It's still quite a switch considering on paper they've been the best team the past 3 seasons. Granted, sometimes it is useful to change things up when they obviously aren't working. Really Beaviss just loves cap hell so constantly acquires players about to hit their prime contracts. Eagles probably worth a bit more but there just isn't a market for goalies so the return was good, all things considered. Riga finally gets a goalie that won't be retired next season and Vancouver keeps things strong while opening the door for Spyro to finally get his shot. Stays competing this season, and gets a asset and another solid player. Crazy to see a goalie swap in such a big deal but given the age it made sense.
