  1. Okay just to get it correctly: you took the average points scored per season of 84 season. lets say this is 100 to keep it simple. Then you compare it to the average points scored for the respective season you want to evaluate. Lets say for the sake of argument an assumed season had 80. If then a player had scored 50 points in that assumed season you would adjust it to 62.5 (50*100/80)? And the same for the other but you only take the top-10 scorer of each season into consideration?
  2. Just for my curiosity: how do you adjust the points in accordance with the era?
  3. It is true what Ricer said, it is difficult to pick worthy candidates for the non-statistical awards. Not due to the lack of candidates, but the plethora of same. This makes it all the more thrilling that I walk away for the fourth time in a row with silverware and I hope to repay that trust with performance on the ice and being an allround good chap in the LR. Please all know that I value each and every one of you, whether you were considered this season for a distinction or not and you all are important for the success of the franchise we all love and cherish so much. I think I speak for us all when I say this has mainly to do with our stud GM @Ricer13 who makes the Wranglers a place we all want to be in and every one of us wants give our all to make the franchise a success.

  10. Wow, to wake up to notice that the captaincy vote was held AND that you won it, is amazing. It is a great honour to captain an original Eight franchise with such a prestigious pedigree. Even more so if you are elected by your peers. Thanks for the trust folks and let's get the cup this season.
  11. First of all thanks to all the people who showed interest in the position. Please welcome @Ben_Reformed as the new AGM in Istanbul. For all the applicants which did not make it: This is not a decision against you, but one for Ben. Please keep on applying it took me several attempts to land a job as well. Ben, we have a franchise to rebuild, so git Daniel PS: @samx your pretend application was so appealing and your pretend interview so convincing that you can consider yourself as pretend hired as pretend AGM.

  19. Graphic courtesy of Leandrofg (Marcel's stats/Daniel's stats) Since we last reported from the Janser brothers, the World Cup came to an end. It was the swan song for VHL greats like Deathwalker, 5 times Boulet winner Idaho and Atreides and ended with a bronze medal for Team Western Europe. In the semi-finals Team Western Europe faced the Canadians in a 5-1 loss. No goals were scored in the first frame. Canada then pulled the trigger in the second period with four unanswered goals. In the third, Tavau finally brought Europe on the score board with an even strength goal. But Canada replied with their fifth of the game an buried any hope Europe might have had. Moreau (1g/2a), Marner (0g/3a) and Leduc (2g/0a) were named the three best players of the match. Pearce (.853) had no chance in net against Fuhr (.938). Europe's power play was a no-show (0/3), whereas the box play was decent (5/6). Daniel was credited with 0g, 1a, -1, 2 PIM (Holding, lead to a goal against), 4 hits and 52.50FO% In the game for 3rd place the Europeans recovered from the asskicking they received by the hands (or rather feet) of the Canadians, in a 5-2 win. Detroit took a very early (0:07 minutes played) hooking penalty and took Pearce all of twenty seconds to convert the advantage.Perpetrator had not even sat down in the sin bin when he was released again. Lavelle doubled the lead eight minutes later before Team USA pulled one back. The Irish forward scored again to reinstate the two goal lead, before Jokinen scored the last of the period. In the second frame, Lavelle finalized his hattrick with the sole marker scored in these twenty minutes. Idaho set the final highlight with his marker, the only one in the third period. The three stars distinction went to Lavelle (3g/0a), Deathwalker (0g/2a) and Pearce (1g/1a). Pearce (.946) won the duel between the pipes against Booberry (.881). Europe's power play was anemic (1/8) and the penalty kill decent (5/6). Daniel had 0g, 2a, +2, 2 PIM (Tripping, lead to a goal against)), 1 hit, 1sb and 72.22% efficiency in the hash mark to his name. The combined stats for the medal games for Dan are as follows: 2gp, 0g, 3a, 3pts, +1, 4 PIM, 5 hits, 1sb, FO%61.84 In the ProAm the Birmingham Tiddlywinks are seated on the 2nd rank, with a 25-13-2 record. Dan's stats in this tournament read as below: 40gp, 26g, 43a, 69pts (nice), +30, 58 PIM, 66 hits, 10sb, 5gwg, 6ppg, FO%64.08 and 4 first star nominations We will revert with updates on the Swiss Brothers' careers once same are available.
