We are in the final games of season 75 and the San Diego Marlins will finish 2nd in the Conference and possibly 2nd overall in the league, meaning we are the third seed in the s75 playoffs! Congratulations to this amazing Marlins team and let’s go get a Founder’s Cup. This week’s Presser for December 21st – December 27th: 1. As the 3rd seed, we matchup with Miami for the postseason first, something we expected dating back a few Pressers ago. How do you think we stack up with the defending champions? 2. Interesting development to close the season with Philly taking a bit of a slump to finish. With that said, is Philadelphia more likely to be eliminated Halifax/Yukon or do you believe Mexico City will be upset in the first round? Explain? 3. In a heavy in history matchup between Saskatoon & Las Vegas, who do you think has an edge in that series? 4. Who has been San Diego’s most UNDERRATED player this season? 5. With many of our Marlins going to the VHL next season, how do you feel about where you’re headed and how your VHL team finished this season? 6. Finally, a Christmas question. Is Die Hard a Christmas movie? No, no, in all seriousness, how will you be spending the holiday?

Fairly basic, I like the render and the background individually. They make for a weird mix though, not your fault just dead Christmas lol. Colors weren't changed, hood was faded with candy cane color though so absolutely excellent there. Would've liked this more in Philly colors to be honest. Christmas scenery covers the Reaper's chin though and because I got murdered for it on my graphic I must now be petty, again, not your fault. 5/10 Solid work, but I'll bump to 6/10 for the final cause that hood is crisp though.

1.) Last week the Wolves have continued there strong offensive output with star winger Gregg Stallion being named as one of the VHL 3 stars of the week with 5 Goals and an assist. What is it that’s so special about Gregg @SweatyBeaver? King: Stalli is a great lockeroom presence. Has really kept the team together in a heightened role as a veteran this season. We're not surprised about his success and we expect more to come. True stud. 4.) Have you looked into the S76 VHL draft pool ? Any players standout to you ? King: I've had the opportunity as the AGM of San Diego to be apart of the return of some true legend guys in BOOM and Phil the Rock Johnson and honestly they are obvious first round choices for any team. I'm super excited to see where they end up. Another interesting name is Dexter Vaughn. Flames1Fan has been a weekly graphic producer and if someone could get even Press Conferences out of him he becomes a super high value goaltender in the mid rounds. 5.) Which user on the Wolves do you most look forward to reading their weekly articles or Media spots/Graphics? Fonzi puts out a lot of quality, I'll go with that. 8.)Who is your best friend in the league ? (tag the user) Probably @Spartan 10.) Do you check the Index, LR chat, Sim results chat, or the VHL Portal when looking at the teams post game results? I check most sections honestly. 12)Gabe Akerstrom @Mason has been on fire since coming out west and had the best game of his career against the team that drafted him last week scoring 2 goals and an assist. Who outperformed who that game Emi or Gabe? Aker had a great game. Super proud of his play.

Since taking the job as an AGM I'm finding that the hardest position to recruit for is Backup Goaltender. Not just from a pitch standpoint but from a user standpoint. I would be amazed if the ratio for goalies going IA after creating wasn't 1/6 stay for more than two weeks. That aside though, self awareness is reality and I am still learning the quirks of being a good recruiter so that's a hurdle I have to overcome. As for the article as a whole, love that goalies are getting some love (I think I mentioned that a while back). I love the amount of detail that is put into the article. I read on Dark Mode so the white background is always a little jarring but that's on a forum end nothing you can do there. Interesting way to address the trade of Sales ad Sovick, not much else you could've done there. 10/10 on the piece man, not much more to say than another round of quality content.

It’s that time again dear Marlins, our Press Conference for the week of December 14th – 20th. We’ve been on the highest of high notes lately, Christmas the following week, and the end of the season approaching, we have a stacked pack of questions for all of you: 1. Our 13-Win Streak has been snapped. How would describe the run the Marlins have been on and the 13-Game stretch as a whole? 2. During our leagues’ high win streak, what were your two favorite games from that run? 3. Now onto the Trade Deadline. With Myself & IR already having made a couple moves, are you satisfied with how the trade deadline was handled by the Marlins’ front office? 4. In 32-Games since joining the Marlins, Maksim Yakolevsky [@Nepto] has accumulated 40 points, including 16 goals for the team! Along with being a great addition on the ice, he’s been a vocal member of the team in the lockeroom. What does Yakolevsky bring to the squad that has made him such a great fit in San Diego? 5. San Diego made some bold moves this past draft, selecting a noncapped defense pairing 1st and 2nd overall, then rolling the dice on an affiliate #1 Center, and two returning VHL greats. With all of those pieces coming together to create what looks to be a contender for the title this season, do you think those moves have already been validated or do you still believe there’s more to prove? 6. Our lockeroom has had some deep discussions about certain VHL policies and procedures in the past and with that we’ll open it up to the Press Conference. If we could shoot on the league for a minute on behalf of our command-n-chief, why should @InstantRockstar get a shot at a GM role in the VHL main, where would you like to see him go, and who would you have take over for the Marlins that is NOT @IamMOOSE

Another excellent graphic. Always gotta take my point for the lack of logo swap (even half) but overall the background, the render, the font which does look a little faded is all great stuff. As someone who isn't great at graphics this is kinda what I want to get to long term. Excellent work again my friend 9/10. Always enjoy seeing your work and an interesting choice to go for a dark background to the blue jersey. Not a lot of people could make it work. You did.

Not gonna lie, that straight up look like an apartment I lived near when I was a kid. Love the logo and the signature though the logo is a bit too big for my tastes personally. Render is basic along with the background. Doesn't look like much change beyond the cropped in render on the new background. You've done better ones but this is still an okay put together. 7/10 for me.

1)How did you hear the news or see Emi’s public transfer request? King: “I didn’t so much hear about it as much as figured it was coming. Emi seemed dissatisfied for a bit now and you could kind of feel the need for a change in scenery arising. When we had Spence come on to be the new Assistant the writing was on the wall.” 2)Do you feel betrayed by Emi Rune and her actions last week demanding out of Vancouver and with a lot of stipulations for her. King: “Not at all. She’s a high personality individual with her own needs and aspirations when it comes to the VHL and I can respect that. I think maybe it could’ve been handled a little more quietly but ultimately both parties did what they felt was right in the end and all we can do now is move forward and hope for the best for all parties.” 3)The trade is official and Rune is now a Titan and in return came @MasonGabe Akerstrom from HSK, how do you see Rookie defender Akerstrom stepping into how will he fit with the current roster ? King: “Aker is already stepping into the role nicely. I think he’s got a lot of potential to be a long term Wolf and I’m excited to see what he does.” 4)Emi went from being your AGM here to demanding out and making it public shocking Beaviss, this is where I came into the story, New hire and 1st gen user as your new AGM, what are your feelings about the new hire and Spence himself? Is the discord LR going to be missing something without Emi ? King: “I’m interested to see how Spence does and what his long-term direction is for the finer LR stuff in Vancouver. There are a lot of quality first gen members out there so I think he needs to step up to prove the hiring was best fit. As for Emi, again, I think it could’ve been handled a bit differently but again, ultimately both parties should benefit from a change in scenery. I have no ill will towards Emi and she’ll be missed by at the very least myself as a regular lockeroom member. I do think that it’s time to move on though. If I had one criticism for management it’s things like Press Conferences full of questions about Emi and feeling betrayed. I’m focused on building for the next postseason and defending the Continental Cup.” 6)What do you personally bring to the table as in the LR and do you see yourself as a positive energy and good LR teammate ? Moose: “Right now nothing. Still recovering from surgery so activity is a little low right now. Once I’m back to full strength I think I bring levity and laughter through commitment to the league and the immersion I bring of creating character work for my player.” 7)With the trade deadline looming and the Wolves sitting in the middle of the pack, where do you see the Wolves on trade deadline day, buyers ? sellers ? Keep the roster the way it is? King: “I wouldn’t call us Buyers but I’d like to see us grab another Defensemen for a deep playoff run. I think we’d benefit from having someone who can slot into the first or second pair to maybe boost that scoring depth, especially on the Powerplay. I think Beaviss will likely move something for picks though. That’s generally the move and this year is no different.”

Hello Marlins! I’m back with another Press Conference, this time for the week of December 7th – 13th. We’re fast approaching the trade deadline after crossing the midway point of the season. Staring down the lens of a 27-14-2 record after 43 games, we are 3rd in our conference and 4th in the VHLM in points. 1. We’re 24 points ahead of Houston, the 9th place and first team out of the playoff hunt as of this writing. With what looks like a smoother ride to make the playoff we can begin to experiment a bit to gear up for a postseason run. What line pairs would you like to see in these last few weeks of the season? Who would you like to play with on a line? 2. We’ve been struggling against teams higher in the league like Saskatoon, Philadelphia, and of course Mexico City. What do you think the strategy could be to make us more competitive with the top teams in the league? 3. Assuming the standings remain relatively the same, how comfortable are you with a first-round matchup with Miami? 4. A lot of interesting builds in the VHLM. What do you feel the most underrated stat is in a player’s build and why? 5. Your teammate Kaberle has been on fire with a mountain of content the last few weeks. Do you feel he should dial it back a bit to avoid burning himself out or is the strategy of full investment worth it in the long haul?
