    1. not too much besides Torontos 6th overall pick. I think that's going to be a huge pick.
    2. I think it's cool to see so many new GMs stepping up, like how @Spartanis moving on to moscow.
    3. I'm not entirely sure, I would like to but I don't see myself being chosen.
    4. This is my second ever offseason with the team, but I feel like the locker room banter is nice to read.
    5. I expect us to shock the hockey world, I mean we're getting some pretty decent players next season.
    6. I think I'll just shoot for 100 points. Double this seasons and get the league talking about me again.

NickSunderbruch got a reaction from G_Rush in My Experience So Far
I've been part of the Toronto Legion for two seasons, and I'd like to share some of my experience and what I've learned from my time in the League and in my locker room. I'll start off with my time in the VHLM for a brief moment as I have some people in mind I want to talk about in particular. So I was picked up as a free agent in season 72 and it was an awesome experience at first. I was welcomed into the Vegas locker room by @Spartanwho took a chance on a first gen free agent who played in 2018 but quickly went inactive. So him taking a chance on me like that was a huge confidence booster, and really showed how confident he was in himself to get me to be able to update. I also met some linemates in my first season like @fonziGG , @G_Rush, and @Crstats23who all showed me immense love and support. My second season seemed to fly by as I was on the second line with @frescoelmo , The second season was even more enjoyable than the first. Mainly because we made a deep playoff run and were a top contending team. I was capped by the time playoffs arrived so I knew I was going to move up. While I was saddened when we lost in 7 games to the eventual champs, I was still happy to play alongside my teammates for the last time.

Then I was tossed into the pros, I stepped into the Toronto locker room, and things felt kind of off for me. I knew that we were a team who wasn't going to be competing and I was happy to just pad my stats and move forward hopefully to the ROTY award. We had some, unsavory, people making the Toronto locker room kind of hostile feeling and it made me less keen to want to update. But my rookie of the year race pushed me forward. While at the end of the season, we didn't make the playoffs and it was apparent I wasn't in the discussion for ROTY, and I was okay with that, but the locker room presence hadn't changed much. You see we had some, as you'd say conflicting personalities in the locker room, and they ended up eventually being traded away as they didn't seem to fit with the locker room dynamic @Peacewas trying to build. I was relieved to see that I could breathe in the locker room, however the damage was already done.

My sophomore season in Toronto started off rough, I was putting up some points but not nearly at a pace I was satisfied with, and on top of the locker room shock I had experienced I had many new things pop up in my real life. I gradually started updating less and less, I felt my interest not just in the league, but with hockey itself start to fade. And that's when I knew something was wrong. After a few weeks of this, I started to actively participate in the league again. I didn't know where to begin, but it was at the end of the season so I knew that it was too late for me to help change the season around for my team. And honestly I feel insanely guilty for that, my not updating likely caused us to lose key games that were close. We ended up getting the 6th overall pick, and we did fairly well in the draft lottery. So the future absolutely seems better. I'm going to be updating more and I'm going to try and make my GM and team proud.

I'll always remember what Peace told me when he drafted me back in S73, he told me he thinks I had the potential to be the biggest steal of the draft. I don't personally think that I was, however I'm going to make sure I am now. Toronto is back on for S77, and we're going to win the cup with style. I hope you all enjoyed this article this week, give me some ideas for things I can cover around the league for next week. Anyways, take it easy, stay warm, and stay icy. Seacrest out.

NickSunderbruch got a reaction from Spartan in The best VHL player returns
So Sunderbruch has been silent as of late and a big reason for that is he's been hitting the weights to bring his strength up. With a 90 in defense and a 91 in scoring Nicholas is looking to bring turn 62 in strength into a 70. Nicholas is also looking to score more than 50 points next season. While 50 points is nothing to scoff at, Nicholas wants to score all that in goals. Last season Nicholas was over a point per game at 74 points, and in return with all those points came the double edged sword, he had a +/- of -28. This season Sunderbruch has a +/- of +4 bringing his career to a -24, and he hopes to bring that to at least a 0 in the next few years.

I would say that stats aren't everything, but honestly your stats help determine how useful you've been to your team and is a good way of determining a net of your worth on the ice. Nicholas wasn't upset with his 50 point season, but he wasn't exactly okay with it either, the young left winger feels like he's able to produce much more in the future if he can knock more people off the puck. You see, this man isn't happy just being a solid player on his team, he'd rather be the on his team can turn to in a pinch. His attitude in interviews have been more than enough to make him a fan favorite in Toronto.

While I acknowledge that stats are important, I also think that locker room chemistry is important, however how does this young Sophomore interact with his locker room? Well Nicholas gets along well enough with everybody, but it seems he only pops in from time to time to se how everyones doing and to let them know he's high on cough medicine or something like that. Nicholas said that working closer with his teammates will allow him to reach a higher potential. Nicholas was always active in his locker room in the minors but not as much so in the major leagues. We'll see how things turn out for him in his locker room.

This article took me a while to make, a big reason I haven't been updating outside of my personal life being hectic is my inability to come up with new ideas for articles that are fresh and new. I'm not okay with continuing to make top ten articles for Nicks Picks, because honestly they're not very fun to make. I'm also not very good at excel or graphing so I'm not very good at breaking down statistics into visual works, which greatly limits my ability to be creative. I am pretty decent at video editing, but I don't want to spend a whole week working on just one thirty second video. I'm always open to suggestions in the comments, so please give me some input on what you would like to see me do for my point tasks. Anyways thank you all for reading, I hope you're having a wonderful night. Stay warm and stay icy, seacrest out.

Season 77's entry draft is about to be an amazing draft with some many recreates at the top of the list. So we're going to take a look at a couple of players in this draft and try to determine if they are a Gem or a Bust.

106 points this season, and I think that he's looking good to be a GEM.

Does anything really need to be said about Ricer? His players are always going to do well.
A solid defenseman in his rookie season already at 257 TPE. By this time next season He'll likely be around 500 TPE and a solid player for any team.
So I think that this GM is going to be a GEM.

I wanted to take a look at a player not likely to go in the first round as this can be where some huge gems are.
A first gen player looking to make a name for himself in this league. I respect that.
His stats aren't much to look at but he only really played half the season. I feel like he's going to be a key piece for whoever drafts him when he's capped.
I see this going either way, but I'm going to give my cheesy friend the benefit of the doubt and call him a GEM

I feel like since this is a recreate by the man who runs the draft class rankings, that he's going to definitely be sought after early.
Potentially a first overall pick (maybe?) this recruiter has put up 84 points this season with Houston.
A great center no doubt, but again the problem with centers is the fact they have to put points into FO.
So honestly this could go either way, but I don't think he's a gem but I don't know if I'd call him a bust.
So I'm gonna flip a coin (sorry my guy I just suck with numbers)

Duncan might play right wing, but he's liberal with the goals he scores. (haha)

Well for him to be a bust I have to be able to bring myself to critique people I like, and thats not gonna happen.

Season 77's entry draft is about to be an amazing draft with some many recreates at the top of the list. So we're going to take a look at a couple of players in this draft and try to determine if they are a Gem or a Bust.

So Paul looks to be possibly going first overall in this upcoming entry draft.
106 points this season, and I think that he's looking good to be a GEM.
Our very own VSN Head Editor is going to be decimating the competition this season.

    And the results are in..
    He is a

My second favorite updater has a recreate! And I'm excited to see how he does.
With 80 points this season he did really well with Houston, who has players all over this list.
Duncan might play right wing, but he's liberal with the goals he scores. (haha)
Anyways do I think that this man is going to be a gem or a bust?
Well for him to be a bust I have to be able to bring myself to critique people I like, and thats not gonna happen.

I put the most clickbait title I possibly could to get your attention. No Nicholas Sunderbruch isn't the next Gretzky. I just wanted to randomly ramble aout the VHL and the VHLM. So I'm gonna just go ahead and start talking about random shit in the league, I'm too tired to make sense.

I really enjoy the minor league a lot, it felt kind of like just a group of friends constantly talking to each other and bonding in the locker room, and to be fair Toronto's locker room has started feeling the same way now that some people who shan't be mentioned were traded. So now that my locker room feels safe to breathe in again, I'm glad to say that this is easily the second best locker room in the entire league VHL or VHLM. The first best locker room absolutely belongs to the Vegas Ace's.

And while I'm on the subject of locker rooms, I kinda wanna join some more of them just to get a feel for what everyone in the league is like. I feel like I could really get along with most people here as we're all crackheads in our own right. I'm not entirely sure how many people are okay with my being like that, but I guess I'll find out.

Also I want to make a vote to transfer ownership of the entire league over to @Spartanbecause it would be funny. Especially since Spartan is like, the one true God and shit.

NickSunderbruch got a reaction from Greg_Di in Nick's Picks #11 My Thoughts On The Draft
So as some article the other day suggested, I was indeed at the draft. I watched new teammates being selected and I watched potentially some new rivals being picked up. I took a few fat rips off my bong out back, I grabbed my pen and notebook, and I took notes of this draft class and I have to say, I'm impressed. This may have been one of the best draft classes in a while. So without further delay let me proceed in my post draft analysis.

I think it's safe to say that this may have been one of the best top 10 draft classes in a couple seasons, I mean the TPE totals were pretty nuts, with plenty of great VHL ready players who won't have to spend time in the minors this season. Among these draft picks that impressed me are the following; Red Lite @Tate1st overall to the New York Americans, a team who is now looking scary based on their prospects and this draft. Kristof Welch @Juice 5th overall to the Toronto Legion, a team who's already out of their rebuild phase, after just one season. Welch has a promising career as he did pretty great in the minors already with 53 points in 63 games as a defenseman. Tom Eagles @Greg_Di3rd overall to the Calgary Wranglers, a promising young defenseman with a decent offensive game putting up 64 points in Philly this season.

This draft class was great in the first round, but how do we know that these players will be able to deal with the pressure of the VHL? Well we really don't know that, that's what makes the draft just as exciting after the fact, because we'll know who was a gem or who may have been a bust. Right now I'm going to give my predictions on who in the top 5 is a Gem or bust based off of my own observations, remember that this article is incredibly opinionated rather than grounded in factuality.

    1. Red Lite Elite
This one was a little tougher, because 1st overall doesn't absolutely mean that you'll instantly be a franchise player. I have no way of telling how good Red will be in the big leagues until he makes his start this season. Until then I'll leave him as an Elite level player. And not a bust.

    2. Battre Sandstrom Franchise
A point per game offensive defenseman, 2nd overall, great stats, and a lot to live up to.
I see this being a story of a franchise level defenseman taking his team to many cups in the future.

    3. Tom Eagles Elite
What else is there to say? I went over his stats, and made sure to note him as impressive. I think this young man is going to do great things in his career in the VHL, and I have nothing but high hopes. He's not quite franchise level, but he's absolutely a great pick for 3rd overall.

          4. Hulk Hogan Jr Hall Of Fame
Did I put him here as a joke? Or does he have hall of fame potential? Well anyone in the top of the draft has potential to be a HOF player.
However I think Hulk Hogan Jr will be just as sensational as his father before him.

    5. Kristof Welch Franchise
He's with Toronto, that's good enough to earn him a franchise tag with me. I see Welch as a potential solution to most of the problems that Toronto has on ice, a good defenseman with a great build and ability to score. I see this being nothing but a win for Toronto. Kristof has an excellent future ahead of him, and I've already heard his jersey is selling hot in Toronto already.

Anyways thank you all for your time today, I appreciate everyone who reads these articles and everyone who doesn't. Much love to everyone in this league. NickSunderbruch got a reaction from JigglyGumballs in BREAKING NEWS Nicholas Sunderbruch found stoned outside of draft
#21 Nicholas Sunderbruch was found at Friday's draft outside taking advantage of the legal marijuana laws in Canada. He was hiding outside of the draft by the back door bushes smoking out of a 3 foot long glass bong that appeared to have a custom Toronto Legion  sticker wrapped around it. We tried to get a comment from the star player and here's what he had to say.

Reporter: Nicholas images of you smoking cannabis outside of the draft have came into the light recently, what do you have to say for yourself?

Nicholas: I mean, I don't see the big deal man. It's perfectly legal and I'm not hurting anyone. Hell I'm stoned right now.

    Reporter: You're stoned right now?

StudMuffin: yeah I'm always at least a little buzzed, it helps me focus and has kept me off of REDACTED and Alcohol.

Reporter: What do your teammates think about this? Do they think you need help?

BasedGodxx69: My teammates kinda just let me support my own mental health like this ya know? I think I've passed a doobie around the LR before too.

Reporter: Thank you for your time today Mr. Sunderbruch

PuffDaHerb420: Yeah man no problem? Wanna hit this?

    Reporter: I certainly do

We know this story might be a little different, but we thought it best to bring this information to the publics attention as quick as we could. Because we here at the Nick's Picks News Network believe it our civic responsibility to show you all that Nick is one cool cat. Further rumors have it that Nicholas has been seen smoking with Marilyn Manson and Johnny Depp Image attached below for affect. Warning this photo may be shocking.
