1. What are your personally goals for this season? I need to be better than I was last year. 24 points over a full season just isn't acceptable for the level of play I want to achieve. 2. What are your team goals for this season? Championship can be the only answer here I think. Anything less and we have failed. 5. Who is your favorite team mate? I'd probably say Greg Eagles. 7. Who do you think will be our team MVP this season? I gotta think Greg Eagles is going to have a big year. I could see him being the best goalie in the VHL. 8. Where do you think we will end the season? Champions. 9. Who do you think will be the most improved on our team this season? As selfish as it may seem I am going with myself on this one. I feel if I am used correctly this year I can be a top defender in this league.

Hello @Corco, My name is Jeff, and I am the assistant general manager for the Halifax 21st, led by the fearless @fonziGG. I think it would be a great choice for you to come play with us in Halifax. As fonzi mentioned we can offer you a top six role and if you gather TPE you can move up the lineup. We have an active group of good guys in the locker room who would definitely prosper from having a veteran like yourself around. I was around in the league from season 1 until about season 26 so it seems like we originally missed each other by almost no time. From what I see you are a respected VHL veteran and it would be cool to have you on our squad. Always cool to pass stories about sim league old timers.

Halifax 21st Use Limited Picks to Bolster Roster It was no secret this season that the Halifax 21st attempted to make a run at the championship and fell short of their goal. In attempting to make this run they traded away the majority of their picks to pick up usable assets for this season. After falling short and losing some players to the VHL entry draft Halifax had to put their limited draft capital to try and quickly re-tool and continue to try and compete in the upcoming season. With the 17th overall selection the 21st took Swiss left winger Gabriel Gutzwiler. The 6’3, 215 lbs. Gutzwiler brings a big frame to the wing for Halifax and should be a staple of their offensive game as he continues to progress in the training facility. His defensive style of game is well appreciated with Halifax management. With the 28th pick they took the American defenseman Dylan Carpenter. Carpenter bring a smooth skating two-way game to the table which could see him playing in Halifax’s top four right off the hop. While a bit small in size there is no doubt that he has the talent to be a competent VHLM defender.
