I was the lone vote for Kellinger last season and I will vote for him again this season. Possibly along with Hogan.

If we split it by position, it would go something. like that for me.

    Kellinger > Kohler > Vikingstad > Oferson

    Hogan > Davis > Killinger

    Holik > Pepper

They were easily the four best to include on the bracket for this season, but Vikingstad, Oferson Davis and Killinger are all unimpressive for me, especially the two forwards. Only twice in top 10 for scoring, a high of 9th for Oferson. These are not HOF resumes.

    I agree honestly all around.

  2. As for builder, I lean to Muffins or Cowboy.  I think Muffins sells himself short with his history in the league.

He was one of the biggest members in the league during the Reik days too.  He was a GM if I remember correctly for Vasty and was a big part of the podcast game doing three way and guesting on pajodcast.  I also think he's an integral member of our discord era and is one of the more likable league members.

He has been around as long as I have (literally...oddly enough he and I both came in briefly in S12 in an inactive way and both came back and really made our active debut in S17).

  3. Keeping in mind too...retro actively guys like Kellinger would have at least 2 First Team All VHL spots and potentially a Second Team or two as well.

Holik and Kohler maybe too? I'd have to do research there though.

I want to add too I'm not arguing for awarding these players with awards that weren't around for them but rather shedding light on how new guys often have more awards on their resume (since they have more to win now).

Now Kellinger or Kohler, I dunno. I don't recall a convincing argument either way for them over the years but maybe @Advantage recalls one.

I was pretty sure we all ended up agreeing that Kellinger was slightly ahead of Kohler given the MVP and overall better well-rounded statistical finishes (albeit maybe I am misremembering).

For me it's either just 1 HOF or probably Kellinger (I don't mind Holik as much as you but I understand the argument you and others have presented).  He was one of the top couple producers in the league multiple times and was top-10 for at least half his career.  He also was consistently one of the league's best faceoff men (not that I hold that against Kohler since he was a winger, but it's still a point in favour of Kellinger).

At the end of the day even if we feel they are on equal level, I take Kellinger over him for the MVP vs. MIP.

  5. Killinger looks really unimpressive there.

Even Davis does...he had such a short peak but was just solid for most of his career.

Oferson doesn't look like a future HOF to me necessarily.

Vikingstad has a better case but hes tough to compare to guys like Kellinger from back in the day.

I actually am not a huge fan of the original Stockholm logo, but I know I'm very much in the minority on that one. I'm also not the world's biggest fan of the new concept, and I'm wondering if it might just be simpler to put the original one out there for...wait for it...o.p.t.i.c.s.

The logo is all I (and probably many others) even know about the team as it used to be. Every time it gets posted in Discord, for any reason, people freak out over how much they like it. I don't get it, but people will immediately start demanding to know why our new logo is anything but that if we go with it.

While we're on the topic of old logos, Bratislava's lighthouse logo and Cologne's old logo are both absolute bangers as is imo. I'd vote to put both of those through right away if they aren't ripped from anywhere.

Colognes original logo is slightly dated imo but we kept the look rather similar.  Just basically a slightly updated version.
