  5. 1. I think I will be representing Team USA. I haven't heard anything so far! 2. It was great... I'm Canadian, but we went away for the weekend to a couple breweries and some sand dunes for hiking. 3. Relax and Recharge. Be patient, sometimes the anticipation can get overwhelming. 4. Risk.. Not huge into board games (not sure I've played the best ones with the best crowd), but I've enjoyed the Risk drama. 5. I'd be happy either way. I wanna see muff win. I also love to see Bana just rack up the trophies. 6. So far so good. Starting to hone in on draft prep for Malmo. Excited for the official start to the off-season.

  7. Review: I love the render effect you have here. The jersey change is nice, and the Riga logo through the visor is a really nice touch. O love the grunge look, the blending on the left shoulder seems to be a little soft, might have been nice to be blended in a hard spatter style. Jersey fades, while the logo doesnt. The text is decentm but not my fav you've done. Really think the overall look is striking, I think some things could be a little more finely tuned. 9/10
  8. Review: I likey. Everything looks cool. I think the textured text is pretty similar to last week's peice and even the colour style is. I like the text border, and the top texture layer of the warps lava looking stuff is nice. The lens flare seems to be a little distracting. Overall a nice piece. 8.5/10
  9. 1. Tampa Bay 2. I'm in Canada.. We have Canada Day on July 1. I'm off for the weekend with my daughter which is nice. 3. Looking to get Scoring up and then likely PH. 4. Bratislava Watchmen. I was the first GM for the team when they were VHLM, and even came up with the Watchmen name. Would love to see them back. 5. Sure. It's grown on me. 6. I like everyone
  10. Moscow, Russia. After a season that had many up's and down's, one positive note the Moscow Menace can hold onto is the play of their rookies. The Menace dressed 8 rookies this season, and had a couple of breakout seasons. Kyle Glass, Bahram Kamkar, Owen Taylor and Andrew Bowman had respectable seasons. Kamkar left due to early retirement, but still had a solid showing in his first and only season. Grapes shined through as a hidden gem, after being drafted 76th overall in S75, he put up 34 points in 72 games, on the second line that showcased Philip Stein and another headlining rookie. Shaggy Tipton found his niche on the first line as he played top-pairing minutes for the Menace. Tipton is an undrafted rookie who is a bit undersized, but has proven to be a helluva find for GM Euron Leonidas. The Seabastard, drafted 3rd Overall by the Menace in last year's S78 draft had a breakout campaign as well, as he notched 29 points, and proved to be a clutch scorer and a gamer with a bright future. While these seven rookies had great seasons, one rookie stood out on top of the class of '78. Hard Markinson, drafted 2nd Overall in the S78 Draft has been the bright light in what was a pretty darkened season for the Russian squad. The menacing defender with offensive upside, broke out. Scouting reports had said this is a hard-hitting defender who can skate and put the puck in the net, but this was supposed to be 2-3 years down the line. Markinson wasted no time as he put up the kind of stats you would expect to see from a seasoned veteran. He not oinly led all rookies in points as a defenseman but also was in the top ten for league-wide shots blocked, and for most of the year was in the top ten for hits. He had an awful time staying out of the box as he landed 3rd overall in the league for PIM. Markinson's play made him a big favorite for ROTY, in a class dominated by defensemen. Here are how the top five players compare. Hard Markinson - 10 G, 46 A, 56 P, 250 HIT, 180 SB Jan Hlozek - 14 G, 36 A, 50 P, 73 HIT, 115 SB Tui Sova - 8 G, 32 A, 40 P, 148 HIT, 169 SB While nothing is set in stone, it seems that Markinson led all rookies in almost all significant areas. Not only offensively, but defensively, Markinson was a star for the Menace and has shown the signed of being a franchise defensemen for the team. Whether or not he takes home a trophy at the end of the year, this is a good indication of how bright Moscow's future truly can be.
  11. Wolski and the Draggos deserve one
  12. @Dil
  13. The OG is so nice. Plus if we can keep the Kora logos around I think that's a huge plus. imho.

Review: Nice, simple, grungey. I think the jersey swap is so nice, that it kinda makes the whol sig work well. I think if the dark tones on the render's face and outlines were a little darker it would be nice. I think overall this is just a solid sig, very memorable. 9.5/10
  18. Review: I'm a big fan of this. I actually like the creativeness and out of the box style this has. I like that the text isn't a main focal point, but I do think it is a little too hidden. The secondardy render that is blurred I actually think looks cool, and the overall render effects are nice. I like the comic book style of feel. I think some of the texture that is on top of the sig could have been cleaned up a bit, more specifically around the main render face. Not sure if I like the halo type thing you have. It's a neat idea, but I think it would look cooler if it was in an artistic style like the rest of the sig. Maybe trying like a comic sunburst thing. Overall I like the look, I love the colours with the mapped water texture on the text. I'm a big fan. 9.5/10
  19. 1. Hard was able to contribute both offensively and defensively. I put up over 50 points in his rookie season, while tallying up a significant amount of Shots Blocked and Hits. 2. I think it can be easy to get lost in the shuffle with the VHL. So many great members. I think peer recognition is something the VHL could improve upon. 3. Off-Season is going to be about cranking Scoring up to 99 and getting to know the teammates better as we start to build off our core. 4. I have a bias in that I AGM Malmo and would love to see them Cindarella in the playoffs. I think still clinching will be a test for them as they've come down to the final sim for that. 5. I think it'll be Seattle and Warsaw. 6. I think Shaggy really stepped up as a prominent player on our defensive core. I think he's a player that didn't garner a ton of attention but proved to be a big part of the team. Obviously our heavy hitters in Atreides and Idaho were great. But the secondary players like Newhook and Seabasstard proved that we are a really deep team.
