This coming VHLM season, Halifax finds themselves in a relatively good spot to get through the expansion draft without losing anything too big, but at the same time, they should be able to stay competitive. This season, Halifax decided to go all in and contend for a third season straight. In doing this, they traded most of their draft picks for the upcoming season. Halifax doesn't have a ton of depth but they have lots of talent condensed into 5 or 6 returning players, a format that works perfectly for the expansion draft. There core for next season consists of top-end defenseman Bolt Vanderhuge, young goalie Chase Klein, flashy sniper Anton Edvin, steady d-man Basaraba Moose, and an all-rounded centerman named Teagan Glover. Whether or not Kozlov, the big bear from Russia comes back for a second season is hard to say, but if he does, Halifax will have 6 solid players to start the season, one at each position. The protection in the expansion draft will be the biggest speed bump when trying to continue as a contender, but it probably won't prove that difficult as Halifax GM McWolf always has some tricks up his sleeve. 197 Words

These are sick! I love your style. What do you use as a basis for creating these images? Do you go by sight and try to make it look as accurate as possible or do you run it through a pixelating software? Either way, these are very well done and I hope you do plenty more of them in the future.

Nice graphic! I can tell you put quite a bit of effort into it. It's clean, attractive and simple, while at the same time including both the Menace's logo and the Russian flag to get the message across. I like how you included a golden bar across the bottom with the word Menace to once again, emphasize the team colours and name.

Bro, this is beautiful. Jesus, I think you are probably one of the best, if not the best writer on the whole VHL site, and English isn't even your first language. No way, I or anyone could have come up with this. And I genuinely mean what I say, I'm not just trying to be nice. I could completely relate with El as the story progressed and when he received the news about his father, my throat started welling up. Dude, if you don't already write as a career, you gotta start. This is an exemplary piece of writing and I'm so glad I decided to do reviewing this week.

I really enjoyed reading this article. You really developed the character of Dave as a guy who is just happy to be playing and can be like a father figure to others. Reminds me of Patrick Marleau. This is one of the most heartwarmingly pleasant biographies I've read in my time on the site.

(For Non-S65 Prospects) Who do you think will be the highest drafted Halifax player this season and where do you see them going? I'd like to give this a shot. I applied when Brands were first made into a concept and didn't get a job. Since then, I've spent two seasons as an AGM in the VHLM and have now had some experience with STHS and such. I really want to try this out as I still haven't had any sort of lead GM job yet although I've been active and its all I've wanted for a long time. I'd preferably like to take over True North Games as Andrew Warren seems to have gone inactive and my player is signed with them anyway. If Brands aren't likely to stick around, don't both with me. I tend to get really invested in what I'm doing and I can't handle the future of my team and job being up in the air. Only hire me if there are plans to put some life into brands and spice it up, because I don't want to be part of a thing that no one even likes.

Welcome back to the league man! I was wondering about you. It's always nice to see old members come back. When I got on Halifax you were still on the roster with Santos so I know you've played for us before, however Halifax is full of contracts at the moment so I can't offer anything. Plenty of teams will have openings next season and since you created after the deadline you have a good chance of leading your draft class if you stay active! Good luck pal!

Getzlaf is better than both Perry and Kesler. They wouldn't make anyone but him captain until he is gone and there would be no point to making Perry or Kesler. They are both washed up. Manson, Rakell, Kase, Lindholm and Fowler are all better choices than captain.
