With the Season 73 VHL Draft coming up at some point, Micah Adrienne has went ahead and listed the top 3 teams that are favorite to him. There are so many teams that he would play for and only 1 that he wouldn't due to his agent's past experience with that team, so with that said, let's look at the top 3 teams for the defenseman. 1. London United - The top favorite team is London United. Now, in talks with @McWolf, he refused to say whether London was located in North London or South London and decided to go with "central". Now, I do not like that answer because everyone knows that North London is better, but we will put them at the top of the list. How cool would it be to be the first ever pick of a team in one of my favorite towns? I would love that. London is a great city and I wanted a team in London for so long. I would love this. 2. Malmo Nighthawks - I have always wanted to play with @OrbitingDeath, so being on the same team as him will go back to the Haan/Willems thing of the SHL. I would love to be on the same team as him, so they will go to number 3 on the list. 3. DC Dragons - Living in DC for a bit, I have always loved this logo and team. I always said that I would end up in DC at some point with one of my players, so why not this one? I do like @Enorama as well, so it would be cool to have him as a GM. So, there you have it, my top 3 teams.

In this article, I decided to do a player spotlight of a couple people in the Season 73 VHL Entry Draft that I do not know a ton about. They both have had a huge impact on their minors franchises, so I think it is important to highlight a little more about them. Without further waiting, here is the highlights! LW Jeffrey Pines @rory Team: Mexico City Kings Nationality: Canadian The first player that I will look at is from username rory who I have not really interacted with much, so I think he's going to be a huge steal. He was drafted 14th overall in the Season 72 VHLM Entry Draft to the Kings. He also played the Season 71 season with Mexico as a waiver signing. The guy is over 200 TPE including getting 42 TPE in the last two weeks. That is really great as this guy has been a solid earner throughout his time. What can you expect from Pines? He is a pass first player that actually can play a lot of defense which is an important attribute. His build is actually really nice as he has focused on passing, defense, skating, and then has scoring just behind passing with enough buffer to be successful. This season has gone splendid as well for Pines. He has 58 points in his 42 games including 25 goals and 33 assists. Now, it is the +/- that really impresses me as he has a +34 with 59 hits, 10 shots blocked, 2 game winning goals, and also plays on special teams as he has 4 power play goals and 1 short handed goal. He is also 3rd on the leaderboard in hat tricks with 2. Right now, he sits 5th in TPE at 204 TPE, 25 behind what people consider to be the consensus top 4. I see this guy being a huge benefit to the VHL team that drafts him. D Mikeal Keef @RStar Team: Minnesota Storm Nationality: Canadian The second player that I have decided to outline is going to be another one I have not really interacted much with either in RStar. He plays for the Minnesota Storm after being picked up by Saskatoon on waivers last season. For Saskatoon, he did have 19 points in 20 games which is really great for a waiver create. This season, he does have 32 points including a fantastic 30 assists while being +22 and having 79 hits and an incredible 42 shots blocked. I really love what this guy can do. When you look at the build of the player, he has gone all defensive with 78 rating in defense as well as 70 in passing as he has shown that is the type of defenseman he will be. I would love to see some strength and checking, but he is going to be a solid asset for any team. Right now, he is positioned in the 15th spot on the TPE leaderboard, but that really does not matter. This is another guy that has had 34 TPE over the last two weeks, so he is going to be an asset. You can put him on the defensive pairing to shut down the opposing team. 1. At 18-4-0 through 22 games we've been one of the hottest teams in the VHLM. What has been the biggest factor to our great start?I think just everyone staying together and grinding. It's about the team. 2. What is the one aspect you feel your player has excelled in the most this season?I feel like I want to be better than I have. I need to be better, so, I am not sure about that. 3. What is one aspect you feel your player can improve the most at this season?Everything, I need to be so much better playing. I need to make a bigger impact. So, I need to do everything better. 4. Ottawa has had our number this far this season, beating us in our two matchups. With another game against the Lynx coming up, what can we do to emerge victorious this time around?I think we just need to keep at it. We need to score more goals and stop their team from scoring. Just keep at it. 5. Who has been the team MVP this season thus far?Nils gets my vote. Look at his stats, he is going to be the MVP, he has been absolutely awesome. 6. Who has been the most surprising success story for us this season? I would say Matty Socks. I would have to agree with everyone else. What a job so far.

A recent draft scouting had Micah Adrienne picked 3rd in the upcoming VHL Draft. Now, let's take a look at possible destinations for the young brother of Condor. Right now, we look at the bottom 5 teams and look how he would fit with those teams. DC Dragons: The DC Dragons still have their first round pick, so how would Adrienne fit in on DC? Honestly, I have always loved the team. I used to live in DC in real life, so this team has a close place to my heart. I obviously know Enorama from many leagues, so we have a relationship there. Now, does DC need defenseman? They have George Washington, Luciana Valentino, Ricky Johnson, and Charles Drumm on defense. Now, Drumm is Season 67 and Washington is Season 69 while the other two are Season 68. So, they do have defense pretty much set. I am not really sure which way they will go, but I would be happy to go to DC without question. Vancouver: Vancouver (from New York): Vancouver has two picks in the first few picks right now, but how would Adrienne fit here? They have Brock Louth, Griff Manzer, Jeff Downey, and Smitty at defense. So, with Smitty regressing, they probably could use another defenseman to replace Smitty who will be regressing hard. Now, I think they could use someone that will spend another year in the VHLM since Smitty would be good for another year or two. Does Adrienne fit here? I would love to go back to Vancouver. I spent the last season with Davison here and I always welcomed going back here. I think this would be fun. Malmo (from Davos): Malmo Malmo has two picks here with Davos' pick as well. They will be taking MJF with one of the picks (nice), but how about the second pick? This is just a story waiting to happen. Adrienne playing with his brother. This is perfect. This is seriously a storybook story. Can I say anymore? I do not think I need to.

1. How was your first game in the VHLM? If this isn't your first season, how'd it feel to be back? It was my first game in the Aces jersey with the A, it felt good. I love playing with @Spartan. I have been watching him for a while. 2. How do you feel about the first week of the season? Pretty good. We have had a really good start of the season. I am very happy with it. 3. Do you think we can maintain the pace that we are on? Yes, we can and we will do that. 4. What's your signature move after you score a goal? I go with the dusting of my skate. I don't score a ton though. 5. If your player had a documentary made about them, what would the title be? Micah Adrienne - Taylor Swift and Hockey 6. You just won $1,000,000 on a lotto ticket. What's the first thing you do? I would buy a ticket to every Taylor Swift concert.
