Well a message from me but I’ll try to include what’s going on as best I know for everyone so that you guys are aware.
 
First off, I know not a lot happened in here the last couple of seasons. That’s on us really more than you all and I apologize for it. You all know I had a kid 2.5 months ago and have been around but hit or miss on being able to handle large stuff since. @Josh is in a similar boat now, or will be very soon I’m not sure which. This is why I took the backup simmer role last season and he has it this season, we were trying to break up the thing we were most needed for on a daily basis. Anyway, @Acydburn was obviously brought in but does have some family related things to deal with that I’ll let him discuss if he so chooses to, that’s not my place.
 
Anyway, I have gone through and tried to at least add my 2 cents if not “finalize” the more or less active discussions going on in here. I’m hoping to be able to announce them by the off season if not sooner when applicable so if somehow there’s something to add on be my guest but I think most things were waiting for us.
 
So yeah, sorry, we’ll try and do better. You all keep being your amazing selves and don’t let us get complacent. Just know that life is a bit hectic so we’re around but major overhaul changes have been pushed kinda to lower priority than just keeping the lights on kinda duties.

1). How do the new threads look on @McWolf?
What the fuck, McWolf's an American? I remember the last time he ended up on New York (or at least the first time lol), so I think they probably look great on him, if not a little tattered by this point?
 
2). What was the most surprising off-season move so far?
Me being traded in the E, but I've already griped about it hahah
 
3). Have we shown @InstantRockstar enough love for his amazing goalie?
Too much love, he's gotta make way for the young blood for fuck's sake!
 
4). Did you watch the draft stream?  What would you change about it?
I did not. Everything and nothing, because I've never once actually watched a draft stream.
 
5). Have you ever eaten octopus before?
Yes, it's fucking delicious. Unless you mean in the way that the Deep would? In which case...also yes 😆
 
6). What would your theme song be when skating onto the ice?
Something about money, or burning down rainforests, or union busting? Basically some kind of villain theme song.

But I do get my weekly TPE in, and am going to be a max TPA goalie in the E this season, so you can imagine my surprise when I logged into the forums yesterday and saw that little red notification telling me I've been traded to Istanbul.
 
Now, I've got nothing against Istanbul, it looks like there's a solid team built there, but it's a little frustrating being traded to a team that's got another goalie who will be maxed out this season, and is an active member who I honestly wouldn't want to take starts away from, but that's not really my gripe here. The GM of Stockholm not once reached out to let me know there was a possibility of being traded, or even that I was traded. Far be it for me to dictate how to run a team, but you'd think it might be nice to at least say "hey, thanks for being part of the team, xyz reasons have come up, and you're being traded".

@Quik honestly i had no expectations as a starter lol I slid to 41st overall pick.

apparently Sadie, Lachlan and Richards wanted to play together (which I was not aware of), and Mubbles already had two of the trio, so he offered to swap goalies to make it happen.

Honestly I don't really look at memes so I have absolutely NO clue lol
 
2). What is the one thing you dread the most about keeping active in the VHL?
Before it used to be my point tasks just because I felt like I was doing so many personal gfx for my page I was not getting motivation to do my tasks but now with VSN its a lot of fun! 
 
3). What country is @Quik in today? (hint: not canada)
Switzerland? IDK somewhere cool I bet. 
 
4). As of 10/10/22, four teams in the NA are separated by 6 points, what will it take to get into the playoffs?
Well we didn't make it cause I answered this super late so 💔 boo. 
 
5). What is one attribute you will never utilize or add TPE to?
I've got a pretty consistent build going around 5 main stats so any of the ones outside of that are no bueno
 
6). Should the VHL bring back the forum chat?
Sure why not, they want forum activity, bring back a chat, right? 

I mean, I’m half Indian so you’re kinda right there lol, but also wrong on location. 

1). I missed the last few sims and am too lazy to play; how did I do?
Idk, probably not great? Bezos has been ass after the first couple sims in the E, so...that's fun.

I liked when Peyton Manning screamed Omaha before yelling hike, so I guess all of those.
 
3). Looking back, would you have purchased the original xbox or playstation?
We talking OG consoles? XBox came out with PS2, so not really a super fair comp, but PS1 will always have a place in my heart - Twisted Metal (can't wait for the show), Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, NHL Faceoff 99 ... those were my jam
 
4). Is North American conference playing out how you thought it would so far?
Games are being played, and one team wins every game. That's about what I expected coming into this season.

Current or all time? Current, I only know Bek and Josh (who are the E and M commishes?). I'll go with @Josh, don't think I can hang with him and his wild ways. All time, probably the one commish who will remain unnamed that talked about forming dick cheese - no thanks.

1). How much do you HATE the VHFL format?
 
Hate is a strong word. Here are some better ones: abhor, despise, detest, loathe. TBH, I actually don't care about VHFL all that much, it could be improved, but it's 5TPE max at the end of the day. Meh.
 
2). On a scale of 1-12 (12 being the most, 1 being the least), what would you rate the month of April?
 
Most what? I'll give it an 11/12 as being a 30-day month, so not a full month.
 
3). Who do you think is an under the radar player on New York that no one is talking about as a prediction award recipient?
 
I'd say Poopy Peepants is probably one of the better defenders in the league who is surprisingly not getting a ton of love? IDK, though, I only copied one person's predictions, so maybe they just don't like @JardyB10?
 
4). What ring tone do you use on your personal cell phone?
 
Who the fuck takes their phone off silent in the year two thousand and twenty two of the Lord Jesus Christ? Fucking animals, that's who.

Any time you can add two defensive studs it’ll help your team defence. I look forward to playing behind them.
