  1. I thought it would be interesting to see who has been the past 3rd overall picks as I was picked 3rd in the last draft. I will go back to the Season 69 draft and see who was picked, how they did, and everything like that. I hope you enjoy. Season 69 Guy Sasakamoose In the Season 69 draft, it was a defenseman, Guy Sasakamoose who went 3rd overall to the Riga Reign. Today, Guy is up to 808 TPE which means he has consistently earned and has been a fantastic piece to the Riga team. He has played 288 games for the Reign scoring 32 goals and having 136 assists for a total of 168 points. He does have a +37 as well as 280 hits in those games. I would have to say that his biggest impact came from the Season 72 Playoffs where he had 11 points in the 13 games that he played. He had 2 goals, both came on the PowerPlay, both were game winning goals. How is that for a 3rd overall impact? This guy has been awesome, so very great 3rd overall pick here. He was also picked at 245 TPE when he was selected. Season 70 Odin Omdahl In the Season 70 Draft, it was another defenseman in Odin Omdahl who ended up being taken by the Seattle Bears. It is pretty funny because when you look at this guy, he has similar statistics to Guy Sasakamoose as he has 32 goals, 95 assists for a total of 127 points in his 216 games for the Seattle Bears. He is also around the same trajectory for Guy as he has 777 TPE currently. His biggest impact came in the Season 71 playoffs where he had 4 goals, 12 assists and 32 shots blocked. That was a fantastic playoffs for Omdahl. Omdahl was 3rd in TPE in the entire class, so there was no surprise when he went 3rd overall to the Seattle Bears. Season 71 Ola Vikingstad Hey! I was expecting to have all defenseman here, but I suppose we can have a forward in here as well. This pick ALSO was a Seattle Bears pick as they took Vikingstad, a native of Sweden. Vikingstad is a lot more of a goalscorer as he had 30 goals last season and a total of 54 points. That number is going to continue to rise as this guy just gets better and better. Another similar trajectory as Vikingstad has 707 TPE currently, still on Seattle. This was another amazing pick by the Seattle Bears. They continue to crush their 3rd overall picks, well, at least for the last few seasons. Season 72 Latrell Mitchell This time, well, it is back to defenseman as clearly people love to pick defenseman at the third overall pick. We have Latrell Mitchell going here, this time to the Calgary Wranglers. We have a consistent earner as Mitchell has 506 TPE currently only a season away from being drafted. In his first season, he had 8 goals, 10 assists, for a total of 18 points, but a +25. As someone who focuses a bit on defense, this makes a lot of sense. He had 122 hits and 73 shots blocked as well. Latrell will look to develop his offensive game in the near future. So, there we have it. The tale of threes was absolutely defensive. I went into this not really knowing where it was going to go, so I hope you enjoyed.
  2. What are you buying me @OrbitingDeath
  3. Being passed over twice makes me want to work that much harder. Let's do this, Vancouver, I am not going to let you down.

  5. Micah Adrienne Height: 6'6" Weight: 250 pounds Birthplace: ?? VHLM Statistics Season 71 (PHI) - 23 games, 4 goals, 13 assists, 17 points, +15, 21 hits, 29 shots blocked Playoffs: 7 games, 0 goals, 2 assists, +3, 15 hits, 10 shots blocked Season 72 (LVA) - 72 games, 23 goals, 49 assists, 72 points, +46, 250 hits, 104 shots blocked Playoffs: 6 games, 3 goals, 6 assists, 9 points, +4, 21 hits, 9 shots blocked PROS Defense (87) When you look at Micah Adrienne, he is ready go to defensively. He may be one of the most ready players in the draft for that reason. You can instantly toss him on the penalty kill and be happy with what you see. Now, you are going to get some mistakes from this guy just given the fact that he is so young. He is only 16 years old, so you are definitely going to be getting some of that mentality. However, defense is his strong suit, he will be happily stepping into that role. Checking (69) I think one thing that really goes into the defense is his checking ability . During last season for the Las Vegas Aces, Adrienne had 250 hits, causing his opponents be always looking around for where this 6'6" body was. I think he will continue doing that at the next level. He needs to continue to develop this, but it's something that you will get from him, without question. CONS Passing (61) Now, one of his shortcomings will come on the offensive side of the ice. He is not a great passer at all. He makes silly passes and really sometimes has no idea where he is going with the puck. At the VHLM level, you may be able to get away with passes like that, but at the VHL level, you best believe that you are going to be sat at the end of the bench and told how much you suck. People in the VHL will make you pay for stupid passes like he did for the Aces. He needs to be better, but offense is just something he has to work harder at. Puck Handling (70) I think on the same lines as passing, puck handling is something he needs to work at. When you look at some of the times he has just been stripped of the puck so easily, you know that he needs to work on it. Somehow, he put up 23 goals last season, no one really is sure how. With every goal he scored, he was curious how it got there. You see him on the ice and wonder why he even tries to touch the puck. It's something he needs to work on, definitely.
  6. After the harsh (and silly) step down from the position of Las Vegas Aces General Manager, Tyler Swift is making a run once again. He has been beefing up his resume in order to become General Manager once more. We did have a chance to talk to him. An interesting approach from Tyler, but will it pay off? Let's see!
  7. Applied with my fellow Taylor Swift frend. Obviously, I have STHS and understand the landscape of the VHLM. I have the most average TPE out of the current class and haven't missed capping any week. Id love to help recruit and everything you need as an AGM. Any questions, you know where to find me. ... are you ready for it?
  8. Before my draft with Davison, Blaide was named the "advisor" for the Meute which caused Bushito to go apeshit and flip out. It ended up having him say he'd rather recreate than pick me. Now, you were named an "Advisor" as a draftee in the draft before the draft.
  9. I am having flashbacks... this is deja vu all over again. Congrats @Advantage
  10. The end of the season just came for the Las Vegas Aces as well as the Draft Lottery happened. With the DC Dragons getting the first pick, Malmo second, and Vancouver 3rd, it will be interesting to see where Micah Adrienne will end up. There are a lot of mocks that has Adrienne going in the top 2 picks, but where will he end up? First, we caught up with him who had some end of season thoughts. @Spartan
  11. With the Season 73 VHL Draft coming up after the Las Vegas Aces with the Championship, there is an important question to ask, who should you choose, Tyler Walker or Micah Adrienne? Well, how about I help you with that. Tyler Walker was a -10 in his rookie season with the San Diego Marlins. Why would you want someone that had a negative impact on his team. Micah played 4 more games than Walker did and had a +15 in the rookie season. So clearly, you should pick Adrienne. Look at the defensive attributes. On defense, you want Checking and defense. Tyler Walker has 50 checking and 80 defense. Micah Adrienne has 69 checking (nice) and 87 defense. Why do you want someone that is purely offense on your team? No one likes a showoff. Walker had 60 hits on his opponents. You want someone who is soft and refuses to hit someone? Mich Adrienne had 250 hits. You do the math, do you really want someone who cannot hit. Also, if you want someone who puts stuff into scoring, at least make sure he scores more goals. 23 goals is more than 21 by my last count. So, there, why would you choose Tyler Walker? I am not seeing the evidence. @Advantage I hope you enjoyed this piece of humor. I do plan on keeping up our rivalry for a while, so enjoy the ride.
  12. I'm around too. I'd be interested in this. I apply.
  13. @Spartan - why do you cheat so much that they have to make a rule against you?

  14. On average, how many times a week do you hurt yourself trying to dance in the shower? When You Dance In the Team shower are you dancing alone? Or is it a team effort? I do hurt myself, but I don't shower. I am dancing alone in the team shower for sure. What’s the most money you’ve ever drunkenly spent at McDonald’s? What did you get? I spent 32 dollars. I got 32 dollar cheeseburgers. Not a bad deal, honestly. On a scale of 1 to 10, how intolerable do you find players that post their entire lives on their insta ? Probably about 13. How many bowls of cereal do you eat every single day and why aren’t you eating more? Zero, cereal is for losers. Who on your team would you let punch you directly in the face no questions asked? I would let @Spartan probably because he's a lame-o. How many days have you gone without showering? Did people notice? Who showers, what the hell is the shower?
