VinCal got a reaction from Victor in Moscow too much for Prague
Last night the Moscow Menace took advantage of the Prague Phantoms miscues with 3 power play goals to go on to a 4-2 win on the road. The Menace dominated the 1st period and the first of their power play goals was scored by Henrik Zoiderberg, his 23 from Nate Telker at 6:30. Four minutes later Aleelee Kiak put Moscow up 2-0 with his 9th , set up by Ryo Yamazuki II and Jacob Perry at 10:12.
2nd period was polar opposite with the Phantoms dominating the play. Three minutes into the period they cut the lead in half with a goal by Alex Pearson, his 10th from Cinnamon Block and Roll Fizzebeef. Midway through the period Prague pulled even with a Gary Tarantino goal, number 9, from Dagmar Havlova and Waolf Stannson Jr.
The 3rd period was no different then the 2nd, except Moscow goalie stole the show saving all 13 shots he face and 38 of 40 in the game. Moscow capitalized on the power play with a Jacob Peery goal, number 6 from Vin Calia and Yamazuki II at 6:45. Menace put the icing on the cake at 16:24 with their third power play goal and again Jacob Perry set up from Dean Clark and Derek Erikkson.
The win put Moscow over .500 with a 23-22-4 record. It was their 2nd in a row.

Easy read, breaking down Greg Eagles career as a goaltender and how he fared in the playoffs each year. Was well written and let us know how he thinks things will go this season.

1. I was busy in the VHLM finals so I didn’t follow much but it looks like Scott Greene was solid.
2. I’m sorry that I didn’t get the chance to play with them.
3.I did sign up and I’d love to stay local and draft Zoiderberg.
4. Solid. From what I can see is Moscow is a well run organization.
5. I think we should get some competition from Prague.
6. I’ll sit out this question and take all the advice I can get. Thank you in advice.

VinCal got a reaction from Mr_Hatter in Article from AP with Vin Calia on VHL Debut
Short Interview between Moscow's Rookie Vin Calia and The Associate Press
AP- So how did you feel all day leading up to your debut?
VC- I was a little restless throughout the day. I went through my daily routine and kept busy. I went for my morning run, walked the dogs, played a little PlayStation, before I headed to the arena for our afternoon skate and shoot around.
AP- What was the atmosphere in the locker room like for you before the game?
VC- Just like any other game but with a bit more nerves being its opening night and I was making my VHL debut. Even though I was traded over here and I'm unfamiliar with my surroundings, the guys, management, and the people of Moscow have been great to me.
AP- And the game?
VC- "Sigh". I'd be a liar if I told you I wasn't nervous. Once the puck dropped and I took my first shift, I felt great. I was playing the game I love, for a great Organization, for a well respected GM @Victor. Though I wish we got the win, it was a great experience. I look forward to a long career playing this game.
