So for my last minute theme week idea I’m actually still thinking we need a better sim engine then STHS... yes I’m bringing this into play. Why you might ask me? CAUSE STHS SUCKS. Cowboy Prout S N U B B E D !! . Now now as we all know in this community that there’s a specific trophy that’s hard to value on what to look for in the voting process and I think it’s time we consider some things into play for the Jack Wylde. Now I know Dil wrote a script for give aways and take aways and quite honestly I think this could help in the voting process. I think STHS sucks for these type of things when we look at stats and teams/ other player builds but the meta is quite boring imo and it’s time for a new sim engine to fix things. I think scrpts like Dil created are way to late and that’s not knocking what he did cause I think it’s something we should be using and is useful. I just think a overall sim engine that we get different stats and better builds instead of the same meta. The meta doesn’t create a build for things like a Jack Wylde winner. Like the Defencemen on Van stuck on a bottom end team around 500 tpe getting crazy defensive stat numbers cause he’s getting big minutes on a bottom end team sooo STHS decides HE A CRAZY GOOD FUCKING D MAN THAT DESERVES TO BE HALL OF FAME STATUS LEVEL OF DEFENSIVE AWARD NOMINATIONS CAUSE FUCK YOU AND THIS IS THE META! Ok so now that part is over.... I think we could consider different ways and maybe a more public vote to see what things should be considered at the time there’s votes for example... if player B has a slightly better defensive stats then player A but he’s on a shit team and we either could use Dils script for turn over ratios to compare or see maybe Player B could be actually better with less turnovers and just might get effected by STHS and just on a good team. I think the teams status on where they are in standings should be considered and here’s my next thing I want to get removed from having a bigger impact then it should be. Checking for a defensive award. This bothers me still. As much I understand we don’t have much room to work with STHS I think just cause someone checks a lot shouldn’t be getting a defensive award. Sure maybe a little bit of results should be considered but checking can happen anywhere on the Ice and to be honest we use this stat to heavy to weigh in on the voting process. So my end goal Use Dils scripts for now (if he can maintain and keep up) - and would also be kind enough to keep going for time being - could those script ways be a league job if Dil doesn’t want that responsibility and could create some small league involvement for a couple jobs? - NEW SIM ENGINE FOR THE BETTER GOOD. Something I don’t know... useful and updated that won’t have a big meta like current STHS has. There now give tpe for theme week bitches cowboy out. Review: I see some improvements over last bit you’ve post that I remember. Just look at darkening the text a bit better to read and use lighter colours if you don’t have the darkest text to make it stand out with the rest of your work. I like the green effect going. Nice background. Jersey looks solid as well keep at it!! 9/10

Review: lying about your age is a serious offence here in the VHL in fact your now officially on most wanted list that I just made up! Anyways good article. The tpe discussed I agree it sucks but it also keeps it more realistic but all your hard work goes to fighting it off. Good article buddy 8/10

After me rambling week in week out I’m thinking of recording solo to get tpe and just take a break from shit articles every week cause I hate writing and need something new. I don’t know what kind of topics people will be interested in but I’d like to hear them and I’ll be asking members what they like or don’t like etc. I think being a good solo podcaster takes some good skills to be good considering your the only person to keep a steady engagement to the conversation then having friends or whatever. So I’m going to be looking into it and seeing what ideas I’ll come up with and what topics I could do to keep it different then just like my article blabs are. This could be fun for me and something new and more out of my own comfort zone so I think I’ll try it at least and see how I do. I just need something to name and ideas and all that fun stuff

Well Sunday night and haven’t done anything in much of what I did all weekend except wait last minute to claim a pt. Anyways this week was busy and all in all I’m pretty tired however in terms of VHL some new things happened with goalie changes (which is great news for Wranglers) we added a experienced and a good member to the Lr in Hedge as we got rid of over due garbage. With this I’ve noticed different sims as we had some better results and I truthfully don’t know why but it seemed to benefit some of out players on the stat lines which is always good to see some hard work pay off as we kinda were under performing I’d say in terms of the depth we have I think we should be doing abit better for personal stats and performance it don’t make any sense but as long the teams doing good I really don’t think anyone in that Lr gives a shit were all in this together. With some great leadership from management to the players I think this season is already special and hopefully continue this. As for myself I’ve been enjoying not worrying about updating or activity as I’m around but I use to be max earning on like every Monday cause I’d panic now I find myself either struggling to get to Sunday or do it sometime later in the week. It’s definitely something I need to be in a better habit of and especially since I’ve been here for almost a year believe it or not so I’m considering myself not new anymore? Maybe there could or will be a debate on that but it’s crazy how time flys and my career with my first player is almost done in that time period. Anyways I’m done with this ramble talk whatever maybe I’ll pump a podcast again soon I’ve been kinda thinking about it as I find it easier to do then a article for myself every week especially since I’m a shit writer as everyone probably knows but I find myself struggling for material and I just can’t find the time or bring myself to doing a big essay to get a months worth of a pt claims as nice and fancy it all sounds thats quite abit work to do in my opinion for a sim league like I just don’t know I’m not lazy (I kinda am) but like over 2000 words or something? Nah I’m good I struggle to the 500 every week let alone something that big or heavily researched it’s too much so I’ll try n do a podcast maybe this week depends on what happens in real life I have some big things I need to get done and figure out so maybe I’ll sneak some time in to get a quick podcast done. Maybe just do it on my phone i don’t know I’m not the best at technology so I’ll figure the most easy way possible cause these long articles suck. (509 word count)
