1. Let's not dwell on past seasons or poor performance. J.H. Dewberry Kalin is here to wreak havoc on the league and bring Houston a championship. Nothing of the past matters now.
2. That's a lot of goals - if you were a single player. J.H. Dewberry Kalin will get that many goals alone this upcoming season. His quick feet and large frame is too tough to stop.
3. Most likely the absence of heart-on-the-sleeve type players. J.H. Dewberry Kalin brings that to the team this season. He is nothing but a dominant force. An overflowing muffin top of a hockey player.
4. No, sometimes players are elite and just can't win championships, but their stats speak for themselves. It's a team effort that wins championships. Sometimes the management and the team isn't there to support those types of players.
5. Not sure. J.H. Dewberry Kalin is the one people want to play with. He's a natural talent - we will see who is able to keep up!
6. Goodbye AJ. I bet you were a goof AGM and deserve the best moving forward - too bad you weren't here now to see J.H. hit the ice and light it up!

Motzaburger reacted to VattghernCZ in Looking back at the Gladiators' training camp
With training camps wrapped up, let's look at which players stood out in the Gladiators' camp.
In the weight room, John Poremba Jr @CrlineDijohn14 and Joey Coaster @FANTEIGE really stood out with their strength, that's what you definitely want to see from your defensemen and centers.
When hitting the ice, the speed of Curtis Crumb @Crummer77 was noticeable immediately during the opening laps, with Hasbulla Magomedov @Motzaburger not far behind. Closing the laps were Joey Coaster and Akio Suzuki @Erik, who looked like they might need more time to get their legs to midseason shape. Curtis Crumb's control of the puck at speed looked really, really good, almost as if it was attached to his stick by a string. Good luck separating him from the puck when he's in possession. Hasbulla Magomedov and Rhys Trenton @DeeGoat looked really strong with the puck as well.
During team scrimmage, Tom Creeg's @Creegan610, Akio Suzuki's and Hasbulla Magomedov's ability to deliver the puck to their teammates was always a treat to watch. Once in the offensive zone, especially Suzuki's, Creeg's and Left Alone's @okochastar ability to create offense and to finish was above the rest, and the offensive play of John Poremba Jr from the blue line is definitely worth mentioning as well. On defensive side, Nicholas Blue @lidz and Jens Lekman @Bobcat were never out of position and often showcasing their ability to intercept the attackers' passes. Among forwards, defensive positioning, stick checking and play without the puck of Wann Kerr was miles above the rest of the team, no doubt he will be Gladiators' primary penalty killer in the upcoming season.
Joey Coaster looked by far the strongest in the face off circle, really utilizing his physical strength by pushing the opponent away from the puck. Wann Kerr looked good as well, those two are probably your 1-2 punch down the middle.
Another thing that stood out was Joey Coaster's willingness to play the body. Combined with his physical strength and 6'5" frame, he's a freight train, you definitely wouldn't want to be at the receiving end of his hit. Rhys Trenton's physical play will also be a huge asset in stopping the opposition's transition game.

Motzaburger reacted to Baby Boomer in All roads lead to Rome (and to the Cup) ep.27 (New players, Captain and Assistants for S83)
Welcome Everyone,
The regular season in the VHLE started yesterday and the Rome Gladiators had zero defenceman in their roster and the season was going to be a long one again for the Gladiators. However, the team made the impossible and signed three defenceman who will play in the VHLE this season, creed@assassin6898, Trevor Wallace@LilHCorny and X Man@Xalen11. I want to wish them the best of luck with their new team and for the rest of their career even though creed and Trevor Wallace already said that it was going to be their last season. It was also time to name the captain and the assistants for this season. The captain of the S83 Rome Gladiators is Justin Adolfsen @NJDevils24 and the assistants are Russel Dixon @Rjdixon01 and Hasbulla Magomedov @Motzaburger. Congrats to all three of them and I hope they will lead the team to a great season.
Thanks everyone, see you next week and let's go Gladiators!!!

Motzaburger reacted to Baby Boomer in All roads lead to Rome (and to the Cup) ep.25
Welcome everyone,
The playoffs are finally over in the VHLM, the VHLE and the VHL. The off-season can finally take place and we will soon know the dates of the draft in each leagues and the beginning of the free agency. In this little article, I will talk about our new rookie, the left wing Hasbulla Magomedov @Motzaburger. He played last season in the VHLM with the Mexico City kings and the Ottawa Lynx after the trade deadline. With both teams, Hasbulla scored 24 goals and added 36 assists for a total of 60 points in 72 games. Magomedov made the playoffs with Ottawa and registered 2 goals and 3 points in 12 games. Rome's GM said he believes that Hasbulla Magomedov is going to be an important piece on the ice for the Gladiators. He also said that if Rome wants to be competitive next season, Hasbulla is going to need to have a great season.
Thanks everyone, see you next week and let's go Gladiators!!!
