1. I mean, seems pretty solid to me! You got me to join, so that's a plus

 

2. Yes, I'm really excited to be here. Twists is a homie on another team with me in a different league, so I'm extra hype to be here. 

 

3. Well I was not here to see it, but from what I've heard Miami got some solid players.

5. I just want to grow consistently. I'm not expecting to be the best immediately, but I do want to get to the highest level in this league and stay there. 

 

6. I really enjoy writing. I've been in a slump for a little while, though, so maybe some new content with a new sport and new league will help me out!

4. I think the VHLM and the VHL have different standards of "winning." If I can be the best GM I can be, give everyone a great experience here on the Aces, and help the folks on the team develop and then get drafted to good teams, I'll consider myself a winner. 

5. I think that Miami will not make the finals even though common sense hints that they do

1. Oh man, I just got into the locker room so I haven't had a chance to get to see how well I play with certain guys. But I would have to say Sandstrom and Waters. I have a good feeling about what we could do together. 

 

2. Compared to the assistant GM, like a 2 or 3 MAX.

Yeah I think so, got all my stuff set up in my apartment, been to town multiple times and know a the quicker route to my favorite restaurant. Visited the strip and had the experience of losing a lot of money too but I don't wanna talk about that

Whoever leads the league is winning and whichever team sits last is losing. Anybody in the middle is doing both

Rookies are all over the place, the VHL needs to hires more scouts

1.  Love to get on the ice and build some chem with veteran LW Chris Reynolds and veteran RW Onde Sandstrome.

5. It's going to be a roller-coaster ride, with lots of ups and downs, as I learn through my rookie season. Going to be exciting and full of "Entertainment"

One of the strange part of my jobs is that I play with everyone on the team, each D-pair and each flight of forwards are my linemates.

It's hot! Much hotter than home, but the casino buffets are no joke!

Obviously when we finish the game with more goals than them. However there are wins that don't feel like it, games where I give up too many goals and get bailed out. We get a W on the schedule, but I don't feel as great inside.

1. Honestly I feel like anyone in the locker room would fit on my line, their all good guys and I look forward to playing with them

2. I say spartan is a 4ish, he's as normal as someone can get from what i can tell so far but I can tell he can get weird, and I like that in a coach.

3. Vegas is a beautiful city, and playing here is an experience for sure, I'm adjusting very well.

4. My definition of winning is having more goals than the other team, we just wanna go out there and play a tight physical game, get the puck on the boards and win those net battles.

5. My hot take? Well I think some underdogs might actually come in and do what we told we couldn't.

Having just moved here I’ve not got to check much out yet. I’m looking forward to hitting the strip and wasting some of my contract money soon tho.

I think winning’s just all about getting the cup here. There’s obviously a lot of development opportunities in the minor league to be a part of a team that plays as a cohesive unit and has a good team environment which is important too.

My hot take for the season is that Las Vegas wins it all. You’ll see us in the finals series getting it done, check it out.

1. Considering I'm one of those free agents, I'm confident that this benefits our team. We picked up two solid defensive prospects that I believe are going to develop into stars

Personal bias aside as one of the players, I'm hoping that the free agent pick ups can be big adds for the team. There's a lot of potential for us as a group to really help the team and I hope that is the case. 

 

2. Would you rather give @fonziGG more hits or let Vegas win more games? (this is a tough one I know)

 

Why not both? The more hits he can get, the better chance we have of winning some games right? If I had to choose one, it'd be tough but I'd probably go with the wins. 

 

3. What is your favorite activity to do outside of hockey?

 

Good question. The answer was a lot more varied pre-Covid, but these days I enjoy gaming and hanging out with friends at a socially responsible distance. 

 

4. Do you think we should be higher or lower in the standings, or are we just right?

 

Being a late addition to the team, I haven't looked too much at how we're doing in the standings relative to our TPE or level of play. Now that we've made some additions to the squad, I think our current standing is probably a little bit low given what our team is capable of.

I love pierogi, anyone who hasn't tried them is missing out

1. We have a plethora (damn look at that word) of young talent thanks to his recruiting. We are a very active group so far, and I think we'll surprise some people.

3. I like playing video games, reading, and eating. Eating is probably my favorite activity lowkey though. 

 

4. Right now, I can't complain about where we are. Our schedule was TOUGH to open up this season, but after playing the defending champions 3 times in 6 games, we have been winning a lot of games.

1. Always good to have more fresh talent. Keeps competitiveness high and gives us options down the stretch.
