I guess I could mention some people. @Advantage who has put up with me for a long time, was always willing to help me and who is someone that I genuinely care about away from the VHL. @.sniffuM who I have seen become a great guy after being in leagues with him for a long time. My favorite polish dude. Fond memories of.... @OrbitingDeath Ivo is one of the nicest guys I've met and is an incredible sim leaguer. Shares a birthday and also a Reds fan. Always happy to chat and see what's been going on and it's proved hugely valuable at some low points of my life. @Victor He was very helpful when I first started and is still one of my favorite GM's having been in Davos with him. Incredible knowledge of the VHL @STZ Who I haven't talked to much lately, but is a great guy that it was a always a pleasure to share a team LR with. @der meister Talented writer and boob aficionado who possibly liked 10000 of my LR posts. Nice guy to chat to as well. @Berocka and @dasboot My interactions with them lead me to believe that they are both quality guys and inviting me on to the One and a half Aussies podcast(even though I slept through the start time) has helped restore some self confidence that I'd lost lately. I let them down but they didn't even roast me particularly hard, so that was nice. @thadthrasher Mainly for his posts about mental health and his positive attitude around the forum. Thanks man. There's plenty more, but if you've ever GM'ed me, made me a sig, had me on a podcast or mentioned me in an article or ranking, thank you. The VHL and it's members have helped through some of the shittiest times in my life and I'm grateful to everyone that has played a part in helping me through.

Listened to this last night. Nice rundown of the rankings and trades made. Audio was good and the analysis was helpful for an idiot like me. I'm enjoying the roundtable.

That's pretty great. I missed this place while I was gone, but the quality of the members here proved that I was right to come back. Well done to everyone who donated either for themselves or another member, as well as auction bidders and item donators. I hope both charities and others who will benefit like bushfire relief etc can use the funds for something worthwhile to benefit the community. Seriously, proud of all of us in 2020.

1. Our 13-Win Streak has been snapped. How would describe the run the Marlins have been on and the 13-Game stretch as a whole? It was a great run for sure. It's disappointing that it's over, but the stretch we had was great to watch. 2. During our leagues’ high win streak, what were your two favorite games from that run? I'm not sure that I can single out specific games. To make it easier, the two most productive games that Odinsson had. 3. Now onto the Trade Deadline. With Myself & IR already having made a couple moves, are you satisfied with how the trade deadline was handled by the Marlins’ front office? Sure. You made some decisions to benefit the team and I don't think anyone would begrudge the additions. We need the strongest possible roster for the playoffs. 4. In 32-Games since joining the Marlins, Maksim Yakolevsky [@Nepto] has accumulated 40 points, including 16 goals for the team! Along with being a great addition on the ice, he’s been a vocal member of the team in the lockeroom. What does Yakolevsky bring to the squad that has made him such a great fit in San Diego? I think that he is a great fit for the team. He's highly skilled and balances out the top end firepower of the Marlins. 5. San Diego made some bold moves this past draft, selecting a noncapped defense pairing 1st and 2nd overall, then rolling the dice on an affiliate #1 Center, and two returning VHL greats. With all of those pieces coming together to create what looks to be a contender for the title this season, do you think those moves have already been validated or do you still believe there’s more to prove? Even before the start of the season, the goal was to win the championship. The selections have already been justified but to really be considered a great draft, the title needs to come back to San Diego. 6. Our lockeroom has had some deep discussions about certain VHL policies and procedures in the past and with that we’ll open it up to the Press Conference. If we could shoot on the league for a minute on behalf of our command-n-chief, why should @InstantRockstar get a shot at a GM role in the VHL main, where would you like to see him go, and who would you have take over for the Marlins that is NOT @IamMOOSE I'm not even sure if our GM wants to have a shot at a VHL role but if he does, the team should fully support the move. He's done a great job of assembling the current roster and there's no reason to believe that he can't do the same in the pros. As far as a replacement, I'd support anybody from the organisation that wants the role.
