The plan is to move the restart back and then continue to reschedule it so it never actually happens.

I don't get how a restart is appealing for some people. It increases chances that someone in a good position currently ends up somewhere that is a not so good position. It may appeal to newbies because drafts are exciting, but you risk shaking the current member base too much. I think a rebrand rather than a restart would be cool. Retire all the current teams and completely revamp that.

The VHL season has come to a close and this means that the draft is right around the corner. With the draft lottery already taking place, our order is now set in stone unless a team decides to make a move prior to sending in their pick. One of the players that could possibly go first overall, Titan Kronos, has not been quiet when discussing what he thinks the Riga Reign should do. Kronos has been self promoting himself since he entered the VHLM last season. While the routine has worn on many, it seems to be working out quite well for the young player as there are reports that RIga definitely has him in consideration for first overall. When asked why going first overall means so much to him, Kronos held nothing back. Whenever Kronos hears his name called in the upcoming draft, he will be one of the few players to ever be drafted twice. According to him, Quebec made a mistake. Kronos also decided to share a little draft day secret.

Dear VHLM, I am writing this letter to whoever the hell is in charge of this place to let you know one thing...I am glad that I am being drafted. When I entered the VHLM, I thought that I would be taking part in a minor league development program that allowed me to get better at what I want to do for a living. While I did have some opportunities close to this, they were not of the level I thought they were going to be. Allowing me one additional practice hour a week was not much of a help. As the current top practice in the VHL, I am going to be entering the league right at about 200 practice hours total depending on how some of my other ventures go for me. For most people, this would be a huge drawback for them. Luckily for you and your pockets, it did not deter me from accomplishing my goal of being the best player in this class. All season, being apart of the VHLM felt like being the younger brother of a much better athlete. People know you are there. They may even give you a slight nod if they see you out in public, but all they really care about is how your brother is doing. The VHLM didn't prepare me to play against the best players hockey has to offer, it made me consider changing course and maybe even jumping to a different sport. The spotlight was small, even for the best players in the minors and I can't help but wonder how many people have been lost during that process over the length of this league's existence. You have to make people feel important and while that wasn't something that directly effected my motivation, I can see how there have been draft classes with minimal talent. The VHLM needs to be elevated. It needs proper advertising and something else added to make this minor league feel important. I, Titan Kronos, am glad that I will not have to spend anymore time in this crap. I am a star and I deserve to have the entire world watching me. Fuck you VHLM. I didn't realize the amount of talent in this draft. Would be a honor to go before any of those guys. Nice write up @Kendrick. Now back to in character...... I should be first and second overall! You have a better chance winning a cup by taking my shadow at #2 than by taking one of these bums!

Review: Maybe it's just me, but taking in a young guy like that is always the route to go. His value in the trade market could easily net you something more valuable than the sixth best goalie in the long run. Whether he stays or not, you have that position filled so it seems like a win-win in my eyes. Although I could have no idea what I am talking about in this league regarding this. Good article with nice insight on the decision.

Review: I've never seen The Bachelor so I'm going to assume that this version is very similar. May have to start DVRing it at the rate. Keep it going! We better see this damn thing played out until the end. I'm tired of seeing things like these in sim leagues where they get started and never actually get a ending to the story

Review: Can't score if you ain't shooting! I knew the series what going to be a sweep whenever we somehow managed to make our way into the playoffs. Always good to see article regarding the VHLM. Got to make the minor leagues feel important. Liked the picture placement and found no major grammatical errors.

Review: Championship hangover always sucks. With not returning to the championship series again, that should help light a fire under you and your team. Get back to it and give me some competition when I enter the league next season.
