  1. 1. We are CRUISING through the playoffs, however we are at the final destination as we all expected. The finals against Houston. We are currently at 1 win and 1 loss so far, what do you think we need to approve improve based on the first two games? I think defensively we need to be tighter, but we really need to just play our game, and show we are the better team. We got here because of the team we are, we will win for that same reason. 2. How has your player done so far in the playoffs in your eyes? Not bad. Considering he was a late year signing, expectations are tempered. I'm glad he isn't a liability, and has had good hit totals. Overall, this is more a team experience for Markinson more than anything. 3. With Hylands departure soon and the newly appointed GM being @Advantage, what is one thing you hopes stays the same and what is one thing you hope Advantage looks into to change/adjust? ADV has a ton of experience, and I think that's a huge thing he brings to the table. A lot of SIM experience and he knows what works in STHS. I think Mexico will be in good hands, and he seems to be into the team already. 4. In one sentence, what would you want to say to @Hylandsbefore he goes off to Malmo? Hope to play for you again! 5. What is your go-to snack when watching a movie? Skittles for sweet, otherwise Doritos. 6. If there was one place you'd want to see an expansion team move to, where would it be and what would it's name be? It'd be cool to see the Bratislava Watchmen come back to life. That'd be neato.
  2. Mexico City, Mexico. As we approach the VHLM Finals, the match-up is between two powerhouse teams. Both teams had dominating performances both in the regular season and in playoffs. Houston Bulls are stacked with talent both up front, on defense, and in goaltending. They are projected to have the highest players in the upcoming VHL Draft. They are no surprise to be in the Finals, and are the likely favorites after being the league leader in points in the regular season. Mexico City has had an incredible run in the regular season, and were one of the hottest teams going into the playoffs. In Playoffs, they continued their red hot run. They swept their first two series against the Las Vegas Aces and Minnesota Storm, both of which are solid teams in their own respect. Mexico City is a high-flying, high-scoring team with a willingness to score every single night. This is what attracted Hard Markinson to the Kings; but it looks as if the match has been made in Mexico's favour. In signing Markinson, they knew they had a blue-chip prospect who could skate, however Markinson is proving to be a steady reliable defendor who has added some serious grit to the team. He has played his way onto the second defensive pairing, and is the top defenseman in hits on the team with 20 hits in the 8 playoff games. He hasn't been spectacular offensively, only registering 3 shots on goal, one of those being a goal (not a big deal). Coaches have said they are encouraging him to shoot more, but with the offensive talent on the team, it's not surprising why he is dishing it off so much. The Finals begin early this week, and many fans are excited. The Kings are very happy and excited for their chances against the top-ranked Bulls team. While it was a quick journey for both teams to get to the finals, there's no doubt going to be more of battle now that they are here. This series could easily go seven games.
  3. 1. Our 1st round matchup is against the Las Vegas Aces, do you think we can brush them off? I think we are the better team, but I don't think it will be a blow out. I think we can find the back of the net at will, but we need to be tight defensively in the playoffs. I'm confident in the win, but I don't think it will be a brush off. 2. Of all the 1st round matchups, who is most likely to pull off an upset? The Miami and Yukon series should be the closest one. So far after sim-one it has been. 3. Any thoughts on who will be taking over Mexico City after I leave for Malmo? No idea. I think most people would think @Juiceis an easy transition being in the LR and is a big voice for the team already. I would fully support that, but I think there are a lot of interesting and qualified candidates for the job. 4. Which team in the VHL or VHLM has the best logo? I really like Mexico City and DC. I mean those are the two teams I'm on but I truly do think they are the better ones on the site. Boubabi's Stockholm logo will forever be the goat logo imo. 5. Are you looking forward to either draft that's coming up? Really looking forward to the VHLM Draft. I'm interested where Markinson will land. I think the Draft process with Graves went by so fast, and no one really knew who I was as I was returning from hiatus. 6. Are you currently binge watching any TV shows? The gf and I just binged three seasons of The Sinner on Netflix. Pretty good stuff.

  6. Markinson Joins Mexico City Last week the STZ Agency returned to the VHL with their newest signing Hard Markinson. He's projected to be a top-pairing defenseman in the VHL, with good skating, a hard shot, and very physical defensive presence. His offensive awareness, puck handling, and play-making ability has been put into question; but he has many years to gain experience and develop those skills. After declaring for the S78 VHL Draft, Markinson was faced with the decision, where to play this VHLM season before being put into the VHLM Draft for next year. Markinson received nine offers from the following teams; Halifax 21sts, San Diego Marlins, Houston Bulls, Las Vegas Aces, Yukon Rush, Mexico City Kings, Miami Marauders, Saskatoon Wild, and Philadelphia Reapers. The decision was not taken lightly. At the end of the day Markinson and his agency team decided to go with the Mexico City Kings. The team is well run by both @Hylandsand @Juicewhich was a big factor in choosing to sign there. The team and members were also unique and all players I've never experienced playing with before. Markinson's build I really wanted to test in a high-octane offensive team, where he could be slotted high in the line-up, but also while being on a competitor. I also didn't want to go onto a team who had a bunch of players that would be bumped down because of the Free Agent signing(s). After reviewing the index and the most recent last 20 games played, I really liked the make-up of the Kings, and thought it would be a good spot for my new player. With that being said, I wanted to give a bit of a shoutout to those teams that made the effort to offer my player a spot. I think this current crop of VHLM GM's is incredible, and like I said in my player post, I was shocked how many and quick offers were made. Halifax 21sts @rory - The first one to offer, it was in record time. I mean rory is always online, I feel like I can meme post in discord and he always reacts. Originally Halifax was the team I wanted to join the most. I really considered it with their playoff matchups, and even seeing them get big wins on a few of the top VHLM teams. But at the end of the day, the team just didn't look right with my build. I would love to land here in the draft, but it just didn't align this time. San Diego Marlins @thadthrasher - I might have joined strictly based on the introduction video (I Think that was you who did the suit and tie vid). To be honest, I was looking at teams that would be playing in playoffs, and San Diego was missing. Still appreciate the offer, I think it's important, especially for new players to have a ton of teams offer them a spot, so even though there was little chance I would sign with most of the season over, still lots of value in what you are doing. Houston Bulls @rjfryman - This would have been a cheese signing. I think Houston is an absolute killer team, and I don't think they need any help. In fact, I would probably be hurting the team to bring a sub-200 TPE player to their team. I love the squad and it would have been a cool playoff run, but it just didn't make sense to me. I would rather be a bigger piece to a team, and hopefully push a team forward rather than just be sitting back seat to a cup. I'm a hug rj fan, and would love to play for Houston in the future if it came up! Las Vegas Aces @Spartan - Spartan is the only GM to reach out in discord. I like the extra effort. My last player was on Vegas, so I had experienced the team before. In all honesty, I didn't realize Conferences didn't matter in playoff matchups. I thought Vegas would have had the hardest road to a cup. I didn't realize that they weren't stuck in the 4th seed against Houston or Mexico. That was the main reason I didn't go with Vegas.. I mean knowing what I know now, I probably would have still made the same decision, but that's what I was thinking at the time. Spartan is a great guy, and seems to have done very well as VHLM GM.. Would be great to return to Vegas if drafted. Yukon Rush @MexicanCow123- Yukon is kind of the same situation as Vegas. I thought if I had joined the Western Conference it would be Mexico or Houston, didn't know about the cross-over rule. I don't really know Cow all that well, I think I've played a few Amung Us games with him, I remember the deep voice lol. But Cow is one of those under the radar guys who has really put in the work and made a name for himself. I definitely appreciate the offer. Miami Marauders @Ricer13 - This was another one of those sneaky teams that I never considered before sifting through the index. The team is built well, with a great member-base. I like Ricer a lot, and it would have been a solid fit for Markinson. I think just at the end of the day there's a few extra max-cap players on Mexico that just pushed me over the edge in that direction. The Marauders are definitely on the right path, and look to have a good shot next season (Assuming your roster is all drafted and are staying next season). Thank you for your consideration, man! Saskatoon Wild @Doomsday- I think this one was the toughest decision. Doom is such a good guy, and has been such a huge advocate for not only my time as VHLM GM, but has brought a lot of my old players to life with his historian articles. Such a nice offer message. Saskatoon was able to sign four free agent S78 players, and I just wanted to spread the wealth around. I think the lockerroom would have had a huge injection of talent, experience, and activity with the guys you added; I thought me signing at another team would just be a better fit overall, and spread that activity out throughout the league. I definitely appreciate the offer from you and of course the nice words as always. Keep doing what you're doing, Doom, you've proven to be a fantastic GM and you're an example of doing things the right way brotha. Philadelphia Reapers @DMaximus - My time in Philly with Graves might have actually pushed this forward for me. But ultimately just wasn't the right fit. I think the team is solid, but I didn't reallyknow mamny members there, and I don't know if they can quite handle the top teams in the minors quite yet. But again, appreciate the offer. Damn, second week in a row I started typing and couldn't stop..... marnerYikes
  7. Hard Markinson Is this the first time you've heard my name? Well I suppose I could tell you anything about my past. I could tell you that I'm a hardened criminal with a very questionable past. I could tell you that I've fought off a legendary train snake in the middle of a post-apocolyptic New York City. I could even tell you I'm a made-up fictional character who gets thrown into different imaginary situations every winter holiday. That would be too unbelievable, so why don't I just tell you what you want to hear; I'm Hard Markinson and I'm the newest junior recruit to the VHLM. This "review" is very awkward. I haven't even played a professional game, and I need to tell you how adequate I am, and why I belong here. It's much like a self-appraisal; do you come across as too cocky or weak without any self-belief. I know the kind of person I am, and I know ultimately the passion I have for the game. I hope that transaltes into talent, and I hope that I can meet expectations. I've been blessed with good balance and a tough mindset. I've been able to transition that into being a steady hockey player who loves to play every night. I have the drive to be a champion and that is my ultimate goal. It is my goal as a VHLM player, and it is a future goal as a VHL player. I know that I can bring an edge to the game that can help my team. I can drive play forward, and bring a team together. I've been a part of the US National Development team for the past two years. I've works along closely with trainers developing my game with USA Hockey. Growing up I watched Jake Wylde in the VHL after he decided to play here instead of the NHL. I've tailored my game after him, and it made it an easily decision to join the STZ Player Agency. It's the same agency that worked with both Wylde and Benny Graves who were graduates of the USA National Team Program. Ontop of that they've represented many other great hockey players in the VHL. I always find it funny when I read VHL or NHL comparables. When you look back on a player after their career is over, those comparisons really don't matter. Those comparisons are only for those people too lazy to look and scout for themselves. I model my game after my favorite players, but also I have tuned my game to what my body and mind can handle. I'm a physical defender. I'm willing to fight. I hold my teammates accountable. I have high expectations for myself. I am working on my foot speed and my accuracy. Those are the cliff-notes, but at the end of the day it doesn't matter what I write; it only matters what I do on the ice. Next week I begin my professional career with the Mexico City Kings. I'm thrilled to join an organization that is ready to win now, with a very strong, talented, and tight-knit group. I believe this is the best place to showcase my talent to position myself as a top pick in the VHLM Draft.
  8. I'd like to start off just by thanking all nine teams that reached out. I actually can't believe how on top of new creates you guys are; most of the offers were within minutes of me pressing "create". This was oddly difficult for me to choose, as you guys all have great enthusiasm for your team. I don't think I realized how many great members are VHLM GM's. I appreciate everyone's offer, and I look forward to the VHLM Draft with this much interest in my player. Anyways, I do have to choose one. I spent quite a bit of time in the index this afternoon, looking at team builds, and how the players within the team are built. I have a vision for my player and I really think there's a particular team that will be fun to watch Markinson play on for the remainder of the year. I'll be joining @Hylands and @Juice as a part of the Mexico City Kings! Accepto Thanks again everyone.

  13. Lock up your daughters, lock up your wives..
  14. Review: I like this. I think the render and bubble effects are cool. The font choice isn’t my favorite and it’s not overly attractive. The style is kinda weird with the hard bg and text and then the soft lighting a bubble effect. Overall it’s good, but I’m used to your work being more out of the box. 9.5/10
  15. Review: I really love it. The effect the warps the text and render is really cool. I think the gradient map is cool but it does wash it out a little much with it being over the lighting. Overall it’s a great looking piece, you’ve really been on fire since returning! 9.5/10 EDIT: I just saw this on PC, and looks way less washed out tbh....
  16. TL;DR‌ ‌ ‌ I‌ ‌had‌ ‌fun.‌ ‌I‌ ‌make‌ ‌new‌ ‌player.‌ ‌ ‌ Long‌ ‌Version‌ ‌ ‌ I‌ ‌wasn’t‌ ‌exactly‌ ‌sure‌ ‌what‌ ‌to‌ ‌expect‌ ‌when‌ ‌I‌ ‌recreated‌ ‌with‌ ‌Benny‌ ‌Graves.‌ ‌I‌ ‌had‌ ‌left‌ ‌the‌ ‌VHL‌ ‌ after‌ ‌stepping‌ ‌down‌ ‌from‌ ‌the‌ ‌GM‌ ‌role‌ ‌for‌ ‌NY,‌ ‌and‌ ‌then‌ ‌becoming‌ ‌inactive‌ ‌for‌ ‌the‌ ‌first‌ ‌time‌ ‌in‌ ‌my‌ ‌ career.‌ ‌At‌ ‌the‌ ‌time‌ ‌I‌ ‌left,‌ ‌I‌ ‌had‌ ‌felt‌ ‌as‌ ‌if‌ ‌I‌ ‌had‌ ‌already‌ ‌kind‌ ‌of‌ ‌done‌ ‌everything‌ ‌and‌ ‌experienced‌ ‌everything‌ ‌I‌ ‌could‌ ‌from‌ ‌VHL.‌ ‌I‌ ‌honestly‌ ‌felt‌ ‌as‌ ‌if‌ ‌there‌ ‌was‌ ‌nothing‌ ‌more‌ ‌for‌ ‌me‌ ‌to‌ ‌get‌ ‌from‌ ‌this‌ ‌ experience.‌ ‌On‌ ‌top‌ ‌of‌ ‌that‌ ‌the‌ ‌forums‌ ‌were‌ ‌kinda‌ ‌dead,‌ ‌most‌ ‌of‌ ‌the‌ ‌guys‌ ‌I‌ ‌talked‌ ‌to‌ ‌on‌ ‌a‌ ‌regular‌ ‌ basis‌ ‌here‌ ‌were‌ ‌not‌ ‌around‌ ‌as‌ ‌much,‌ ‌and‌ ‌I‌ ‌was‌ ‌going‌ ‌through‌ ‌a‌ ‌lot‌ ‌of‌ ‌personal‌ ‌life‌ ‌changes.‌ ‌ When‌ ‌I‌ ‌left,‌ ‌I‌ ‌really‌ ‌didn’t‌ ‌think‌ ‌there‌ ‌was‌ ‌a‌ ‌place‌ ‌for‌ ‌this‌ ‌community‌ ‌in‌ ‌my‌ ‌adult‌ ‌life.‌ ‌ ‌ When‌ ‌I‌ ‌came‌ ‌back‌ ‌for‌ ‌the‌ ‌first‌ ‌time‌ ‌since‌ ‌leaving,‌ ‌the‌ ‌site‌ ‌looked‌ ‌pretty‌ ‌much‌ ‌the‌ ‌same.‌ ‌I‌ ‌saw‌ ‌ there‌ ‌were‌ ‌new‌ ‌teams,‌ ‌but‌ ‌other‌ ‌than‌ ‌that‌ ‌pretty‌ ‌much‌ ‌as‌ ‌usual.‌ ‌When‌ ‌I‌ ‌left‌ ‌the‌ ‌portal‌ ‌was‌ ‌in‌ ‌its‌ ‌ infancy‌ ‌stage;‌ ‌I‌ ‌believe‌ ‌I‌ ‌had‌ ‌even‌ ‌helped‌ ‌Will‌ ‌create‌ ‌some‌ ‌of‌ ‌the‌ ‌buttons‌ ‌for‌ ‌it‌ ‌before‌ ‌I‌ ‌left.‌ ‌But,‌ ‌sure‌ ‌enough‌ ‌as‌ ‌I‌ ‌dug‌ ‌in‌ ‌a‌ ‌little,‌ ‌I‌ ‌got‌ ‌the‌ ‌urge‌ ‌to‌ ‌make‌ ‌a‌ ‌new‌ ‌player.‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ When‌ ‌I‌ ‌created‌ ‌Graves,‌ ‌I‌ ‌wasn’t‌ ‌sure‌ ‌what‌ ‌to‌ ‌expect.‌ ‌There‌ ‌were‌ ‌a‌ ‌lot‌ ‌of‌ ‌new‌ ‌members‌ ‌who‌ ‌I‌ ‌didn’t‌ ‌know;‌ ‌many‌ ‌more‌ ‌that‌ ‌didn’t‌ ‌know‌ ‌me.‌ ‌I‌ ‌did‌ ‌have‌ ‌the‌ ‌feeling‌ ‌as‌ ‌if‌ ‌I‌ ‌needed‌ ‌to‌ ‌redeem‌ ‌myself‌ ‌from‌ ‌going‌ ‌inactive.‌ ‌I‌ ‌wanted‌ ‌to‌ ‌prove‌ ‌that‌ ‌I‌ ‌still‌ ‌had‌ ‌the‌ ‌grind‌ ‌in‌ ‌me,‌ ‌and‌ ‌that‌ ‌I‌ ‌could‌ ‌still‌ ‌make‌ ‌a‌ ‌good‌ ‌player,‌ ‌and‌ ‌be‌ ‌an‌ ‌influence‌ ‌for‌ ‌a‌ ‌team’s‌ ‌locker‌ ‌room.‌ ‌ ‌ I‌ ‌quickly‌ ‌found‌ ‌the‌ ‌portal‌ ‌to‌ ‌be‌ ‌a‌ ‌game‌ ‌changer.‌ ‌It‌ ‌was‌ ‌incredibly‌ ‌easy‌ ‌to‌ ‌use,‌ ‌and‌ ‌made‌ ‌updating‌ ‌your‌ ‌player‌ ‌fun‌ ‌rather‌ ‌than‌ ‌a‌ ‌tedious‌ ‌task‌ ‌of‌ ‌formatting‌ ‌a‌ ‌bunch‌ ‌of‌ ‌forum‌ ‌codes.‌ ‌I‌ ‌joined‌ ‌discord,‌ ‌and‌ ‌that‌ ‌was‌ ‌a‌ ‌learning‌ ‌curve.‌ ‌I‌ ‌didn’t‌ ‌quite‌ ‌like‌ ‌it‌ ‌at‌ ‌first,‌ ‌I‌ ‌found‌ ‌it‌ ‌frustrating‌ ‌to‌ ‌try‌ ‌and‌ ‌have‌ ‌a‌ conversation‌ ‌if‌ ‌it‌ ‌wasn’t‌ ‌real‌ ‌time.‌ ‌The‌ ‌pings‌ ‌and‌ ‌tags,‌ ‌I‌ ‌just‌ ‌didn’t‌ ‌know‌ ‌how‌ ‌to‌ ‌use;‌ ‌VHL‌ ‌was‌ ‌legit‌ ‌my‌ ‌first‌ ‌experience‌ ‌with‌ ‌discord.‌ ‌However,‌ ‌it’s‌ ‌won‌ ‌me‌ ‌over;‌ ‌I‌ ‌really‌ ‌think‌ ‌it‌ ‌has‌ ‌made‌ ‌the‌ ‌community‌ ‌a‌ ‌lot‌ ‌more‌ ‌tight‌ ‌knit.‌ ‌ ‌ I‌ ‌quickly‌ ‌found‌ ‌myself‌ ‌falling‌ ‌back‌ ‌in‌ ‌love‌ ‌with‌ ‌this‌ ‌community.‌ ‌The‌ ‌new‌ ‌members‌ ‌weren’t‌ ‌toxic,‌ ‌and‌ ‌the‌ ‌leadership‌ ‌group‌ ‌for‌ ‌the‌ ‌league‌ ‌were‌ ‌all‌ ‌level-headed‌ ‌good‌ ‌members‌ ‌who‌ ‌I‌ ‌thoroughly‌ ‌enjoy‌ ‌and‌ ‌respect.‌ ‌I‌ ‌got‌ ‌drafted‌ ‌to‌ ‌an‌ ‌expansion‌ ‌team,‌ ‌and‌ ‌joined‌ ‌a‌ ‌really‌ ‌fun‌ ‌group‌ ‌of‌ ‌members‌ ‌in‌ ‌DC.‌ ‌It‌ ‌was‌ ‌a‌ ‌subset‌ ‌of‌ ‌the‌ ‌community‌ ‌that‌ ‌were‌ ‌made‌ ‌up‌ ‌of‌ ‌members‌ ‌I‌ ‌had‌ ‌never‌ ‌met,‌ ‌and‌ ‌also‌ ‌ones‌ ‌that‌ ‌I‌ ‌really‌ ‌liked‌ ‌from‌ ‌my‌ ‌first‌ ‌run.‌ ‌I‌ ‌started‌ ‌to‌ ‌chat‌ ‌more‌ ‌on‌ ‌discord‌ ‌and‌ ‌meet‌ ‌new‌ ‌members‌ ‌and‌ ‌reconnect‌ ‌with‌ ‌old‌ ‌ones.‌ ‌I‌ ‌started‌ ‌to‌ ‌make‌ ‌it‌ ‌a‌ ‌point‌ ‌of‌ ‌wanting‌ ‌to‌ ‌spend‌ ‌my‌ ‌time‌ ‌watching‌ ‌Leaf‌ ‌games‌ ‌while‌ ‌having‌ ‌discord‌ ‌on‌ ‌as‌ ‌well.‌ ‌I‌ ‌tried‌ ‌games‌ ‌I‌ ‌never‌ ‌have‌ ‌before,‌ ‌and‌ ‌played‌ ‌with‌ ‌a‌ ‌lot‌ ‌of‌ ‌cool‌ ‌people‌ ‌on‌ ‌here.‌ ‌It’s‌ ‌just‌ ‌been‌ ‌a‌ ‌really‌ ‌great‌ ‌social‌ ‌place‌ ‌in‌ ‌a‌ ‌year‌ ‌where‌ ‌ virtual‌ ‌social‌ ‌gatherings‌ ‌are‌ ‌really‌ ‌the‌ ‌only‌ ‌thing‌ ‌you‌ ‌can‌ ‌do.‌ ‌ ‌ So‌ ‌maybe‌ ‌the‌ ‌pandemic‌ ‌had‌ ‌a‌ ‌big‌ ‌influence‌ ‌over‌ ‌me‌ ‌coming‌ ‌back‌ ‌to‌ ‌fully-active.‌ ‌Maybe‌ ‌the‌ ‌site‌ ‌changes‌ ‌and‌ ‌the‌ ‌decision‌ ‌makers‌ ‌for‌ ‌the‌ ‌league‌ ‌have‌ ‌fine-tuned‌ ‌it‌ ‌into‌ ‌an‌ ‌inclusive‌ ‌place‌ ‌where‌ ‌anyone‌ ‌can‌ ‌find‌ ‌fun‌ ‌here.‌ ‌I‌ ‌know‌ ‌at‌ ‌one‌ ‌point‌ ‌in‌ ‌Graves’‌ ‌career‌ ‌I‌ ‌thought‌ ‌to‌ ‌myself;‌ ‌I‌ ‌got‌ ‌my‌ ‌1000‌ ‌TPE,‌ ‌I‌ ‌proved‌ ‌I‌ ‌can‌ ‌still‌ ‌do‌ ‌it.‌ ‌I‌ ‌thought‌ ‌maybe‌ ‌I‌ ‌would‌ ‌take‌ ‌a‌ ‌break,‌ ‌maybe‌ ‌I‌ ‌wouldn’t‌ ‌recreate.‌ ‌However,‌ ‌as‌ ‌the‌ ‌Trade‌ ‌Deadline‌ ‌approaches,‌ ‌I‌ ‌find‌ ‌myself‌ ‌thinking,‌ ‌why‌ ‌would‌ ‌I‌ ‌not‌ ‌make‌ ‌a‌ ‌new‌ ‌player.‌ ‌ ‌ I’m‌ ‌excited‌ ‌at‌ ‌the‌ ‌prospect‌ ‌of‌ ‌another‌ ‌run.‌ ‌Meeting‌ ‌a‌ ‌whole‌ ‌new‌ ‌group‌ ‌of‌ ‌members.‌ ‌Potentially‌ ‌playing‌ ‌with‌ ‌great‌ ‌members‌ ‌that‌ ‌I‌ ‌have‌ ‌before.‌ ‌I’m‌ ‌excited‌ ‌to‌ ‌get‌ ‌back‌ ‌into‌ ‌doing‌ ‌graphics‌ ‌more‌ ‌regularly,‌ ‌and‌ ‌grinding‌ ‌like‌ ‌you‌ ‌do‌ ‌when‌ ‌you‌ ‌have‌ ‌a‌ ‌new‌ ‌player.‌ ‌Hell,‌ ‌I’ve‌ ‌even‌ ‌enjoyed‌ ‌writing‌ ‌this,‌ ‌maybe‌ ‌I’ll‌ ‌go‌ ‌back‌ ‌to‌ ‌writing‌ ‌more.‌ ‌ ‌ Anyways,‌ ‌this‌ ‌is‌ ‌far‌ ‌too‌ ‌long‌ ‌for‌ ‌a‌ ‌VHL.com‌ ‌article,‌ ‌so‌ ‌I’ll‌ ‌wrap‌ ‌it‌ ‌up.‌ ‌Thank‌ ‌you‌ ‌everyone‌ ‌who‌ ‌made‌ ‌this‌ ‌last‌ ‌run‌ ‌and‌ ‌enjoyable‌ ‌one.‌ ‌I‌ ‌look‌ ‌forward‌ ‌to‌ ‌re-creating‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌next‌ ‌few‌ ‌days‌ ‌and‌ ‌starting‌ ‌another‌ ‌year‌ ‌here‌ ‌in‌ ‌VHL.‌ ‌
  17. It's pretty great to see how many people have applied that are more than qualified. Definitely a sign of a healthy league. I remember basically taking a GM spot because nobody else wanted it lol. Good luck everyone, should be very interesting to see how this goes!
  18. Serial? I listen to Rogan, Giant Bombcast/Beastcast, TSN Overdrive.. But I've fallen off since my commute has decreased.

  21. VHL/NHL Comparables You could do a list of players in the VHL that you correlate with the NHL. Could be past or present. Whether it be play style, success, team loyalty, toxic lockerrom reputation; you can definitely draw comparisons from the sim to real life. Graphics makers could use a Player render that they think draws comparisons to the player being showcased. New Member Spotlight Showcase a new member who has joined in the last couple months. Could be a great opportunity to really engage some of the members who just recently joined. Old Member Spotlight This could be the same theme week as new member or a seperate one. Basically showcase a member who has been around for a long time. Maybe how they influenced you, what you enjoy the most about what the bring to the community Mock Trades Day in the life idea as a VHL GM. You could take on the role of GM of any team and propose a trade that would make that team better. The graphic people could just do a signature with a player on a new team with a jersey change as mandatory..
  22. Happy Bday Tri
  23. Welcome to the league, enjoy!
