Yukon with a good win against Las Vegas. Triple H with a great game, he had 3 assists and should have been the first star. Clayton Park with 29 saves on 31 keeps Yukon in the game with a great performance. Great performance by Yukon.

Clayton Park- 20 GP, 7 W, 11 L, 2 OTL, 0.869 SV%, 3.77 GAA, 0 SO, 76 GA, 581 SA
The Yukon Rush have struggled to find their winning ways in the first few weeks of the season. Currently they sit in 6th place with 16 points. The Rush have the 2nd fewest goals for in the league and the 3rd highest goals allowed. They will have to get back to playing solid defense and try to get more pucks to the net. Next up for the Rush is the Houston Bulls followed by the Las Vegas Aces. This is an important stretch of games and they will have to try to turn things around if they plan on going deep into the playoffs. We caught up with Yukon Rush starting goalie Clayton Park and this is what he had to say.
“You know it's clearly not the start we wanted but we continue to work on the little things and work as a team. I am confident if we keep working hard and improving, we can turn this into a decent season! In terms of my play, it has been a big adjustment from junior hockey but I am working hard with the goalie coach to get better every day. One thing the goalie coach has been helping me with is my positioning. As a goalie positioning is one of the most important things and I feel I am improving in that aspect. Every day when I wake up, I challenge myself to see what I can do better to make myself not only a better goaltender but to help my team get more wins. It is an honor to play in Yukon and I am confident the fans will be impressed with what they see from us in the coming weeks."

Hunter Hearst Helmsley with the 1st star. Good to see him rewarded for another great game. Clearly one of the reasons he will be looked at for the 1st round if not 1st overall in this seasons (66) VHL Draft.

I'll agree with TLO, he's probably at around $9-9.5M on a 5-year deal. Same as Matthews, any longer, and you start to get too high an AAV to fit everyone. If he digs in on making more than that, which is pretty crazy given what UFA comps are going for, then you move him and use the assets to fill in for him, as well as the blue line.

Today we explore into the top 5 goaltenders in the S66 VHL draft. This year's draft class has a talented bunch of goalies so it will be interesting to see where they rank in the top 5.
#5- Clayton Park
TPE: 60
VHLM Team: Yukon Rush
Pros: Great rebound control, Very fast Reaction Time,
Cons: Size (smaller goalie), Penalty Shots
#4- Juan Jaundice
TPE: 61
VHLM Team: Saskatoon Wild
Pros: Fast Reaction Time, Great Hand Speed
Cons: Skating, Penalty Shots
#3- Owen May
TPE: 97
VHLM Team: Houston Bulls
Pros: Outstanding Reaction Time & Rebound control, Lightning Fast Hand Speed
Cons: Skating, Penalty Shots
#2- Luke Derion
TPE: 112
VHLM Team: Las Vegas Aces
Pros: Amazing Style Control, Outstanding Hand Speed, Great Reaction Time & Rebound Control
Cons: Skating, Size (smaller goalie)
#1- Wendy Kandee Cain
TPE: 120
VHLM Team: Philadelphia Reapers
Pros: Great Reaction Time, Rebound Control & Hand Speed, Perfect Style Control, Trains Really Hard
Cons: Skating, Penalty Shots
In conclusion these are 5 very talented goalies that have the potential to be successful in the VHL. However, I believe Cain has the ability to be someone compared to the skill level of Carey Price in the NHL. Cain has incredible potential & the Reapers are lucky to have such a strong goaltender. I am confident if Cain is playing his best hockey, he will no doubt lead the Reapers deep into the playoffs!
