1. The only one that really stands out is the new d-man that we have in Halifax

Definitely want to see what Laytin Cupp does. He is a big bodied playmaker so he will be able to hang on the defensive side.

2. There were no moves to be made by HFX at the deadline, what are your thoughts?

With the addition of our new Finnish teammate we pretty much filled out biggest hole anyways via waivers.

3. With the season coming to a win down, where does Halifax stand? 

We are in decent shape. Definitely making the playoffs but it's a matter of seeding now.

4. Who has been the hero of the team this season?

Ash Sparks is and it's not a question. I'd like to think I've made a big difference but Ash is the real deal.

5. Which NHL team is overhyped this season?

I think it's going to be the Oilers or Blue Jackets, both those teams have big name players with poor management. I hope Johnny Hockey the best but he should have went to the NJ Devils.

6. You can only eat one food for the rest of your life, what is it?

If I'm being a smart ass, I'd say soup. It's the most versatile and doesn't lose it's value when you are suffering medical conditions. My favorite food is probably a nice slice of pizza though.

2. I think the team we have now is more than capable of winning.

i think it is fine ngl, we aren't in a position to trade anyone. we're in the middle of the pack, trying to fight for a playoff spot and we got a pretty solid roster so i think no trades is fine

it hasn't been great for sure, there are ups and downs in the M but i think we did great after having a big slump in the beginning. we definitely need to take pride in that

i feel jeffrey bezos has been really clutch and he's been playing super well. Sparks too has been a brick wall so i feel its a team effort to reach where we are rn

 

5. Which NHL team is overhyped this season?

honestly vegas will always be overhyped after its first season. they got eichel and kessel and a new HC but i feel they will still be subpar for the season

1. Season is pretty much over, what do you think of your player's performance this season?

I've been up and down but overall it's just growing pains as a rookie moving up to another level. I've done enough to earn top unit time across the board.

2. Do you think you'd rather stay in the VHLM to solidify your status or move up to the VHLE?

I'd probably give the VHLM another run for the right GM and team but I'd certainly have a lot of interest in moving up.

3. Who do you predict to be our first round opponent?

I think we might catch Mexico City. Things have been heating up between our locker rooms so it will be a fun match up. 

4. How do you think we stack up to other playoff teams?

I think we are middle of the pack, up top I feel really good but teams like Mexico have a lot of depth compared to us.

5. Which team do you think can knock off the Avs this season?

Tampa Bay will always be a threat to any playoff team. NYI is also a sneaky team that I think just had a rough go of things last year. In the west I do like Edmonton now that they have a non-dinosaur goalie. Minnesota has done some solid things too.

6. Would you rather be blind or deaf?

Neither preferably but I think deaf. I think my vision in the modern world is a far more important tool than my hearing.

1. My player had a good season but he showed flashes that he could be better then he is right now

I think my player did pretty good on an overall basis. He definitely didn't start out strong but slowly picked up the pace there.

I would move up to the VHLE because i don't really got a choice but I also only had intentions to stay in the M for a season extra.

Considering we had a pretty rough end to the season, we might be walking a tight rope here. I am confident that if we are on fire, we will advance pretty far into the playoffs.

1. A literal cannon on the blue line. Built to lay siege to the opposing netminder.
2. The individual goal for this player is to be at the top of the league in points. For the team, it's to have the team be at least top 3 in the league.
3. I'd say I was taken about where I was expecting to go. The defensemen ahead of me were already gobbled up so it was only a matter of time at that point.
4. Standard would be PF, Media Spot, Job Pay, and Trivia to cap out every week. I'd love to continuously cap out since I've yet to do that for a player and I want to see how far I can really push it
5. It's the VHLE so nobody cares. Irrelevant league.

1. Mikko is a mud sized center with a play making and finisher touch making him an effective scorer.

2. I want him to put up more points this season as it is his second season and he's got experience, and for the team I just want to have us make the playoffs and have a good season.

3. It was a bit earlier than predicted so I hope Mikko will live up to the expectations of the clubs.

4.  I will continue to work on the graphics and other point tasks I can in my free time.

5. No clue, haven't really been to focused on who is at the top, just focusing on Mikko.

As the captain i can say the team did a good job, we work hard but now we need to focus on winning.

1. The start could be better but I feel like can bounce back and start making the push, we have the scoring.
