Johnny_HX reacted to Scurvy in Around the League
For this week Around the League in 500 words I want everyone to know one thing.  @Thunder put it best in his post this week.  It gets so hard to write an article each week that people want to read and that you enjoy writing.  The off season even makes it tougher to find topics that someone might click on. I figure nobody reads this anyway and probably only read what is said about the players I ping to an article.  That’s fine, I totally get it.   It does make it hard some weeks to earn my precious TPE but I forge on.  For my next build, I plan to try podcasting even though I will probably be shit.

    Bo Johanson
Well, it’s been a long time since we’ve been graced with the presence of such a great VHL contributor, @Shindigs.  A TPE earning machine his goal to #1 in the S82 draft.  A feat he would have easily accomplished.  Such a great ambassador of the VHL and a truly great defenseman. So great, that even now as an inactive player we still se BoJO in the top 2 in assists for Defensive players. 10 goals 73 assists for 83 points this season.  Overall, BOJO has 516 points in 432 games, 888 SB, and 47 PPG.  Such a tragedy that Shindigs just disappeared one day.  I truly hope everything is ok in his life away from SIM hockey.  Wish him all the best! And As always Payne thanks you.

    RECENT TRADES
Had I not been surfing around I would have missed a bunch of trades in the last few days.  Seattle seems to be trending hot to win now with the addition of goalie, Cole Pearce from Warsaw for a 1st round pick.  Pearce is a high earning goalie who will fit in nice with an great Seattle club.

Seattle also added G Ilya Brysgalov, D- Rex Wolffe Gregor for Ash Sparks and a bunch of draft picks.  And added stud Dman Scoish Velociraptor Maloish from LA for a 3rd rounder.

Seattle just missed hoisting the Continental Cup this season and it looks like there going for it again.

    WARSAW
The beauty of the VHL is the parody among clubs.  It seems like just yesterday I was hoisting the Continental Cup with the Preds and then this season we didn’t make the playoffs.  It stings!  The Preds look to be in a re-build after the retirements of Brendan Marner and Zach Kisslinger and the recent trade of goalie Cole Pearce.

The club has some returning veterans in Girts “the silent assassin” Galvins @Girts, Johnny Xavier @Johnny_HX, Biggie Cheese @a_Ferk, and Brian Payne.  With some upcoming talent in Tim Riggins @Jayhawk and Tom Creeg @Creegan610 up front they look to make some additions long term through the draft, free agency, and/or trades, I’m sure.

We have our work cut out for this season but the Preds are used to being underestimated. It’s a really good group of people (albeit quiet in Discord lately) so I am excited to see some younger guys step up this season.

Johnny_HX got a reaction from Kisslinger in Warsaw Predators Press Conference
    1. He is performing better than I thought. He isn’t scoring as many goals, but he’s putting up points so far.
    2. I think trying to get some more quality depth would be beneficial for the team.
    3. I think we have some time before we need to worry. If we start losing consistently we can worry.
    4. I’m not surprised, but our captain is again doing a great job.
    5. That’s a good question! I don’t know if I could choose a best.
    6. I am a bit upset with it. I think that the way it’s formatted removes a lot of the enjoyment of the “All-Star” game. I think we should go back to a draft format and not worry about having a representative from each team. Just choose the people who have truly been “All-Stars” of the season.

21st Annual Unofficial VHL Regular Season Awards – S86
Another exciting regular season has come to a close. That means we can dole out some regular season awards! Welcome everyone to the 21st Annual Unofficial VHL Regular Season Awards honoring the highs and lows of S86! Thank you to everyone that reads this.

These awards have been created by me. There is no voting process and they are not officially recognized by the VHL Board of Governors.

For each award, I list the winners from the last 5 seasons. If you want to check out the award winners from every season, use this link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sAZtX3bxVpPTIsKe1rSRVOenH1-iyWzbQEdR9ZvYOdU/edit?usp=sharing

I also document the “all-time” record for each category. Of course, by that I mean all-time for the existence of these awards, not all-time, all-time. Clear? Ok, good. Let’s get things underway!

The Pylon Award (worst +/- rating) – Daniel Clarke @Danzo

For the first time in the history of this award, we have a repeat winner! Daniel Clarke tied with teammate James Marino @Adrest245 with a -55 rating. Clarke takes home the award because they played less minutes than Marino.

The Gandhi Award (least penalty minutes, min 1,000 minutes played) – Mason Jones @Masu Chan

Mason Jones wins the award for the 2nd time in their career. Thanks in part to what I assume is increased anger across all of the VHL, Jones is able to claim the award with 6 PIM. Johnny Xavier @Johnny_HX also recorded 6 PIM, but Mason Jones played more total minutes.

Our first repeat winner since Hunter Hearst Helmsley repeated in S70+S71. Perry Laperriere may be made of water because they appear to flow with all these hits they get. The 337 hits they received led the league this year and were 2 shy of their previous season winning total.

Not only did Murdock pull off the amazing feat of stopping every penalty shot they faced this season, they also set the all-time record by facing more shots (12 in total) than the previous record of 10.

Hi! Thank you to @BarzalGoat for the time and patience you've had with VHFL over the past couple seasons. I've been informed that Barzal will be stepping down from his position as VHFL manager, so I'll be temporarily taking over to get payouts done and the next season set up. If anyone would like to learn how to run VHFL, send me a DM and we can discuss if the position is a good fit!

Anyways, lets get to the payouts! Usual disclosures apply in that if you have any questions or concerns, reach out.

Johnny_HX reacted to Scurvy in Warsaw re-signs Players, but questions remain
With an early off-season the Warsaw Predators are disappointed in their early playoff exit. Losing in 7 to a very underrated Prague club the Preds have some unanswered questions going into S87.  With tough cap issues and some glaring defensive needs the Preds are going to try to bring as many of the core nucleus that has brought success over the last few seasons, to include a Cup win.

Team GM  @N0HBDYwasted no time bringing back defensemen, Brian Payne and Jeff Buffy @Strider.  Both Dmen play a heavy rough game and Payne has some offensive upside provided he can stay out of the penalty box.

The GM also signed Gritty goal scorer Brendan Marner @MetalToday, and the quiet and effective duo in Sock Monkey @chiknand Johnny Xavier @Johnny_HX.  Both are quiet professionals who have put up 20 goals in the last two season and more is expected in the coming years.

The tough questions are can the Preds re-sign two elite forwards in Girts Galvins @Girts and Vasile Lamb @dlamb.  Both are truly amazing players and even better teammates.  I am not sure how it works with Cap and all that and the Preds still need to find a goalie and maybe another Defenseman.

My hope is that they all return, and we can make another cup run but I recognize the business of the game and it can’t always work out.  Either way I wish all Preds current and former the best of luck in the league.

    1. If there is a trade that will help us win, I think we should.
    2. I think they are both great teams, but I think D.C. would be a bigger challenge.
    3. I think second would be a good spot to sit.
    4. I think it has to be this one. We have some elite scoring talent on this team, and I think it can be clearly seen.
    5. After the trade deadline would be a good time.
    6. I think that it needs to involve two players who, at the time, are classified as "elite" players for their team. I also believe a blockbuster trade could include multiple first round picks and prospects.

    3. He loves to spend time with his family but isn't the type to go crazy about holiday festivities.
    4. Listen, sometimes you forget your towel/clothes when leaving the pool (or they get stolen by your teammates as a prank), so you have to sprint back to your room. It happens to everyone.

    6. It's kind of disgusting. It is unfair. They should share the success.

Lately, I have been making Graphics for my points tasks, seeing how I recently did a Mason Jones signature and a Siyan Yasilievich one I am kinda drawing a blank for which first gen I would’ve made a graphic for.
I was looking for other first gens and that’s when it hit me. I could make a great team just based on the first gen players. There are so many talented users on the forums, it’d be hard to honor them all but I wanted to build a team for as many as I can just to showcase our community!
Side note: The jersey design and team name are my AHL team in my franchise mode for NHL23. I was just really proud of how they turned out and figured with the theme it’d be a fitting name.

    Offense
    Girts Galvins @Girts - Daniel Janser @Daniel Janser - Alexandre Leduc @Lemorse7
Mason Jones @Masu Chan- Wann Kerr @VattghernCZ- Sadie St Louis @sadie
    Tom Creeg @Creegan610 - Johnny Xavier @Johnny_HX - Gus Bently @boatsinking123
    Hayden Rain @Rain - John Richards @John Cimarno - Adam Rage @MrMom

    Defense
    Siyan Yasilevich @badcolethetitan - Bo Johansson @Shindigs
Marcel Janser @Morcar80- Mo Probert @Yahtzee
    Jens Lekman @Bobcat - Curtis Crumb @Crummer77

    Goalies
    Lachlan Summers @kirbithan
    Evan Bihler @Eb14

I’m gonna do a summary of some of my picks in an attempt to explain my thinking behind some of them. There are probably a few names I missed, most likely big ones as well. I’ve been in the league for a year in real life and a lot of the names on this list already feel like veterans and it’s hard to believe they are first gen players.
A lot of these names were also on my previous dream team, but that was for good reason as either I have played with them, managed them before or they have a build that I am interested in.
If I had to name captains on this team I’d likely give the C to Bo Johansson. Their commitment to the community is next level, they are a top earner and maybe the most active person I have interacted with for my first year in this league. I’ve seen them chat in all the Locker Rooms I have been a part of thus far. The A’s would go to Daniel Janser and Siyan Yasilevich, either one of those two could’ve competed for the C as both have dedicated so much time to this league and have helped develop so many players already into their GM-ing careers. Siyan would likely be a spark for the youth of any team, he loves to chat about anime and video games and I think Janser would be a great counterpart to him.
I haven’t interacted much with our starting Goalie, Lachlan Summers besides when I briefly managed them in the JST. They were a key part of that team and even though we didn’t succeed I couldn’t have asked for a better goalie. Lachlan was a nice, encouraging person at the time and I have only heard praise for them their entire time in the league.
Our backup goalie is a personal favorite of mine as they recently led the Reapers to a championship. Evan Bihler was a joy to interact with when I GM’d for them in the VHLM and I believe they’d be a dark horse pick in this situation.
Even in NHL games, I like having siblings on the same team. It’s not the only reason I picked Marcel Janser to be on this team, but it made the decision a lot easier. Marcel has been great in recent seasons. If he was ever considered an underdog, he has definitely proved himself at the VHL level, and If your team could afford to play him on the second pair then you’re in great shape.
The last one I’ll cover is Alexandre Leduc. Lemorse is another player on this team that is hard to believe they are a first gen player. They are a natural, which was only proven when they took over management for the Reapers and won the championship in the same season. I think Lemorse is a must-have on any team at this point and would have a ton to add to the locker room.

    1. I think it is a good sign. If we are able to play this well now, we should be able to play better with another defensive addition.
    2. Travis DeGroot. He was a big part of our team last season, so I wouldn't be sad to bring him back.
    3. I've probably ripped ass a few to many times. I apologize to the team, but better out than in.
    4. I expect to see more and more success from Galvins. He is the real deal.
    5. My cup. I was luckily able to by a new one, but I was scared for a second when I found out.
    6. I would trade John Gibson from the Anaheim Ducks to a contending team in need of a goaltender. He would bring back some good assets for the Ducks and is good enough to help a contending team in the playoffs.

    4. I think it's possible. As long as he keeps up the good work. There are some pretty good rookies this season, so it won't be easy.
    5. I don't think adding another skilled defenseman would be a bad thing. Having more shut down defense could help us win more games.

With our 14-point lead in first, do you plan to keep pushing, or let your body rest a little for the playoffs?
The grind never stops. I gotta keep pushing and get better.
Did you expect to be where we are now at the beginning of the season?
I had high hopes, but I had no idea that we would be doing so well.
What does your player do in the intermissions? (Between periods)
He drinks a lot of water on the bench so he usually empties the tank.
Are you excited for the start of the NHL regular season for most teams on Tuesday? Any hot takes you want to talk about?
I am very excited. As my favorite team is the Canadiens, I have the bias hot take that they will do a lot better this season. I am interested to see the first year stat comparison between Slafkovsky and Wright.
The Canadian Thanksgiving is upon us, do you have any plans for this Thanksgiving weekend? If you’re not Canadian, when is your equivalent to thanksgiving and are you planning anything big?
I went for a hike with some friends and will be having a nice dinner tonight.
What’s your favorite part of Thanksgiving?
It is a nice break and allows me to have a small rest.

    1. Playoffs is about to begin for us, how do you feel about our first round match up?
Im feeling excited. They are a good team, but I am confident that we will win.
    2. How did your player do in the regular season?
A lot better than his previous season. He was able to score over 20 goals and over 50 points!
    3. We didn't meet either of my expectations (everyone 20+ goals / 7 ppg players). Did I set expectations too high or did we slowed down near the end of season?
I think we may have just slowed down a little bit, but that's okay.
    4. What are your player's playoffs expectations?
There is some VHLM and VHLE experience in the playoffs, making it through multiple rounds.
    5. Who will be our most difficult playoffs opponent?
I feel like saying somebody other than the team we are currently going against will jinx us, so HC.
    6. Who will be our playoffs MVP?
    Gotta be Wumbo.

    S85 VHL Second Featured Game

We are finally back for more featured games highlight recaps! Who would have thought that our second featured game of Season 85 would end up being the final game of the season! We are in Pro Day 120, game number 576, the final game of the VHL Regular Season in Season 85. We have a matchup between the European Conference leader (and League Leader) and the last place team of the North American Conference. The Warsaw Predators visit the Toronto Legion to close out the regular season before heading home to prepare for the start of the Season 85 VHL Playoffs and their Title Defence.

The Toronto Legion did not have a very good season and are looking forward toward the upcoming draft in hopes for a quick and painless rebuild or retool to bring them back into the playoffs. Even though the season has already been lost, it is never a good thing to lose your final home game in front of your home crowd. You have to at least entertain the home crowd one last time before a long off season! Harry Hagel @jasplunds had the right idea as the Toronto Legion draws first blood early into the first period on the Power Play. Harry Hagel scores their 11th of the season at 3:13 into the game. The Toronto Legion showed a lot of heart and soul in this first period of Game 72 in their Season 85. In fact they out played the defending Champions Warsaw Predators. The Toronto Legion outshot the Warsaw Predators 11 to 10 and leads 1 - 0 after 20 minutes of play. To make things even better, their back up is in net. Things could not go much better than this!

The Warsaw Predators came out of the gates in period number 2 with a vengeance!  Brendan Marner @MetalToday and Johnny Xavier @Johnny_HX scores quick back to back goals for the Warsaw Predators to quickly take a 2 - 1 lead for the Predators. Brendan Marner scores their 37th of the season just 0:32 into the second period, and Johnny Xavier scores their 22nd moments later before a minute into the period at 0:58 to give the visiting Predators the lead. The Warsaw Predators have finally taken control of the game as Toronto Legion goaltender B-TOR G1 stood on their head to keep the Legion in the game. The Warsaw Predators lead 2 - 1 at the end of the second period, after outshooting the Toronto Legion 16 to 4 in the period.

Girts Galvins @Girts extends the lead for the Warsaw Predators with their 27th of the season 5:34 into the third period to give the Predators a 3 - 1 lead. High intense pressure and tremendous (bot) goaltending keeps the Toronto Legion in the game and the game close. No new scoring happens to the rest of the regular season as the Warsaw Predators wins 3 - 1 while outshooting the Toronto Legion 13 to 7 in the third period, and 39 to 22 in the game.

3 Stars as proposed by the viewers in attendance:
    1 - Brendan Marner (WAR) - 1 goal, 7 shots, 3 hits, 2 blocked shots, +2
    2 - Wumbo (WAR) @Fire Fletcher - 21 of 22 saves, 95.5% Save% in win for 44th win of the season
    3 - Girts Galvins (WAR) - 1 goal, 5 shots, +2

    1. It's been an amazing week of hockey! What changed that gave us this good week as a team and for individual personnel?
I think we just clicked well this week. The management has also done a great job.
    2. Apart from winning the Continental Cup again, what is one thing you hope the team or your player could do this season?
I hope that we are able to stay at the top of the league. Personally, I hope to just continue my progress as a player.
    3. Trade deadline is coming up. Should or do we need to do anything?
I don't think big changes will be beneficial. We are on a good stride and shaking it up too much may cause problems.
    4. It is unreal how well our team's individual players are playing, how many of our players could reach ppg at season's end?
I wouldn't be surprised if we have 6 or 7 players be ppg.
    5. What are your thoughts on the NHL preseason so far?
It has been nice to see young players fight for spots. I hope there are some underdog players who are given a chance because of this preseason.
    6. If injuries is a setting that could be turned on, who is most likely to end the season without being injured?
Probably Zach Kisslinger II. He's a tough guy.

    1. We are leading our conference and tied point-wise for 1st in the league. How is your player doing according to preseason expectations?
I think he is doing a lot better. There are still some dry streaks in production, but compared to last year he is doing much better.
    2. Almost everyone on the team have 20+ points, who has been the most surprising for the team so far?
I would say Brain Payne. He is getting so many points, while also wracking up the penalty minutes. He is crazy.
    3. Who has been most disappointing for the team so far?
I don't think anyone has really disappointed this season. Everyone is meeting or surpassing expectations.
    4. What is one thing we could do to improve our team?
We just need to keep evolving as players and get better.
    5. When we're playing at home, do you eat dinner out or at home with family?
If mumma cooking some good meals you know I am eating with the family.
    6. Does your player have their own family? If so, describe their immediate family.
Not yet, but hopefully one day he will have a lovely family that will watch hockey with him.

Johnny_HX got a reaction from der meister in Xavier's Wild Week Review! Week of September 18th
Welcome back to Johnny Xavier’s Wild Week Review! This is an article that allows Johnny Xavier to see his stats in an orderly fashion, as well as allow him to see the places where he may need to improve. Every week will be reviewed and any momentous moments will be shouted out whenever they may be. That being said, let us get on to the review!

This week brought quite a bit of success for Johnny Xavier. He started this week off slow, failing to score a point in the first game of the week. However, it did not take very long for Xavier to make up those points, as, in his very next game against Prague, he obtained 2 assists and had a plus 3 in the dominant 5 to 1 win. These assists came at good times as well, as Xavier’s first assist was on the game winning goal.

Over the next 5 games, Johnny Xavier managed to score 3 points, 2 goals and 1 assist. Though this is a very respectable pace, Xavier decided to go above and beyond in his next game against Moscow, where he found his scoring touch. Xavier scored 2 goals, as well as earning the first star of the game with this performance. Something about that day worked in his favour, whether it was the meal he ate or the way his skates felt on his feet, but I can assure you that he will be keeping the same routine for a while.

In his next game, Xavier earned 2 assists, continuing the high scoring pace from previous games. This led to his game against HC Davos Dynamo, where Xavier had his first 3 point night in his career, assisting on 3 goals, scored by Girts Galvins and Zach Kisslinger II, who scored two goals, as well as the winning shootout goal. To celebrate his first three point game, and hoping for many more in the future, Xavier treated his teammates to a lovely dinner.

Johnny Xavier’s last three games of this week saw him get 2 points, 1 goal and 1 assist. He was able to end off the week at a realistic, but respectable pace and leaves him working hard to make this week just as productive.

Johnny Xavier was not only able to improve his scoring pace, but he also was able to slightly improve his plus-minus stats! At the start of the week, Xavier was sitting at a minus 3, but now, after a successful week of play, we see him sitting at a plus 3! Let’s see if we can see that number go up even more!

Also, we would like to congratulate Johnny Xavier on reaching career highs in every stat! He has passed his career high in goals, previously being 6, assist, previously being 6, and points, previously being 12. The sky's the limit for Johnny Xavier!

Thank you everyone for reading this week’s addition of Johnny Xavier’s Wild Week Review! If there is any other part of Johnny Xavier’s game you want me to report on please feel free to let me know!

    Xavier's current stats: 7 Goals - 13 Assists - 20 Points in 23 games

    Word count: 531

This offseason Chicago re-signed most of their expiring players and made one major trade to help bring the team into a prime competiting position. That trade brought in depth defenseman Juice Box and goaltender Cole Pearce @N0HBDY from London. The Phoenix still with only a 5-4-1 roster will likely be on the hunt for that final forward to complete this star studded Chicago team.     Calgary came out of the offseason having been pretty quiet with their only trades being during the draft. Their only real major move was drafting defenseman Phil Strasmore @Phil and calling them up right up. Otherwise Calgary mainly focused internally by locking up many of its players for multi-season deals, those players being Landon Wolanin @jacobcarson877, Leandro Goncalves @leandrofg, and AirRig GoodBrandSun @Rhynex Entertainment.     Davos’s offseason was relatively quiet with the Dynamo focusing on its younger players and locking them out for a couple more seasons, some less than others, but those players being Siyan Yasilievich@badcolethetitan, Pete Mitchell @Crstats23, and Jake Thunder @Thunder. Their only major moves were acquiring veteran Alex Johnston @Alex who’s on his last season for the cheap price of a third round pick, then signing goaltender David Davis @Josh for another season but no more than that per Davis’s demands.     D.C has filled out it's roster through calling up some of it's prospects and adding 3 players through free agency and trades. Coming in through a trade from Riga is forward Darth Kaprizov @Darth Kaprizov who is a huge addition along with free agency signings Nezuko @Baozi and Milan Dvorak @solas. The Dragons rock a 6-4-1 roster and 500k still available in cap space.     Helsinki this offseason was very quiet, some might say that they were too quiet. Well, with their GM going MIA and nobody being able to step in the helm, eventually their AGM took over and was able to make a few moves to try to salvage the disaster that is Helsinki. This team right now has two defenseman, a superstar goalie, and six forwards, which to be honest, isn’t as bad as it seemed. However, this team only made three moves, signing a couple players to just be able to compete. The best move they have had was signing Cobalt Burns @Ledge and getting him on board long term. Regardless, this team is in shambles and this season it’ll be very interesting to see what happens.     The Stars are making the most of the newly expanded salary cap with an 8-4-1 roster. The only way they brought in players was through the trade market which they managed to grab Brian Kowalski @Wheaties, Jason Argos @Insypher, and Sirdvaldis Miglaskems @FrostBeard. A relatively young roster that is entirely signed through S86 with no real long term commitments being made currently. Though with many highly prospective players to come up in the future such as Sebastien Dokis @Sebastien, Todd Cooke, and Reno Reinhold @Reno.     London started their offseaon by re-signing depth skaters Branden Skuin @DrunkMonkey23 and Ivan Retoslav @eagle_3450, while also trading away Juice Box @Siddhus and Cole Pearce @N0HBDY for a 1st. Finally moving into free agency the United managed to sign veteran Jerome Reinhart @MexicanCow123 and a younger Kakapo Bushtit @Esso2264 to finish out their 6-4-1 roster.     The Nighthawks were making moves from trading to signing player in free agency. Malmo brought in four players through trade, those players being Donny Carter @TheNeonShaman, Bob Chicoine @PoignardLeclerc11, Jakub Brozik @Viper, and Max Torq @Steve. Even after bringing in those four players they signed Bogdan Trunov @qripll from free agency and called up Noodles Marconi @Eynhallow to finish with a 6-4-2 roster.     The Menace stayed true to their roots this offseason with their priority being re-signing franchise goaltender Papa Emeritus @Beketov for what is now the rest of his career. Moscow acquired two players by trade, Jannik Nylen @DreMin15 and Robert Wilk @Tomat0 who will fill out the roster and hope to hang onto a competitive role.     New York was a lot like Malmo this offseason and have ended up piecing together a decent roster. Three prospects will join the Americans, Malum Maellard @frescoelmo, Doug Matchett @jacobaa19 and Daniel Weaver @ThePerfectNut. Three more players will come in from free agency, veteran Henri le Massif @Garsh, Poopy Peepants @JardyB10, and Taylor Mourning @scoop will join the Americans and beef up their front line talent. Lastly coming in from a trade is Weenuk Warrior @KnightRiley to finish out the New York 6-4-1 roster.     Prague this offseason has been continuing their rebuild, with signing most of their prospects to their entry level contracts. I still think it’s going to take maybe one more season for Prague to be able to at least play some meaningful games, but they are taking a step in the right direction. One player I want to point out is Nikolas Kauppi @Tetricide, who is a very active player and he will help bring life to the locker room. The future is bright for Prague and if they continue what they’ve been doing, they should be competing in no time.     Heading into this offseason Riga was looking to move into a rebuilding phase for the franchise. Through mainly free agency the Reign were able to piece together a roster of whatever they could get. Riga has obtained a decent amount of valuable picks which will come in handy to replace the majority of it's players who are set to retire in the next couple of seasons. Through free agency Riga brought in Bob Beach @Big Bob, Phoebe Bridgers @GrittyIsKing, Julia Waffles @Edustava, Ashton Komaryk @Komaryk, and Tyler Reinhart @Zetterberg. The last of it's incoming players came through trade where the Reign acquired Daniel Clarke @Danzo and John Baard @Birdman for a 6-4-1 roster.     Seattle went into the offseason over cap and needing to dump some of it's player's and got just that from Malmo and Los Angeles. Seattle dumped two high payroll players and filled them in with incoming prospects Chip Stone @DoktorFunk and Velociraptor Greg @samx. The Bears also signed one player through free agency, Calix Pearce @Laine, to fill out their defenseman and have a final 5-4-1 roster.     Toronto had a lot of rostered players before this offseason and needed to unload a couple more players on top of the ones that were expiring. The Legion traded 3 players for picks in the draft this past offseason. After the outgoing players Toronto then brought up 5 of its prospects, Harry Hagel@jasplunds, Calen McKay @Kendrick, Cole Caufield Jr @weekz, Alessio Simeoni @Alesime, and Tyler Busser @lil OG z. Toronto continues to run with its trend of having a young roster in recent seasons and shows it with a 7-4-1 roster.     Vancouver was making moves this offseason, through trades, free agency, and drafting the team has exploded into a competitive role once again after only a couple of seasons. The Wolves signed two notable players this offseason, Nico Pearce @Spartan being the first notable player to sign to Vancouver for a single season deal along with an NTC. The second notable player is veteran Anze Miklavz @kelvi who is on their last season but will have a huge impact for the Wolves roster. Vancouver also called up prospect Henry Eagles @Greg_Di after drafting him just this past offseason. Lastly to complete the roster through trades they also brought in Nathan Powers @JB123, Biggie Cheese @a_Ferk, and Alexander Leduc @Lemorse7.     Warsaw was kind of a one touch of each category this offseason, they dipped their toe into the free agency pool, trading pool, and the prospect pool each one time. After leaving for free agency Warsaw signed Har Singh Nalwa @Dil. Through trading the Predators brought Johnny Xavier @Johnny_HX. Lastly through the prospect pool Warsaw called up Sock Monkey @chikn to fill out whatever they can of the roster which is now a 6-3-1.
