Not claiming this as an ms but didn’t know where to put it so it is going here.

I’ve been thinking a lot, I know surprising but I have come to realize something about how this league has affected me. For those who know me well this is known that I am a very bad socializer and I hate social situations as they stress me out. It has been something I’ve dealt with my whole life but always just kind of pushed it off. I would avoid people and wouldn’t talk to people I didn’t know at all costs. I literally just wouldn't talk to people at school and would just chill by myself in my own little world.  I promise this goes somewhere. Anyways when I first joined the league for probably the first 3 months I talked to maybe 4 people because everyone else terrified me. I slowly got better at talking to people and then left for a while but I came back.

When I came back I was invited into the Moscow locker room on the draft night a draft I happened to be drafting for LA and my player was also in the draft. I don’t really remember how it happened but somehow I got convinced to join a voice chat with @Spartan and @MexicanCow123. I don’t honestly think I said a word in that call and I think I was there for maybe 2 hours. This became a constant thing where I would just sit in their voice chats and not talk but just watch them play games 99% of the time parkitect… please bring that back by the way. It became a running joke that I didn’t talk in voice chats. People use to join and say random things to make me talk but I legitimately refused to. Time continued and I would talk when it was only specific people and then would mute whenever someone else would join but it was always a work in progress.

At some point in Moscow, we were talking about it in gen chat and I think was because I was talking about college. The conversation I had with @Mr_Hatter and Spartan that day has been one that has stuck with me as I have started college and been forced to talk to people but also around the league. As I have started college I think about that conversation a lot and the first few weeks especially it helped me relax and just enjoy the time. I give both of them a ton of credit for how far I’ve come in the last 5 months because honestly, I’ve had the conversation with a lot of people but something about that conversation stuck out to me more than the rest of them. It felt less like being told not to feel that way and more people genuinely trying to help. Spartan use to get me into VCs a lot and as much as I needed it I hated it. As I said one day “it was needed but it was torture” I mean I still stick by that. It was torture but it was a what doesn’t kill you makes you stringer type of situation.

As a lot of people know I like to force myself into locker rooms to get sam roles. This may be one of the best things I ever decided to start doing. It forced me into talking to new people and being put in uncomfortable (for me) situations. That really started in proam and me begging Laine and eventually writing as essay for him to give me a sam role. so if you're ick of it blame @Lainebut that is really how me and Laine became friends was because of that so I'm very grateful for it.  I’ve met so many great people who I probably wouldn’t have met if I didn’t put myself out there. I stuck to my group of like 5-10 people that I would talk to but because of sam roles that has been increased tremendously. So shoutout to all the GMs that have let me into your locker rooms. I do appreciate it.  It probably sounds so stupid to anyone from an outside perspective but I have never been so comfortable around so many people. There are so many people that I’ve meet in the last 3 months who I now feel okay talking to when usually that would take probably 6 months to be able to do. A lot of that also came with the Halifax job. I mean I don’t have a choice I have to talk to my players and other gms etc to be able to run a team. It’s something that I didn’t think would help but it has.

It became a joke whenever I would talk anywhere that sam has left her hole or her home. I mean which they weren’t wrong. The first time I had an actual conversation in vhl gen discord I remember multiple people saying wow she talks. I know it’s surprising I do exist. I went from not being able to talk to people to be able to hop in a call with people after only knowing them for a little bit. Which is a huge improvement. Cow is one of my best friends on this app and it took over 9 months for him to convince me to get on a call with him.

So what's the point of this? One to thank you to the people who have helped me get over this slightly and have been extremely helpful to make me talk to people. I appreciate you torturing me for the better good of myself. I am so much more confident at least within the vhl walls to talk to people and not feel like an annoyance. Well except when I’m begging for sam roles I hope you get annoyed with me that means I’m doing my job. I definitely have my days where talking to people isn’t my thing and I fall back into old habits but in all honesty, vhl was one of the ways I’ve been able to force myself to break those habits. It’s a work in progress and will be for a while. I  want to say a final thanks to those who have helped me on this path even if you don’t think you did, you probably did in some way, shape, or form by just talking to me. When I walked into this league I never expected it to actually change me but its made an impact for sure. I'm really grateful for it. Okay bye now.

Hello. I see that Helsinki is still in the rebuild. Sorry to hear how down your season was, but as you said there is really nowhere to go but up. On the bright side your individual point production skyrocketed from your rookie season, which is a positive. This draft looks to be a very crucial part of the rebuild if you have all of those picks. 8/10

Vat got a reaction from a_Ferk in Excited about the coming VHL draft
Even though the coming VHL draft does not have a date yet I am excited for it! Because who doesn't love a draft? especially when your team has 2 first round picks along with 5 2nd round picks!  Since the Titans announced their rebuild I have been looking forward to the drafts! With so many picks I'm eager to meet new people, and meeting new people will give me more friends.  This is the start of a new Helsinki Titans era, and I'm lucky enough to be the head of it, when I got my VHL draft interviews they asked what my goals for my career was and one clear answer that came to mind was that I wanted to be an important player in a successful team, you can't quite say that Helsinki has had their best years but it will come.  Another answer to that question was that I wanted to win some kind of individual award, and that I did (?) This season I won two unofficial individual awards, not only that they were also record breaking, the first one was most time on penalty kill and the second one was on least win % on faceoffs, this might sound like awards you did not want to win.  But it's two awards, only one person in the entire VHL could get one of them and I got two, reminds me off how good I am at award winning.

As I mentioned before a new Helsinki Titans era is beginning and the last season is a distant memory, quite possibly the worst Helsinki season ever, but on the bright side we really cant go down from here, with new people coming in and not so new people staying here we can only become better.  A new Scandinavian power house is going to re-enter the league and we are going to win something I can guarantee you that, although I really don't know who is going to be in this years draft I'm sure that we will do good, I'm also sure that we will get a more active LR, and who can complain about an active LR?  Either way I hope that there are some top tier defensemen as I'd say that is the position we lack the most.  But really any active player will boost the team because no matter how much STHS hates you if you have tons upon tons of more tpe than your opponent you will eventually win.  Unless Simon want's to troll you by making you go 62-10 in the regular season, fly through the playoffs then get swept in the finals, that's when you are allowed to rage -A s77 Mississauga story.  Bottom line is tpe good, earn much and you good, also that I am super excited for the coming VHL draft with tons of new faces that I'm eager to meet along with new friends and LR activity, I hope there's a gem we can pick up too, that has to be the best feeling after a draft, seeing that you stole a top tier player.

I really like how simple this is, 1 player 2 names, not tons of stuff anywhere.  There are really only two things I think that you can do better here, a little higher quality would be great also the names, if you could have made names a little bigger and made them stand out more it would be great, but the most important thing is that you've included the god himself! 6/10!

Hello all, as you may or may not have heard, the VHLM has hired 6 new GM’s and I just so happen to be one of those lucky saps who has now regained their soul and rights. I’m very happy to be receiving the position of General Manager for the Mississauga Hounds after the conclusion of this season. It’s been just under a year since I’ve joined this league and I likely would not have began wanting to become a GM if it were not for my first ever GM @DMaximus  who did a great job welcoming me to the league and getting me hooked onto it ever since.

To New York, my involvement with the team in the future is still pending but I had an absolute amazing time helping run the place under @Esso2264's wing. As I have already said in the locker room, Parting is such sweet sorrow, that I shall say good night till it be morrow. (Great quote and totally original I know)

As for the position of AGM I have already consulted with the current AGM of the Mississauga Hounds and have mutually agreed that @Viper will continue to perform to duties of the hounds soulless slav… I mean AGM.

Otherwise congrats to all the other GM’s being hired and I hope we all have a big wakeup call on why we even wanted this job in the first place lol.

14th Annual Unofficial VHL Regular Season Awards – S79
Another exciting regular season has come to a close. That means we can dole out some regular season awards! Welcome everyone to the 14th Annual Unofficial VHL Regular Season Awards honoring the highs and lows of S79! Thank you to everyone that reads this.

These awards have been created by me. There is no voting process and they are not officially recognized by the VHL Board of Governors. I wrote descriptions for most of these award names in the original award post.

For each award, I list the winners from the last 5 seasons. If you want to check out the award winners from every season, use this link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sAZtX3bxVpPTIsKe1rSRVOenH1-iyWzbQEdR9ZvYOdU/edit?usp=sharing

I also document the “all-time” record for each category. Of course, by that I mean all-time for the existence of these awards, not all-time, all-time. Clear? Ok, good. Let’s get things underway!

The Pylon Award (worst +/- rating) – Jared Carter @jaredc7

Toronto and Helsinki both battled to win this one, claiming the bottom 13 spots in the league for plus/minus. Spots 2-13 were relatively close, only separated by 8 points. Carter must have really wanted this award because they were 10 points worse than 2nd place. They win it with a -49 on the season.

It takes a special talent to win one of the shots awards in a season when the all-time shot record is shattered by someone else. I have no idea how Dood did it, but they have one more shot blocked than Gunnar Odinsson, a total of 165. That ties the all-time record!

I don’t think it’s much of a surprise that Odinsson won this award after smashing the shots on goal award. What is surprising is they barely set the all-time record, recording just 4 more shots missed than the previous record set by Brock Louth in S74 (429).

Vat reacted to Beketov in S79 VHL Lottery Tournament - Day 2
This isn’t the lottery, it’s the lottery tournament. Doing better gives you better lottery odds, doing worse gives you worse lottery odds.

As for the lotto in general it’s not complicated: we just put the lotto teams in with their final odds, hit go, and it spits out the order. The only real extra rule to it is that you can only drop a max of 1 spot in the draft so if the team in the Third spot, for example, gets drawn for the lotto win then spots 1 and 2 get pushed down to 2 and 3 respectively.

Yes, we do not see it but they train basically every day to become the best they can and we go nuts after a goalie makes a slight mistake after 10s of marvelous saves.

Vat reacted to Juice in Dark Horse Candidate For Each VHL Trophy
The glory and satisfaction of winning an award is something that strikes the core to all, even the ones who value team success to individual success.

It's that time of the season with the theme week taking storm in the VHL, and with this season's theme regarding the VHL Awards it's fun to see the entire league making media spots or graphics regarding each award and their thoughts on who will eventually win or deserves to win each award.

However, I thought what would be good is to go through the list of awards and at this point of the season chose a dark horse candidate who I personally believe could be argued to win based on where we are in the season or to overall be considered for some of the awards that will be presented at the end of the season.

With that being said, here is the list of some of the most coveted awards in all of the VHL and my idea of someone who might not make it, but does pique my interest and could eventually be among the shortlist.

Scotty Campbell Trophy (Most Valuable VHL Player) Current Favourite: Gunnar Odinsson ( @BOOM) Darkhorse Candidate: Red Lite ( @Tate)   I think all eyes are on the outstanding season Odinsson's having this season, already hitting 110 points and 50 goals with still just under a quarter of the season left to go, he could be having one of the best offensive performances in the last few seasons. Now while I would easily say he's the winner to be for the next trophy (the Slobodzian for most Outstanding), I would really take into consideration the "Most Valuable" wording of the Scotty Campbell, and that's why I'd easily say Red Lite should be considered for it.   While Odinsson is having a season to remember, it's good to take into consideration some of the other performances on the team like Brandon Telker having 105 points already as well, or Muffbeav and Jakob Sosa being in the 70's for point totals. But if you take into account that Red Lite is currently leading his team with 96 points and his next closest teammate is at 63 points, and the next after that is at 48 points? I'd say that New York would be in a very scary spot without Red Lite leading the way miles ahead of any of his other teammates AND being in the top 5 in points in the league.   If Odinsson really pulls away from everyone and has one of the best seasons in recent history, I think Odinsson should be the clear winner for most trophies he'd be eligible for and deservedly so, however if Red Lite even closes the gap by a little bit I'd think that he should be highly considered.
Brett Slobodzian Trophy (Most Outstanding VHL Player) Current Favourite: Gunnar Odinsson ( @BOOM) Darkhorse Candidate: Red Lite ( @Tate)   Yet again, it really is Gunnar Odinsson's trophy to lose at his point in the season being so far ahead of the pack in so many aspects. Being top of the most points in the league, most goals in the league, top 5 in most assists in the league, it's quite hard to argue that Odinsson is not deserving of this award over any other player. However, I would say the next best person for the award would lean towards Red Lite yet again.   One thing I did not touch on in the previous award is something that Red Lite does a lot better than Odinsson. And that's the 200 ft game, as being reliable and dynamic in both ends is something that really exemplifies being outstanding that goes beyond just point totals. While while 7 goals ahead and 14 points ahead compared to Red Lite, Gunnar Odinsson only has 55 hits and 21 shot blocks compared to Red Lite's 215 hits and 25 shot blocks. This would mean that Red Lite hits roughly 4 more times than Odinsson per game, and while that might not mean it results in much all the time, it does show the willingness to be physical overall which can result in offensive chances as well as defensiveness overall. And if you keep in mind as well that a lot of Gunnar Odinsson's points are coming from power-play time on a more stacked team, I think it could be argued that if the roles were reversed Red Lite could be having even more of a great season than he is already if he had better teammates around him like Odinsson.   The goal and point total gaps would really needed to be closer to have Red Lite considered for Most Outstanding, but if it comes down to very low single digits for either, I think Red Lite's two-way game pushes him towards the more outstanding between the two.   Aidan Shaw Trophy (Best VHL Goaltender) Current Favourite: Artem Tretiak ( @Molholt) or Zamboni Driver ( @Tape-to-Tape) Darkhorse Candidate: Kevin Malone ( @WentzKneeFan036)   This one I think is an all out race to the finish between Artem Tretiak and Zamboni Driver for who will win the best VHL goaltender award, as they are both having phenomenal seasons in their own right. Tretiak is currently in the running to get the trophy if you value having more wins and more shutouts than the other, or Zamboni would be in the running to win if you value having a better goals against average, definitely seeing how both have the same save percentage at this point in the season.   But one other starting goaltender in the league is having a great season, and that is DC Dragons goaltender Kevin Malone. It's quite easy to say that DC might not near be where they are without him, as you can easily see that DC's roster compared to Riga's and Malmo's is quite noticeable, with the two latter teams having a lot more top end talent and depth for their forward and defender cores. Yet with that being said, Malone is still in the top 10 for both wins and save percentage, and currently ahead of both in regards to that save percentage statistic. This all while also being at a lower TPE, by over 200 compared to both of them.   While it could be a long-shot, I think if Malone stacks more wins and keeps the similar save percentage all while leading DC to be in the top of the North American Conference, we could see quite the unexpected winner of the best VHL goaltender.   Sterling Labatte Trophy (Best Overall VHL Defenceman) Current Favourite: Alex Letang ( @Spartan) Darkhorse Candidate: Victor Grachev ( @KaleebtheMighty)   This is another situation where the best defenceman is quite hard to argue this year, with Alex Letang fully pulling away and already hitting the 100 point milestone in the season with still a good bunch of games left to be played, and that barrier being only cracked a handful of times by defencemen in the past 5 seasons, however there's one defenceman that has risen out of nowhere on the defenceman leaderboards and should get a shot for the award if the gap gets closed more and more.   Victor Grachev I don't believe was in the top 10 for points for defenceman in the league the last time I checked a few sims ago, and now all of a sudden Grachev has cracked the top 3 that was seemingly held by Alex Letang, Kristof Welch, and Robin Galante Nilsson for quite some time this season. And not only did Grachev crack it, but he's done it while being one of the best two-way defencemen in the entire VHL. While Letang might have the point totals, Grachev is making up for by having 26 goals compared to Letang's 18 goals all while having similar hits and shot-blocking totals as Letang. If Grachev continues this remarkable pace of gaining points while still being a beast in his own end, and if he somehow catches up to Letang's point totals we could see a lot more of an argument on who is the top defenceman overall in the league.   I'm quite unsure on where Grachev was on the leaderboards for defencemen at the mid-way point of the season, as maybe I just missed him on the list or if he had a stunning past week of simming, but I was beyond shocked to see him pop up in the top 3 and not being just a run of the mill offensive defenceman. Either way, I think if Grachev is within 5 points of Letang while having the lead on goals (definitely if he cracks the 30 goal mark), I think we could see a shocker at the award ceremony.   Dustin Funk Trophy (Most Improved Player) Current Favourite: Gunnar Odinsson ( @BOOM) Darkhorse Candidate: Pistil Stamen ( @DMaximus)   Now this one is a tough one, as I think it's a very, very slim chance that anyone other than Gunnar is going to be winning the most improved player seeing as he's having one of the best seasons in quite awhile overall in the VHL, but I think some recognization should be given more to Pistil Stamen as he's having quite the similar situation as Odinsson.   If you look at the history of both Gunnar Odinsson and Pistil Stamen, you'll see quite the similarities. For Odinsson, his previous season had him at 21 goals and 22 assists in 70 games and the season before that 34 goals and 36 assists in 72 games. And for Pistil Stamen, his previous season had him at 20 goals and 18 assists in 72 games and the season before that 37 goals and 39 assists in 72 games. Very eerily similar situations where the players have had a down year gap between their last almost point-per-game season, and now having a stellar season overall. However, I would take note that Pistil Stamen is currently stuck as the 2C on his team while Gunnar Odinsson is the bonafide top line winger on his team.   While I think it'll be quite the longshot for anyone else besides Gunnar Odinsson to win the Most Improved, I think the next closest in line to be considered would be Pistil knowing the similar situations of their previous seasons to Odinsson all while being on the second line on their team compared to the first line. The point gap would have to be tightened a lot more for Pistil to get the chance, but never say never.   Christian Stolzschweiger Trophy (Top VHL Rookie) Current Favourite: Jerome Reinhart ( @MexicanCow123) or Tyler Reinhart ( @Zetterberg) Darkhorse Candidate: Papa Emeritus ( @Beketov)   I think everyone knows that this season's rookie race is between the two dynamic Reinhart brothers, and who will pull forward in the race with the season nearing it's end and the point totals only being off by a tad and one good sim for either one of them could be the difference maker and award winning decisive decision.   However, I'd like to take note of one other under the radar player that I think deserves a mention, and although this would be quite the darkhorse candidate, it wouldn't be right if I didn't mention it. I believe Papa Emeritus, who has been under 400 TPE up until recently, has been playing very well in Moscow this season. Despite not being the starting goaltender, Papa Emeritus has suited up for 21 games, and has a record of 4-6-4. Now you might be thinking, "Well, that's not a good look for a goaltender, let alone a backup. Why would the ghoul master himself be near considered for Top Rookie?" Well that my friend is due to the advanced stats. Papa has currently a .929 Save Percentage as well as 3 Goals Against Average. And if you take this into account against the rest of the league, that puts Papa in the top 3 for Save Percentage and top 10 for Goals Against Average. And even when you factor in other similar players who are backing up, Papa has exceedingly more Time on Ice compared to them which is the thing that piques my interest the most.   Although it'd be a hell of a longshot (Sorry Bek) to win the trophy, I think that Papa is an amazing young player that Moscow is going to being using as a starter as soon as next season and will be reaping the rewards of having him on the team without a doubt.   David Knight Trophy (Top VHL General Manager) Current Favourite: Bana @Banackock or Chris "The Inactive" Hylands @hylands Darkhorse Candidate: Gustav @GustavMattias   At this point in the season, it really can be a toss up between many teams on completely re-tooling their teams to make them into top contenders in the entire league. For example, if you look at Seattle's acquisitions in the off-season, they brought in several over point-per-game players in Andrew Su and Valtteri Vaakanainen or if you look to EU Conference and see that Malmo is currently on top of the entire conference and the entire league in standings lead by charge by their main new player Gunnar Odinsson or new star defenceman Scotty Kaberle. These teams have completely built up their team without having to sacrifice too much value, and in return they are now some of the scariest teams in the league.   With that being said, I think one team that some people had their eye on at the start of the season and may have been a bit below expectations but still on pace for being exceedingly better than last season and finally having a good core to build around, and that team is Davos. Finally being able to see a playoff berth on the horizon if they stay on this course, Davos might be able to see the post-season for the first time in over 5 seasons. And this is due to General Manager Gustav making some key trades before the season started, bringing in players like Patrik Laine and Marshall James Frostbeard to round out their core on both ends of the ice, and also acquiring Addison McLaren during the infamous Toronto Fire Sale. While these moves might not have been as rewarding as the ones mentioned above with Seattle and Malmo, I still think Gustav should get some recognition for making Davos into a playoff team despite their window being quite small with the core regressing already.   If Davos keeps up this pace and eventually does make the playoffs and isn't just a first round exit, I would think Gustav has a relatively good chance of being in the top running for the award.   -----------   Thank you for reading my thoughts on some long-shot players/people for some of the awards at the end of the season, and my apologies if I passed up on you for a specific award I touched on. There are more players/people that I think are deserving of each of the awards above, but I wanted to narrow it down to one specific one.   Cheers and best wishes for everyone for the rest of the season and for the upcoming award show!   (2514 words, claiming for weeks ending in 8/22, 8/29, 9/5, and 9/12)

Not any specific teams, I really enjoy playing here.

    3) What do you think is the best part about a sports rivalry?

Definitely the fans, the atmosphere between the fans and the arena is unexplainable

Vat got a reaction from Jubis in S79 VHL TPA Power rankings
A good ol' power ranking coming up.  No biased opinions, no "We HaVe SkIdDiLy McDoO wHiCh MaKeS uS bEtTeR", Tpa rankings is where it's at.  The rules are as followed:

Forward totals are only based on the top 2 lines which as in this power ranking are the top 6 Forwards TPA wise.  This is because that the 3rd (possibly 4th) line will not get nearly as much playtime as the main 2 lines, and having many rookies on a team will make the study significantly less accurate.

Defense totals are also based on the main 2 lines which consist of 4 defenseman, this is because of the same reasons i stated above.

Goaler totals are based on the starting goaler which is decided by TPA yet again.

The team ranking will be decided by the top 6 forwards + top 4 defensemen and the starting goalie.

*The TPA count was July 24th and people have probably updated before i posted this*

    16th.  Helsinki

    Forwards: 16th (2463 TPA)

    Defense: 16th (1482 TPA)

    Goaler: 15th (442 TPA)

    Total TPA: 4387

At the 16th place we have the Helsinki Titans.  After a GM change and one last cup attempt they have decided to start their rebuild which was going to happen sooner or later.
If a team is rebuilding there are quite obviously no top tier player, Helsinki's highest TPA player is Spencer Elsby  at 642 TPA.  Even though Helsinki doesnt have any star players their future is looking bright, they have a total of 5 first round picks in the 2 upcoming drafts, they also have 8 2nd rounders in the 2 upcoming drafts.  This gives them the oppritounity to go for a cup in some seasons after their rebuild is complete.
Their biggest trade is without a doubt their farewell to Patrik Laine:

                                                                                                                          HC Davos Acquires:                               Helsinki acquires:
                                                                                                                               S80 HSK 4th                                         S81 DAV 2nd
                                                                                                                                S81 HSK 4th                                         S80 CGY 1st
                                                                                                                                  Patrik Laine                                          S80 DAV 2nd
                                                                                                                                                                                             Raihan Heavems
                                                                                                                                                                                               Griff Mackenzie

                                                                                                                                                                                              S80 DAV 4th

    15th.  Vancouver

    Forwards: 15th (2844 TPA)

    Defense: 15th (1702 TPA)

    Goaler: 11th (589 TPA)

    Total TPA: 5135

At 15th place we have the Vancouver wolves.  They have a very young squad with the oldest of their offensive core is from season 75.
With their 2nd pick in the draft this year they picked RW Tyler Reinhart Which I think has the most potential out of the team this season and I would not be surprised if he wins rookie of the year.
Altough Vancouver doesnt have the fire power right now i'm certain that they will have a bright fututre if they are able to keep their youngsters and possibly get themselves a top class D pairing.
Their biggest trade is their acquiring of Tyler Reinhart's older brother Jerome Reinhart

                                                                                                                            Vancouver Acquires:                          HC Davos Acquires:
S79 DAV 1st (Jerome Reinhart)         S79 TOR 1st (Poopy Peepants)
                                                                                                                                                                                    S79 VAN 4th (Kacey Burns)
    14th.  Moscow

    Goaler: 16th (385 TPA)

    Total TPA: 5624

At the 14th place we have the Moscow Menace.  At the S79 VHL draft they acquired star goaler Papa Emeritus at 1st overall.  Its safe to say that they dont need to worry about their goaler side.  Although I would try to get in an LW as they only have one in their entire roster, they will also need to worry about UFA next season as they have 7 players hitting UFA next season.
Their biggest trade is their acquiring of the first overall pick which gave them their future franchise goalie Papa Emeritus

                                                                                                                               Moscow Acquires:                                   Los Angeles Acquires:

S79 LAS 1st (Papa Emeritus)                         Alex Letang

    13th.  London

    Defense: 14th (1789 TPA)

    Goaler: 13th (465 TPA)

    Total TPA: 5726

At the 13th place we have London United.  With a young D core and a also a "middle aged" F line up they have a bright future ahead of them especially if they are able to get good picks from their 2 1st rounders this season they have the possibility to enter their time when they are on top of the leaderboard.  As of right now I think that we will see them tank for a season or two then I think that they're team will take off in the standings.
Their biggest trade is their Acquiring of Hex Rose from Seattle.

                                                                                                                                              Seattle Acquires:                     London Acquires:
                                                                                                                                                S80 SEA 1st                                Hex Rose
Micah Adrienne              S79 MAL 3rd (Jacob Costello)
                                                                                                                                                                                     S79 NYA 3rd (Emiko Spector)

    12th: D.C

    Defense: 8th (2393 TPA)

    Goaler: 12th (537 TPA)

    Total TPA: 6172

At 12th place we have the D.C Dragons.  D.C has one of the better Defense TPA's in the league and has a quite young D core to be honest, their F line up needs a revamp to be top of the league especially with Groovy Dood  having to walk in to retirement in the coming seasons.  As of right know they dont have any possibility to be able to pick up a franchise F in the coming drafts because they have 3 picks in the 2 upcoming drafts (two 4th 1 1st).  If they tank another season there is a possibilty they can get a high pick in the S81 VHL draft.
Their biggest trade is their acquiring of Kristof Welch  from Toronto:

                                                                                                                                              Toronto Acquires:                         D.C Acquires:
                                                                                                                                                 S80 DCD 1st                               Kristof Welch
                                                                                                                                                 S81 DCD 3rd
                                                                                                                                   S79 PRG 2nd (Luke Pastrnak)

    11th.  New york

    Defense: 10th (2288 TPA)

    Goaler: 1st (835 TPA)

    Total TPA: 6359

At 11th Place we have the New york Americans.  They have a very young D core and in a couple of seasons they might have the best, their F line is also very young but they did not place higher on the TPA list but they can also have a bright future if they keep up their TPE earning.  Their goalie is the best in the league which is a very reliable thing to know, I cant see too many goals scored on them this season.  I would say that they have the current brightest future with players.  In a couple of seasons I am sure they will be top 3 in the TPA power rankings.
They currently havent made any trades yet so I must leave this segment blank.

    10th.  Davos

    Forwards: 11th (3373 TPA)

    Defense: 9th (2318 TPA)

    Goaler: 8th (747 TPA)

    Total TPA: 6438

At 10th place we have Davos.  Davos has a young D core with a ton of potential for the future.  A prospect that I really fancy in the defensive compartment is Reylyyn Reinhart  .  With the acquiring of Patrik Laine they increased their firepower offensively which was needed since their highest TPA person after Taro Tsujimoto (995) currently has 477 TPA.  With the addition of Laine they could also make a complete first line:
Brian Moreau - Taro Tsujimoto - Patrik Laine
In the coming draft they only have 1 pick which is HSK 4th, next draft they have both a 1st and 3rd rounder which possibly could give them another player to help them trying to win a cup.
Their biggest trade is the addition of Patrik Laine

                                                                                                                                    HC Davos Acquires:                               Helsinki acquires:

                                                                                                                                      Patrik Laine                                          S80 DAV 2nd
                                                                                                                                                                                                 Raihan Heavems
                                                                                                                                                                                                 Griff Mackenzie
                                                                                                                                                                                                  Declan Wolf
                                                                                                                                                                                                  S80 DAV 4th

    9th.  Malmö

    Forwards: 8th (3979 TPA)

    Defense: 12th (2003 TPA)

    Goaler: 2nd (795 TPA)

    Total TPA: 6777

At 9th place we have Malmö Nighthawks.  With a surprisingly young F line up considering that they have the 8th best F TPA total in the league.  Their oldest forwards are only from S72 and S75, everyone else is younger than that.  Their defensive core is a mix between old and young, a new defensive player there wouldn't hurt at all.  But I am sure that with Hylands at the front seat they will become a top team in the future.  Their Goalie is also a good addition as he is the 2nd best goalie in the league.  The goalie quality makes up a bit for their defense but as I said earlier, another defensive player would not hurt them.
Malmö Hasn't made a trade yet either so this area will also be left blank

    8th.  LA

    Forwards: 9th (3571 TPA)

    Defense: 5th (2469 TPA)

    Goaler: 6th (763 TPA)

    Total TPA: 6803

At 8th place we have Los Angeles Stars.  LA has an old defensive core which will be needed to be revamped sooner or later, their star player Jeffrey Penis Pines has switched positions from a forward to a defenseman.  With this switch they might have one of the best D pairing in the league consisting of Pines and Letang, altough their 2nd pairing is where they lack, a 526 Ove Rhydal paired with a 298 Arvid Johansson.  If they would sign a Defensive player with at least 338 TPA they would go from having the 5th best defense in the league to the 3rd best.  Their F lineup has some youngsters along with some rookies, a good combo that always works the F line is where they lack the most but i would not be too worried about it at all.
Their biggest trade was them recieving a top tier defense character for the first overall pick.

                                                                                                                                                  Moscow Acquires:                 Los Angeles Acquires:
                                                                                                                                                    Jocke Jockesson                            Alex Letang
S79 LAS 1st (Papa Emeritus)           S79 MOS 1st (AJ Williams)

    7th.  Prague

    Forwards: 6th (4134 TPA)

    Defense: 11th (2157 TPA)

    Goaler: 9th (618 TPA)

    Total TPA: 6909

At 7th place we have the Prague Phantoms.  Looking above they dont have any outstanding stat but are more of an all around team in terms of TPA.  Prague's offensive line up is at their peak, 7 out of 8 Forwards are retiring in the next 4 seasons or less.  But that doesnt mean that they can't win a cup!  with one or two additions to their defensive core they got a really good chance to go for a cup run and even win it.
Their biggest trade was their move to get Venus Thightrap from Seattle

                                                                                                                                      Seattle Acquires:                                             Prague Acquires:
S79 PRG 1st (Orion D H Chiester IX)                        Venus Thightrap

    6th.  Warsaw

    Forwards: 5th (4211 TPA)

    Defense: 3rd (2517)

    Goaler: 14th (457 TPA)

    Total TPA: 7185

At 6th place we have the Warsaw Predators.  Warsaw's forward lineup is at it's peak, Aloe Dear is a player i'd watch out for here.  Being in a line with Dakota Lamb and Lexi Glass will give Aloe an oppritunity to shine and show the VHL world as both a cup contender for the continental cup and other personal awards.  Their defense is also not anything to joke around with, they have the 3rd best defense in the league for a reason.  The only thing i'd like to improve here is their tendy, 14th in the league for a cup contending team is not going to cut it.  They need a top class goalie if they want to make a cup run, improve that and i think that they have one of the biggest chances to win it all.
Their biggest trade is their trade with Seattle:

                                                                                                                                                   Warsaw Acquires:                Seattle Acquires:
                                                                                                                                  S79 PRG 1st (Orion D H Chiester IX)     S81 WAR 2nd
Leo Strauss           S79 NYA 1st (Sigard Petrenko)
                                                                                                                                              S79 SEA 3rd (Aina Mortas)

    5th.  Toronto

    Forwards: 7th (4075 TPA)

    Defense: 7th (2424

    Goaler: 3rd (784 TPA)

    total TPA: 7283

At 5th place we have the Toronto Legion.  Even though Toronto's F line is very young (youngest player being from S74) they have been able to put themselves at a 7th place in the league overall at the offensive portion.  Their defensive core is not as young but still impressive at 7th overall.  Toronto is an all around team but the thing sticking out for them is their goalie, 3rd best in the league, having a the 3rd best goalie let's the team let go a little bit from the defensive side and will let them focus more on the forward lines.  A good trade for them would be trading for another forward to strenghten their offensive firepower.
Their biggest trade is their acquiring of Vick fairchild and Aurelien Moreau:

                                                                                                                                               Helsinki Acquires:                        Toronto Acquires:

At 4th place we have the Chicago Pheonix.  With two top class centers, almost like McDavid and Draisaitl they have Christian Mingle 975 TPA and SS Hornet with 979 TPA.  Their top two offensive lines are truly a nightmare for goaltenders.  Their top two offensive lines evem contains more TPA (4482) than the whole Helsinki Titans squad (4387).  With a F lineup like that along with the 4th best D core in the the league they will be a force to be recconed with.  That's before seeing that they also have the 4th best goalie in the league aswell, these are my personal favorites to win the cup but feelings don't matter here.
Their biggest trade is their trade with London:

                                                                                                                                              London Acquires:                 Chicago Acquires:
                                                                                                                                               S80 CHI 1st                           Julian Nousiainen
                                                                                                                                               S80 CHI 3rd

    3rd.  Seattle

    Forwards: 1st (4557 TPA)

    Defense: 6th (2467 TPA)

    Goaler: 5th (773 TPA)

    Total TPA: 7797

At 3rd place we have the Seattle bears.  Seattle topping the Forward category is no surprise.  With players like Valtteri Vaakainen, Isabella Campbell and Andrew Su they will not have a hard time scoring goals, but I would be worried about their offensive side, their youngest player is from S76 and second youngest S74.  Four of their offensive player will retire next season too, as it looks like right now in four seasons only one forward will remain.  Their defense also needs a revamp, not as soon as their F but still soon.  I am pretty sure that we will shortly see a Seattle rebuild starting, but they do have a chance to get one last cup!
Their biggest trade is their farewell to Venus thightrap:

                                                                                                                                      Seattle Acquires:                                             Prague Acquires:
S79 PRG 1st (Orion D H Chiester IX)                        Venus Thightrap
                                                                                                                                        S81 PRG 1st                                            S79 CGY 2nd (Ben Aky)

    2nd.  Riga

    Forwards: 4th (4369 TPA)

    Defense: 2nd (2707 TPA)

    Goalers: 7th (752 TPA)

    Total TPA: 7828

At 2nd place we have Riga Reign.  Riga Reign has one hell of a first forward line consisting of Cabe McJake, Justin Lose and Artair McCloud.  Riga is also an all around team, but instead of mediocre placements on defense and forwards they are keeping a high standard with 4th best forwards and 2nd best defense, their goalie is nothing to look over either.  7th best in the league along with the 2nd best defensive crew they will not let in many goals at all.
Their biggest trade was their trade for their starting goalie Zamboni Driver:

                                                                                                                                                   Helsinki Acquires:      Riga Acquires:
                                                                                                                                                        S80 DCD 2nd         Zamboni Driver

    1st.  Calgary

    Forwards: 3rd (4401 TPA)

    Defense: 1st (2893 TPA)

    Goaler: 10th (614 TPA)

    Total TPA: 7908

And lastly the team thats supposed to win it all according to TPA, The Calgary Wranglers.  First of all their D core is amazing, their lowest TPA player here is at 555 TPA which shows us their depth.  With a defense like they have comes a great offensive lineup which they were ranked 3rd overall in the league.  They don't have a super star with tons of TPA but rather more spread out TPA, allowing them to use their depth to the fullest.  The only thing i'd approve here is their goalie.  If they would get an even better goalie than the one they already have i'm sure that they will make a long run into the playoffs and even has the possibillity to win it all.
Their biggest trade was them trading for Dan Dan:

                                                                                                                                             Helsinki Acquires:            Calgary Acquires:
                                                                                                                                                 S80 VAN 2nd                       Dan Dan
                                                                                                                                                 S81 CGY 3rd
                                                                                                                                                 S81 CGY 1st

Review: These TPA power rankings are always fun, nothing to debate with using that. Of course it's not always the full story but it's a good way to look at the strength of a team. I like how you explained what it's based off of, including team logos and using bold. There is one thing that kinda bugs me and that's the offset trades, just one of those details that can drive me up a wall. Otherwise good amount of content here to. great overall 8.5/10
