I like it, as far as VHLM goes. I don't think they should go into VHL. I'd definitely do this Also: another option to offset hampering the new guys is VHLM Star designated players don't start with the 30 initial? Gives new guys enough of a headstart on them to not be completely discouraged

Obviously it doesn't make much of a difference except for cleaning up the board, but I just noticed I never officially retired Hrdina. Obviously creating Lawson did that, and in the sim Hrdina hasn't been around (so in all practical matters, things have been acting as though Hrdina had been retired), but the player page is technically still in the NY subforum rather than the retirees.

Evan R. Lawson, former CEO of Hank Med now professional hockey player, has now graduated from the VHLM to the big leagues. After nearly winning a Founder's Cup with the Las Vegas Aces, Lawson's parent franchise, the Calgary Wranglers, have decided they'd like to use his services for season 60. It's appropriate that Lawson ended up with Calgary, as every player to have ever been brought into the VHL by the diamond_ace agency has been a Wrangler at some point, with the exception of Vaclav Hrdina who realistically should never have gone out of the VHLM (but spent a year with the New York Americans anyway, in an experiment that can only be described as odd given the realities of the league). It looks like Lawson will prove no exception to that, and if it's up to him, he'd like to spend his whole career there. Obviously the realities of professional sports don't always allow for scenarios like that to play out as the player intends, but it seems clear that only a trade entering an eventual rebuild would separate Lawson from Calgary, and such concerns are quite distant for a team just entering its window.

That's because your team was so kind as to send us a lot of lasagna, except you got the order size wrong, and instead of feeds 30, you ordered feeds 300. So naturally, too much of it was left and we didn't eat it all while it was good, and sanitation services haven't been through to pitch the rest.

Rivalries are overrated (in sim leagues, not in real life). I'm not about to artificially hate a team just because their guys are doing well in the sim. I'll hate them if they warrant it on the forums, and that's about it.

Just to clarify, you'd be 2nd line center for me, anchoring two of my new guys. You would always play center, if that's a thing that matters to you (I'm actually slightly short on centers compared to other forwards)
