though Vancouver selected a left winger earlier in this draft, I think they would be losing out on Tsarov if they did not draft them. Miroslav Tsarov is one of the last players in this draft who does not only live off of welfare. Tsarov has 55 points in 69 games with Halifax. Vancouver would then have Reinhart as a solid first line left winger, but I think Tsarov would be their definite 2nd line left winger. If Tsarov stays consistently improving, Reinhart and Tsarov will be powerhouse left wingers for the wolves.

    14th

    Malmo Nighthawks (From Warsaw)
    @oilmandan
    G Em Em Flex

    In my opinion Malmo needs to take Em Em Flex with this pick instead of their 16th overall pick since Chicago will with their 15th overall pick. Malmo could use another goaltender since their backup now is in their last season. Flex is active weekly and would be a backup goalie for the Nighthawks. Flex has a tough 12-54-2 record with Miami so far but still has lots of room to improve. Malmo most likely would not get Flex to play for them right away, but I think Flex is a future good backup goalie for the Nighthawks.

    15th

    Chicago Phoenix
    @Wolverine
    LW Jakub Brozik

    Chicago really could use a goaltender but their next best option is definitely Jakub Brozik. The Phoenix do not need another winger but Brozik is a solid player and would be hard to pass up. 79 points in 69 games with Mississauga speaks for itself. Brozik would be their top winger prospect and with Robin Winter retiring soon, Brozik could see top minutes very soon if they stay active and keep improving. The Phoenix have two other left wingers at the moment, but they only collect welfare, so Brozik has potential to be better than them.

    16th

    Malmo Nighthawks (From Seattle)
    @Birdman
    LW John Baard

    After drafting a defenceman and a goaltender already, I think Malmo would love to pick up left winger John Baard. Birdman is active weekly and their player John Baard has played well in the VHLM putting up 41 points in 46 games with Houston. Malmo has depth in left winger prospects, but if Baard stays consistently improving, he will surpass them in no time. Baard could be a solid 3rd line winger for the Nighthawks and potentially 2nd line if put on the right wing.

    Conclusion

    I hope this mock draft was fun to read and I hope the players/people I picked enjoyed reading their potential team’s summary for them. Once again I tried my hardest to not be biased and the formula I followed was mostly:

    Member/Activity
    The VHL team’s needs
    Position
    TPE

    I tried my best to follow this order but in some situations I did not.

    AKA I am a first generation player and new to the entire VHL/M community/system, so I do not exactly know how drafts work around here or what GMs truly look for. So in the end I hope you all enjoyed the #DRAFTHYPE and let me know your feedback, I am dying to know if these rankings are totally off or somewhat accurate.

    Thanks for reading, and you might wonder, AJ, why are you still typing, why do you never use apostrophes when you write, why do you write do not instead of don’t? Well that is a very good question and I would love to answer it in a couple more words. Okay that is all the time I have, goodbye.

    This was for fun but I need my PTs lol.

    Omi Aberg has just announced that he will have new personal sponsors, who will help him get better.

    He is an Ottawa Lynx player and usually, these young players don't get their own sponsors, but this time he was able to get a deal done with "OverSword", a sports gear company, that will gear him up for the rest of his fights on the ice. Aberg was really happy with his deal and in a short interview with journalists, he said that this was all a sudden deal and he just received an offer last night, and today he is the new face of the company. He will attend multiple events, that will attract more fans to the company and also to him. This will be an interesting deal to see, for Aberg and also for the company "OverSword", because people have already been talking, that Aberg is too unpopular and they should have gone with someone more popular.

    Omi Aberg is Ottawa Lynx young center, he is being crazy on ice but also off the ice.

    A few days ago there was a big story running, how some person in Ottawa's streets saved a woman when she went for a run but got followed by some weird men. This person turns out to be Omi Aberg and he walked this poor woman back home to her own house, where she was back in safety, and called the police. In the end, it turns out those weird men were her husband and his friends, who just wanted to take this woman's husband home to her, but actually she got scared from them and started running. It's good that it ended like that and everyone can look back at that and laugh about it and not have a bad accident happen to someone.

    Aberg still got a lot of media attention today, but he said that he did what everyone would have done - danger or not danger, help fellow citizens out.

    OTTAWA LYNX PRESS CONFERENCE
    WEEK ENDING JUNE 6, 2021

    1. Just yesterday, we sent two very good players, defender Kirby Pandora and center Jlloyoid Blloyoiderson to Halifax for a 1st, 2nd, and 4th round pick. Thoughts on this trade?
    We are a young team with a lot of our future in front of us. I think this trade will work out for us in the future, because our GM Dlamb will be able to find some really good young players that will help our team succeed next couple of seasons, because this season is development season for all of us.
    2. We lost to Philly today, 3-1, but did beat Mexico City, 5-3. Some games our offensive game shines, while others our defense prevails. What aspect, offense or defense, has been better overall this season, in your opinion? What part of our game can improve?
    I feel like our offense has been good, but we are young guys and we sometimes forget to get back in defense. We can improve on that!
    3. What do you think of your development as a player? Would more detailed TPE instruction help anyone out at all?
    I have a little experience with these things, so I feel like I have been doing just fine. Would want more activity from myself, but it will be fine.
    4. Currently we sit at 4th in the East, 6 and 7 points ahead of Miami and Mississauga, respectively. Do you think we can hold onto that last playoff spot?
    It will be quite difficult, because we are a really young team, and we have a lot of first year players and not really experience bunch. But I think if we try very hard and play with our head and not emotions we could do anything.
    5. Have you ever visited another country? If so, where, and how was it? If not, where do you hope to travel to someday?
    I haven't been a big traveller, but I would love to visit some hotter countries, like Greece. I love hot weather!
    6. What did you think of the Leafs surrendering a 3-1 series lead to Montreal? Reminds me, be sure to fill out your predictions for Round 2, Winnipeg vs Montreal (if you haven't):
    LOL Leafs suck and it is really funny. I like Habs and I hope they can continue their great run.

    Omi Aberg really is a phenomenon - he is playing junior hockey with mostly teens while being 50, but like Aberg has said - age is just a number. Aberg started his career very late. He dreamed of being the best hockey player in the world, the only problem is, that this dream started a few years ago.

    Aberg lives in Saint Helena, Ascension, and Tristan da Cunha and let's be honest - who knows where it is. One day Aberg was surfing the internet and he discovered highlights of some old soviet match and he was hooked at the first moment. He wanted to be a hockey player. The only problem is, that most of the hockey players at his age have already retired, but he planned to prove everyone wrong. He found his old yoga teacher and they started working on his physical game.

    He knew, that he couldn't get ice there and who would know how to play hockey, and that's why he moved to Sweden, mostly because of his last name, and he felt like he could gain some trust there. He didn't know where to start, but he found there Pontus Aberg, who helped him out and found a trainer, that worked with Omi for 2 years and he was ready for something really bigger - SSL. Swedish Sunday League was the next step for Aberg and he did pretty well, 3 points in 60 games and well, Pontus Aberg thought, that it was time for him to step in. Pontus saw something that others didn't see - potential into Omi, and that is why Pontus Aberg decided to take one season rest from his professional hockey career and help his surname brother out. They trained together all year and played in some local tournaments all around the year and Omi was playing better and better each game. Omi improved in all aspects and he was ready for something bigger. He joined the Swedish 2nd league and took it by storm and scored 50 goals in 30 games to be the best sniper of the Swedish league.

    He was ready. It was time to move over the ocean to the big league - VHL and he missed the VHLM draft, but that didn't stop Aberg from joining VHLM. He decided that Ottawa is the best place to take his talents further and here we are. Aberg is ready to start his young career and the sky is the limit for this old player.

    1. How do you feel we've been doing lately? We are currently in a playoff position, but with a 4-9 record. What do you think we could improve upon?
    We just have to continue training, and all the results will come to us. We are a young team with a bright future.
    2. Are you happy with your player's recent performance?
    I am, it's my debut season so I feel like anything is fine for me at this stage.
    3. What do you all think about the announcement of a third league, the VHLE (Europe)? Is it something you'd be interested in in the future?
    I don't really have a choice. I think it's interesting but we will see.
    4. Any goal song suggestions for the Lynx?
    I don't know, I am going to leave it for the arena's DJ's.
    5. Who do you think will win Lord Stanley's Cup? How far can your team go? If you don't follow the NHL, what are you watching that you enjoy this time of year?
    I am watching World Championships, it's pretty fun and unpredictable.
    6. Have you played any online sim games like the VHL?
    I have played a Latvian version of this kind, but not that in depth.

    osens got a reaction from ROOKIE745 in Oh Sens farewell
    It has been 6 long seasons and Oh Sens is going into the last 7th season of his career. It hasn't been the greatest ever career. He won't be in many record books, who knows he may be even forgotten after a few seasons, but one thing is for sure - Oh Sens had fun and knowing his difficult story, how he came to the league, and what he has done in his short season is really interesting and it will be inspiring for some younger Japan or Asian talents, who thinks that they are not good enough for the big leagues. Sens is one of the most successful Japanese talents and he has inspired a lot of youngsters already.
    SEASON 72 - MIAMI
    Oh Sens joined the league in S72 when he came to VHLM with his good old friend Dakota Lamb. Both of them were really unknown and no one knew what to expect from these youngsters, but one team that risked and took a gamble on them was Miami Marauders. General Manager Kris Ricer together with his assistant Big Al risked and, probably, succeeded with back-to-back picks - Oh Sens and Dakota Lamb.  Interestingly, both of their personalities were complete opposites. Oh Sens was a bad guy, who was pretty unlucky because everything illegal, controversial, or just something negative came to Sens way. Meanwhile, Lamb is a likable, hard-working, fan-favorite player. A leader. Even then on ice and off the ice they understood each other perfectly and that showed on the ice. Dakota put up 93 points and Oh Sens 61, to push Miami into the playoffs in their first season. The season was full of surprises for Sens because he even got involved in a drug scandal and honestly quite a lot of people thought that he wouldn't make it through the season, but with a great game, great players, and BACON in goal, Marauders went into their playoffs against big favorites - Minnesota. If someone would have said, that Miami would put up a big fight against the league's leaders - Minnesota, a lot of people would have laughed, but in the end, Marauders put up 7 games and they needed just a little more to beat the league leaders to make through playoffs, but in the end Marauders season ended in Round 1, but it showed a lot of good things, that Sens and Lamb are doing really well and they could be a force to reckon with. They were going into the next season as favorites.
    SEASON 73 - MIAMI
    This season was great and disappointing at the same time. Oh Sens, Dakota Lamb, and multiple other Marauders players were going in their final VHLM season and stakes were high - last one season to get that cup, that all of the young VHL players want to achieve - winning that first big cup. In the draft Marauders surprisingly drafted a young player from Finland - Patrik Laine. He had a great season in Helsinki and he made his way to Marauders after he was expected to go straight to VHL, but after consulting with his VHL GM decided that it would be better to stay in VHLM for one more season, so he did. Going into the season Marauders were complete favorites, and Sens certainly had a great season - 73 points and +40. That is quite good for him, knowing Sens usually is a really offensive player.  The season was great, Marauders were exceptional and they were getting ready for their rematch in the playoffs. Last year they lost in 1st round, so expectations were really high and everyone thought that the Marauders gonna be fighting for the championship, but sadly in reality it didn't happen like that.  Not all was bad, Miami won Prime Minister's cup, but Sens couldn't get his Founder's cup to fulfill his VHLM career before going to the big league. Marauders lost to their rivals - Minnesota Storm. The same team that beat them last season, but this time it hurt so much more because it was finals and it was the final season for multiple Marauders players - Sens, Lamb, Stansson, Bacon, and multiple more players. It was one chapter done in Sens career, his VHLM career had ended and it was time to move on to the big league - VHLM.

    From the left: Laine, Lamb, Sens, Bacon, Stansson.
    SEASON 74 - HELSINKI
    Yes, Oh Sens was even a part of Helsinki Titans. He joined the team in the draft, being drafted by the same team that drafted Laine, his teammate last season in Miami. Titans was a strong team and it was pretty understandable that Sens wouldn't get too much of playing time there, but from the start, Sens had a feeling, that Titans were made for Laine more than for Sens, partly maybe because of nationality - Laine is Finnish,  and he is playing like at home, but Sens is Japanese youngster and moving to Europe was really hard for him.  The team was struggling a little bit, but in the end, Sens together with management decided that a trade would be the right decision for both sides. Oh Sens played 36 games for Helsinki and in those games, he scored only 4 goals, added 7 assists and the main thing was, that he only made 42 shots. He felt unutilized and rightfully so.  After those 36 games, Oh Sens got traded across the ocean - he was moving to Toronto Legion.
    SEASON 74 - TORONTO
    He moved to the complete opposite team - a team that wasn't struggling, but also a team that Sens could find a better place for himself, and from the start, he certainly did that. In the remaining of the season he played about the same games - 38 games, but the numbers that he put up were so much better than Helsinki. He made 139 shots, scored 18 goals, and made 18 assists. In his first season in Toronto, Sens made playoffs and Legion even made it quite far. Toronto lost in the North American finals against Vancouver Wolves, which later won the cup against Helsinki Titans. It was a great season for Oh Sens and a learning one. Not a lot of rookies get traded to a new team in their rookie season, but Sens was one of them.

    Toronto Legion GM Peace finding Oh Sens.
    SEASON 75 - TORONTO
    This was the first proper season for Oh Sens in Toronto. After coming here in the middle of last season Sens was hungry to show what he really is, and individually he did great, but the team was underwhelming and sadly didn't make playoffs. Oh Sens had 82 points and you can't expect more than that for the second-year player, but Sens was a really ambitious youngster and he really wanted to make playoffs. This season probably will go in history as Merrick season, because that man feasted and Sens got a bit of it too because he was in the same line together with Merrick. A lot of people have called this season the worst season for Sens just by team success, but Oh Sens learned from this season and came back stronger next year with a lot of new teammates, ready to fight for playoffs!
    SEASON 76 - TORONTO
    This season was the season of change, the team retooled and acquired new players, that were going to help the team out. One of them was Kristof Welch, one of Sens's good friends, and there was fun drama with Merrick, but everyone knows Merrick is just a little asshole and it was better moving forward without him. Sens had an average season - 74 points and Toronto Legion didn't make the playoffs 2nd season in a row. This time around the team had really good chemistry and new additions to the team were really helping. This year was a learning year for everyone and Sens was one of the most experienced players in the squad, even though he was still pretty young. This team's goal was to just go play and have fun. And they certainly achieved that and were a fun team to see.  Sens was criticized for being lazy on the ice rink, but all injuries from early in the career have started to make Sens be slower, but he was still optimistic that he could go on even better than he does right now.

    Toronto Legion/Social club in the eyes of Merrick
    SEASON 77 - TORONTO
    This was the season of the legion and the season for the movement of #WinForRookie, Toronto Legion long-time goalie and always a cool person, who kept a good mood in the locker room. Oh Sens heart issues were starting to become more problematic, but Sens is really ambitious, so he pushed himself and the team a little more than 100%, so Oh Sens put up his best individual season yet - 83 points and Legion made playoffs pretty strongly - 2nd place in North American conference. Could this be the year? Sadly no, the young Toronto Legion team lost against Seattle Bears in Round 2, and another team that made their way to finals and won the cup later. Maybe the key to winning the cup is defeating Toronto in the playoffs? Maybe, but Sens at the end of the series started having really big heart issues, that's why he took a really big break in the off-season, being hopeful, that he could rest his heart and still continue his next season.
    SEASON 78 - TORONTO
    This is the new season. Oh Sens has officially confirmed, that he is leaving the league after this season, because of issues with his heart. He wants to have some time with his family and he feels like he doesn't have IT in him anymore. He told the team, out of respect for them and their teammates, he is going to go for one more season, because he loves his teammates just so much. And he wants to win it. He wants to win the Continental team and just winning it with Legion, it would mean so much. Oh Sens season individually has started awfully, 2 points in the 9 games, but that could be mainly because of lack of training camp in the summer. He took few months off, to rest his heart and didn't train much, but the main thing is that team is doing great, 1st place in the North American conference and they are ready to fight for the big one. Sens has told the whole team, that he plans on helping however he could, even cleaning the locker room, just so he could be of use. Right now the team is using him on ice, and it certainly is working, because Legion is doing great, and hopefully is going to win the Continental cup in the end.

    Oh Sens in Season 78.

    Oh Sens has been a really interesting player from Japan, he has played in WJC, he has played in playoffs in VHLM and VHL, but one thing that really lacks his career is the championship, so he plans on fighting for it this year, so he could fulfill his career for full 100% and be a great VHL player. No one is calling Sens a bust, because there were certainly worse players that were picked in the Oh Sens draft, but Sens is really angry at himself, that he wasn't more active in the training and didn't invest himself fully, so he could be one of the best players in VHL.  Sens's career would have been much worse if he wouldn't have had a lot of really nice teammates or people in his way. Without his first GM - Kris Ricer, he could have been lost in drugs and couldn't have fulfilled his full potential, without great teammates like Dakota Lamb, Kristof Welch he couldn't have scored that many goals, and without GM Peace he would have probably rotten in big Helsinki Titan's offensive depth. In the end, Sens has had a great season and he looks forward to the future - life after hockey.

In the end, Sens has had a great season and he looks forward to the future - life after hockey.

    osens got a reaction from Seabass in Oh Sens farewell
